Twilight's fortress is surrounded by an impenetrable barrier. The outside of the fortress is volcanic rock, and varies wildly between being smooth as glass to being wickedly sharp enough to slice through just about anything. The rock itself is magically enchanted, which makes it practically invincible. A vast moat rings the castle, the bottom of which leads directly to Tartarus itself. Twilight's fortress is also guarded by demons, killer robots, dark wizards, undead, abominations, and many horrors too terrible to name.

 

If we try to enter the fortress unprepared, we'll all die horrible deaths.
