Well, in previous gens they were a distinct race. Not sure if there are seaponies other than in seaquestria, but given some of the transformed gryphs have chosen not to go back, its possible there will be future generations of born-seaponies, for who the hippogryph form is no more natural than pony or dragon.

Well, this isn't the AB fan club, but she is cute, intelligent, friendly, and saved both AJ and Flutters from a horrible fate. She also learned how to channel her anger productively, instead of sacrificing part of herself for safety in a way that reminds me uncomfortably of the Equality Village.
