She had never met the colt that sat next to her, but she was still concerned about the well being of others. She looked around, 'I've never met most of these ponies before.' she thought to herself.

Drizzle just sat there looking around and wasting time then he started to look around his seat and other areas to see if anyone dropped a bit or two just to find somthing to do then just looking around but he didnt find any. Drizzle gave out a small sigh then went back to observing the other ponies in the cafe. "I never seen these ponies in my life nor do they know me" he thought

Diehard walked outside to see more guards pouring in from the sky as well. What in the world is going on here?

Glancing out the window, he saw another wave of troops march through town.

"Isn't that odd," He muttered aloud.

"There's something going on in the Everfree Forest. A lot of ponies are gathering there preparing for combat." She replied to Octavinyl.

Fae, is a humanoid winged thing around the size of a parasprite. Fae's body is mostly like a black shadow, her eyes emit blueish white glow and she has this dark blue glow around her.

"Aren't they fighting some terrorist attack or something? I mean that's what they keep saying to evertypony." Octavinyl said to Starbolt as she had a worried look on her face. "That's a lot of soldiers to fend off a terrorist attack too."

"I seriously doubt this is a terrorist attack. They have mines and electrical fences set up." She said not realizing she was not supposed to know this. Starbolt stopped talking.

 

Fae was also curious on how this pony recognized her and knew her name. Did he know Starbolt? Fae rolled her eyes at his remark. She couldn't speak to anypony but the one who summoned her so technically she was mute.

Lapis Lazuli looked up from his newspaper. He'd been at Sugarcube Corner since in opened up for the day. He had come here in hopes of peace and quiet. Sadly, that wasn't the case. He sighed heavily and put down his paper. Things had been quiet without Asteria, his faithful assistant. She'd grown bored of Ponyville and had teleported home. She'd return later, unless something happened back at her little village. Until then, Lapis just continued research and attempted socialization. But, he just kept to himself and watched ponies. The things they were talking about interested him, though. Something about combat? "Excuse me, but what are you talking about?" he asked the ponies who were talking about terrorists.

 

Misty Leaves had overslept once again. She awoke to the sound of soldiers, but had gone back to sleep. Later, she forced herself up off her poorly constructed bed. In reality, it was just a pile of straw. She trotted out of her crude little shack, curious as to what those sounds earlier had been.

Octavinyl turned to the colt that was now talking to them, "Well a lot of soldiers which looked like they were coming from Canterlot are going to the Everfree forest. It's strange that they are just claiming that there is a terrorist attack." She replied.

Emerald finally arrived at the entrance to SugarCube Corner.

"Smells good, like usual." He said.

He looked in, noting the fact that there were a few ponies in sitting around that he didn't recognize.

He ran his straightened his jacket and ran a hoof through his mane.

'Gotta look okay for Pinkie, maybe today she'll actually have time to talk to me.'

Just as he was about to step through the door, a squad of hurrying soldiers galloped past, knocking him through the door.

Landing in a pile on the floor, he looked around, hoping no-one would notice his fall...

Flame woke up from a nap on a small cloud above Pony Ville, standing up he stretched yawned and then flew down toward Sugarcube Corner, on his way he noticed a big group of guards walking toward the Everfree forest.

it looks pretty busy today, he thought to himself as he walked through the doors of Sugarcube Corner. he stood in line for his usual cup of jasmine tea.

when he was done paying for his drink he sat down at a table in the corner of the room and looked out the window he saw another big group of troops walking through the town, What is with all these guards ? He thought sipping his tea.

Drizzle got tired of sitting so he stood up and went to the counter and acted like he was about to order just to get up and moving then went and sat back down. and went back to wachting others. although he enjoys the company of others he tends to keep to himself and think "Id rather be in here then out there with all that going on" he thought

Fae shrugged she could get in anyway with her invisibility or just fly through a thick tree. She hovered next to Razor. She wondered how he knew her. Probably a friend of Starbolt.

 

"It's not a terrorist attack that's for sure." She said as she thought of what it could be. "They are too well armed for it to be a simple terrorist attack." She added.

"I doubt that this is a terrorist attack, the Elements of Harmony don't get called in for a 'terrorist attack'," He replied to the mare beside him, whom he came to mentally call 'Bright-haired-mare'.

He began to nervously tap the table with his hoof.

What is so dangerous that they need the elements for? He wondered.

Unknown to him, his tapping was rather loud and was getting on the nerves of some of the patrons of the restaurant.

"Wait, how did you know about the Elements getting called in?" She asked the pony with a fedora. Starbolt was having trouble keeping the table conjured with his constant tapping. The table flickered for a moment.

 

(OOC Starbolt had to conjure a table because SCC was full, for some reason all you ponies decided to come sit here.)

"You mean that the loud marching I heard earlier was soldiers? Very odd. What do you think is really going on?" Lapis said, slightly perplexed. This seemed out of the ordinary for sure. He got up and walked to where the others were. Today had started slow anyway, so this was better than reading the news.

 

Misty noticed some soldiers heading to the Everfree, so she flew up and carefully followed after. When she arrived at the forest, she realized there were a lot more soldiers than she would have thought. "So, this must be what I had heard..." she mumbled, making sure to stay out of sight as she watched as they deployed military stuff. She didn't really know much about weaponry, but what they were doing looked important.

He always made sure to add that last part; for some odd reason, despite Twilight Sparkle saving Equestria twice now, she was never really recognized for it.

Razor talking to his father. Dad whats going on here? Why are all these troops here? And whats with all the weapons and stuff? All i can tell you is that we are here under orders from the Princess. She said there is something coming this way and we need to set up a defense perimeter. Thats all i can tell you now leave before you get me Cort-marshaled.

"Yes I know her, I borrowed a book from her awhile back." She replied. Starbolt now put effort into keeping the ethereal table there. The pony's rapid tapping was disrupting the spell.

"Yes," Penmark replied to the inquisitive pony. "Well... all I know was that the Elements were called together today, supposedly for a couple of days. So I just figured..."

He takes another sip of his coffee, gives a sour expression, then puts it down on the table.

Why do I keep forgetting that? He wonders.

Noticing the flickering table, he has ceased his tapping and is now returned to staring out the window.

"Well, this is a very strange turn of events. I've heard that the Elements of Harmony were very important. Perhaps another conflict is on the horizon? Either way, this is starting to make me worry." Lapis replied, putting his hoof to his chin in contemplation.

 

Misty couldn't hear what the ponies down by the forest were saying, but it did look like whatever was going on was very important. She gracefully swooped closer, avoiding anypony's view. She just hoped no one spotted her. Delicately, she landed in a tree, and listened closely.

Octavinyl returned to the table with another cup of coffee. As she sat down she looked at everypony at the table, "I guess there's a war or a rebellion?" she said to them as she mixed cream and sugar into her 3rd cup of coffee.
