Base infinity? Well, I admit it's a good way to save space on paper, but I find it's horrendous when you're trying to find more and more symbols to represent each number. Especially when you reach 36 (that's base 10), since then you've used up all conventional digits and letters. I personally like base 16 quite a bit.

Well, the easy part is finding unconventional characters to use. The hard part there is ensuring everyone knows that when you use the ~ symbol, you mean 56, and the ? symbol means 64.

Usually I only use base infinity with other Eldrich Abominations, who already know what the more... arcane symbols mean.

By avatar, do you mean my sharply dressed pegasus or my four Pokémon on top of the 42? Either way, thanks! Although I feel the sharply dressed pegasus I have there is a bit too generic, so I'll probably change the colours a bit before actually calling him my avatar. When I'm done, perhaps I'll replace the transparent Pokémon on my avatar with a transparent sharply dressed pegasus?

 

As for the idea of having Pokémon pose to make a 42, I love that idea, and would probably do it if I could, but I have no idea how I'll get that done with my non-existent artistic skills.
