posting is very easy so nothing is hard about it.

Randomly posting and reviving threads are easy for me. If anything I get bored finding things to revive and post in.

One of these days I'll make a thread I can regularly post in and entertain myself with.

My freakin' brain! Like I'm posting something and my brain is like "what if this offends someone, what if this doesn't make sense, what if no one cares" like bro be quiet just let me post it already! I overthink quite often and have anxiety, so those two things make it hard for me to post sometimes.

Also my mood makes it hard sometimes as well, like if I feel down or not ready to socialize I am usually quiet.

The hardest part is probably not upsetting someone else, if we make a critique about a show or movie, anything, the key is to get our point across without making it sound like we're not giving it credit where it is due. Negative reviews are easy to make, to be fair and balanced about it, is a different matter altogether. People can be understandably critical about certain characters in My Little Pony FIM, but they can also be overly critical about it. Most people don't even have a degree in anything to do with mental health, I don't either, but at least I don't go making over generalizations about what Princess Luna was going through in episode Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep. She was carrying some deep emotional baggage from her fight with her sister so long ago, those unresolved issues, she had no one to talk to about it as at this point in the show, she did not want to put her problems on everyone else. Was it logical to create Tantabus to torture herself? no, and that's exactly the point, self harm, is not logical, ever, and that's why she earned sympathy, not because of self harm, she doesn't deserve this, what earned her sympathy was her genuine remorse.

I used to be on another forum before I made MLPF my permanent home, and my threads were always summarily locked, no matter how much care and consideration went into them. As a result, I stopped posting threads for years (see my previous posting in this thread). But then I got over it and started posting threads again and everything was fine. Being on a good forum seems to make all the difference, and I overcame my crushing sense of inadequacy. It isn’t hard at all anymore.

Most of the time, it's hard for me to find good threads to respond to. There were also times where I came to a thread and forgot what I wanted to type in my response once I opened it up.

I don't find it hard generally, manely because I don't have the second worry in the OP :P

not knowing what people want to nicker about or not wanting to whicker about the same chaff is the mane thing.

I’m sometimes afraid of saying the wrong thing.

We're human and we try, that is the important thing. If we make a mistake, we cannot change the past, but we can grow from it, that's all we can do. And if other people are capable of empathy they will see that you're trying.
