And you think those guards that you slaughter mercilessly aren't innocent? Most of them are. They know nothing of their master's evil scheming. In their eyes, you're a dangerous criminal you has murdered several of their fellow guards. They are only doing what they believe is right. Do you know why most of those guards joined the Templars? To protect and help people. Sure, maybe the people in charge of the Templars are in it for power, but the average guard on the street just wants to keep peace and order. Most of them haven't done anything wrong. And yet you go about killing them.

Templars are trying to take over the world, they bribe guards to join them, and we are the only ones who can stop them.

And once more, you demonize the Templars, ignoring their positive aspects while focusing in on their negative ones. Very few Templars are trying to take over the world. Most of them are benevolent protectors of the people. Perhaps you could justify your actions if you only targeted the Templars who were corrupt, but instead you mindlessly slaughter hundreds of innocents to kill one guilty person.
