*Nitpicking Intensifies*

Nope, storming my stronghold is technically a thing you could do in mine craft!

Truth is ponies overtook my interest in Minecraft.

You can have both together.

I've used FTB a few times.

Wasn't too interested.

What happened to building things only limited to your imagination

Now it's all:

"GO GET ___ SO YOU CAN CRAFT _____ AND THEN DO ________"

Being limited by imagination alone is creative/peaceful mode.

Normal/hardcore/survival is about breaking rules, adapting to and overcoming obstacles, and showing the world that you can take anything that it throws at you. It's about the adventures you have as you become more and more powerful. It's about progress despite the challenges you may come across.

My interest in Minecraft is actually a bit low too. I still come back to it every now and then, but the truth is that Skytopia project is actually a year or two old. I've been extremely slow in adding new things to it. But, being able to show off my new buildings here will probably give me a lot more motivation to start it up again!  :squee:  But then again, uni, so progress will still be slow if I do...

Zombies, Blazemen and Ender Dragons aren't obstacles.

I almost exclusively play Minecraft on Creative mode. I just want to build huge cities!

Also, am I the only one that sticks with vanilla Minecraft? It sounds like the rest of you use mods quite heavily.

I like vanilla, not only that, but I usually play on "beta 1.7.3"

Heavy isn't quite the word I'd use... actually I can't think of any words that accurately express the amount of mods that I use.

I always just update to the latest version. That's kind of the reason why my Super Mario building got covered in snow. At first, I set it to be an Extreme Hills biome since I liked the colour of grass from that biome. But in a later update they made it so Extreme Hills biomes snow above a certain height, and I made that world very tall so I could easily build underground levels if I wanted to, so... Snow. I'm surprised all those factors worked together to ruin my world like that, since if I just set the biome or the height differently, it'll be safe from random snow weather.

Yee isn't even close, no matter how scrumtrulescent it is.

Build a giant glass dome over everything.

Think of any number (except 0, or the math will fail). Raise that number to the power of 0. Subtract 1. The result is the number of mods I use in Minecraft.

Why don't you use mods?

I must depart, for I am busy tomorrow.

Farewell!

That's... Brilliant!

Why don't you use mods?

Well, the main reason is that I'm happy with Minecraft as it is; it has far more than enough to keep me entertained and build my giant cities or whatever else I feel like. Some other more minor and nitpicky-ish reasons for you to argue against are that I'm worried creating problems by using mods that are incompatible with each other, or making a world become corrupted if I use mods on it and later uninstall that mod and want to use that world again.
