"That sounds like a great idea. Ill go check out the basement now." Sky said as he walked over to the door he assumed was the basement. As he opened the door he was greeted by darkness. While he looked for a light switch he stumbled and fell down the stairs. "Ow" He shouted.

"Are you okay sky?" asked Kalypso he walked over to the door to the basement "Wow its dark down there i'll help look for the lights, oh here they are." he exclaimed as he flip the light switch "there much better Whoa! the basement is huge! i can't believe we didn't find it sooner."

Cloud Whisper went out of shower, hearing everyone heading somewhere. she wanted to ask marisa, but when Cloud peeked into her room she seemed busy.

when she started got down the stair she saw Shooting Star heading downstairs, she asked "where does everyone going to? "

Marisa heard the door open and turned around to see who it was, but whoever it was left before she could see. She got up from her chair and opened the door, there were some voices coming from downstairs, she walked down the flight of stairs and wondered around till she found all the other ponies heading for what seemed to be the basement, "Hey, why are we all heading the the basement?" she looked over at Cloud Whisper and sighed, "Look... about earlier... i was being kinda rude, and i'm sorry... i don't know what has gotten into me lately, but rest assured that we are all friends that live under the same roof, okay? You seem like the shy type, so i will try not to bother you too much" she gently nudged Cloud Whisper and smiled.

Nimbus gathered some bowls, some snacks and a few bottles of soda and he carefully flew into the basement. He looked around for a while and said. "Wow, this place is massive!" He Stared in amazement, contemplating what else they could use this large, nearly empty room for. He held up the snacks and asked: "Uhm... where should I leave these?"

"Yea, im fine Kalypso. I just came down the stairs quicker then I thought I would." Sky replied as he got up and began to walk round the basement. "Wow this place is huge." Sky said with amazement. "Maybe if too many people become part of this house we should send them into the basement." Sky joked.

Cloud Whisper looked at marisa and said "i tottaly understand, most of the ponys wouldnt like an homless pony they dont know they doesnt know in their house, i need to thank you for not telling me to get out of the house" she looked down and said "im sorry for coming all of a sudden"

Nimbus decided to just place the snacks somewhere in the middle of the basement. He rallied the others. "Over here, everypony! Come and gather around!"

 

He quickly went to get some pillows to sit on and placed them around the food in a circle. "Go ahead, pick a spot."

Sky walked over to the circle that Nimbus had created but instead of sitting on a pillow he made a small cloud and sat on that so he was slightly elevated compared to everypony else. Sky had always prefered sitting on clouds then earth made items such as pillows and chairs.

Nimbus inquisitively watched Sky. When he saw that Sky had made a cloud to sit on he laughed. "You never change, do you?" Nimbus took a seat next to him and started to examine and poke the cloud Sky had made.

 

Nimbus stretched his wings and yawned. With his hoof he traced a few calculations on the floor before him.

Whisper went down the basement as she heard nimbus calling everyone. she stopped next to the door, and stood against the wall checking up everything

she dicided only to check what happening before really joining

"impresive basement, kinda darkish... why do we gathering in here?"

As Ice Opal sat down, the uncomfortable bumps of dusts pushed into him, and he shifted left and right, trying to find a better position. He jumped up, cursing at the floor, before making an ice sheet across the floor. Sitting down once more, only this time on the ice, he happily settled into the soft surface of the ice, the cold not affecting him one bet. "Who's gonna go first?"

"Welp, why don't you kick it off Ice? The rest should be coming soon, so you can just start if you want to." Nimbus grabbed a bowl and filled it with cocktail nuts. He passed the bowl around and then took a few from it. "After that, I'll go, and then Sky, and then we just continue clockwise."

Star rushed into the basement. "Sorry I'm late guys-- Woah!!" He tripped and faceplanted downstairs, quickly standing up. "I'm ok! I'm ok... Whew..." He cleaned his throat nervously, looking around the place. "I went upstairs looking for everypony and uh... kinda got lost... But hey, this place is cool!" Star looked around at the circle the other ponies had formed. "Hm... Is there any place I can take?"

Cloud Whisper asked worried "are you sure you ok? you just fell down a whole stairway"

she went to the place where everyone took a sit and just picked a random pillow and sat on it. she looked around still a bit of confused and tried to understand why they want everyone in this wierd basemant

"Heh, I'm fine, really... Thanks, Cloudy!" Star sat next to her, explaining the situation. "Well, we had this idea of coming down here to the basement and tell everypony about our life stories, so we can get to know each other better. I'm sure it'll be fun!" Star grabbed a bowl of peanuts and ate some. "Oh, by the way. I didn't even asked yet... Is it okay for us to call you Cloudy? Or do you prefer something else?"

Kalypso sat upright on a pillow "OK this should be tons of fun, learning about all you ponies lives." "Hmmmm" thought Kalypso "you know what i wouldn't mind sleeping down here it could use some sprucing u but i would be able to do it and we could make some space in the rooms this way."

"our... life stories? wait, know eachother better? i was sure you know eachother already" she looked at him surprisly.

she took a random snack and started ate it slowly. she didnt talk for few seconds and then said "the nickname is cute, you can keep calling me that"

Marisa slowly walked down the stairs, not taking a risk of falling down like the other two did, once she got the the bottom she walked over to the center and sat down on a pillow next to Sky, "Life stories eh? I thought we were going to do that tonight, but using the basement works too i guess" she slightly looked up at Sky and smiled, "Should be interesting to hear what happened in you're life. Oh and just a warning to everypony, my past is a bit... dark, but its okay, I've heard worse"

Star stopped for a moment, realizing they hadn't told Cloud Whisper about the situation yet. "Oh right, you still don't know about it! What happened was that, when we all came to this house, we thought that we were not going to share it with one another. It was a surprise for everypony when we saw the house getting filled with strangers. We soon found out that the owner of this place decided to rent the house out for smaller fees per head, and didn't told us about it. So now we all have to share the house because of it." He looked around, whispering to the pink pegasus. "Not everypony is comfortable with the idea yet. That's why some of us might sound a little rude sometimes, even me. But don't worry. Soon, we will all get along! I'm sure of it!" He smiled, then driving his attention back to the stories that were about to be told.

"Oh, hey! Marisa, I've been meaning to ask this for a while now, but what kind of stuff do you write? I mean, are you a journalist or a novel writer, or maybe a scientific researcher?" Nimbus was hoping for the last of the three, it would be nice to have somepony to learn a few new things from.

Marisa looked over at Nimbus and put a hoof to the underside of her chin,

"I guess you could say i'm a novel writer, i just write whatever i feel like really, mostly stories though. I'm not any type of pony who does research, i met a brilliant unicorn when i visited Canterlot once, oh what was his name... agh, i can't remember, but if i see him i will be sure to have him meet you"

Ice Opal let Marisa finish before he began. "When I grew up, I learned different spells that all pertained to ice. I used to have a job at meat factory," he said, chuckling, "before it shut down. I have 10 brothers, even an evil one. I am also-" he paused, not sure if he should say it. He decided against it. "Nevermind, your turn Nimbus."

"Welp, first of all, I'm not from Equestria. I'm from Neighpon. I moved to this country because I lived in a village with my friends, in a house much like this one, just... smaller... Anywho, before I knew it, I had learned everything the schools around that area had to offer." Nimbus chuckled. "They called me a prodigy, but I hardly believe that's true."

 

"When I came here, the first thing I did was look for a new school to learn about cloud designing, and it didn't take very long for me to get into a good one. That's where I met Sky, we were in the same dorm, and his room was right next to mine. We hung together for a while and he was pretty much the only friend I had here in Equestria..." Nimbus thought for a second. "Well... He and this colt called Embers. Funny thing... for the longest while I thought Embers was a mare, and I thought "she" looked very pretty too, but confusing genders seems to be a theme with me, because it was neither the first, nor the last time I confused a colt for a mare, or the other way around. It actually took me three whole months to learn my best friend's gender."

 

"However, the school got shut down, Sky, Embers, and I went our separate ways, and eventually I became a freelance cloud designer for any weather pony institute that desires my services. It pays well enough to get around and I really love clouds, so it's an all around good thing for me."

 

Nimbus took a few nuts and popped them into his mouth one by one.

Quilluison walked slowly down the stairs, realizing she was slightly late. "Sorry I'm late guys." She said, as she took a seat at random on one of the pillows. "So if where telling life stories, who has already gone?" She asked, looking at each of the gathered ponies.
