Devin McCourty's Demotion

As of today, is no longer a moderator. He has been deemed to no longer be a good fit for the MLP Forums moderating team and has been demoted as a result. The details are between Devin and the administration, but please be assured that this is a decision that he has personally agreed to.

 

We appreciate his dedication to serving the community, having moved, merged, and otherwise tended to hundreds of threads during his time with the moderating team, in addition to serving as an advisor on many internal decisions. Moving into the future, we wish him all the best.

I'd personally like to thank Feld0 and rest of the administration for giving me the chance to help out the community in any sort of way, and my time with the rest of the staff has been nothing less than stellar. In any case, it was a fun ride, but I needed this sort of release to prevent myself from collapsing. Rest assured, the team's the best I've served with and I wish them the very best in their future endeavours to keep the site clean and running.

I'll be here for a long time. I love this site, and what would I do without you guys? I'd probably be posting silly things on the ESPN AFC East blog 24/7 (OK, that's an exaggeration).

 

I'm extremely happy to know that lots of people want me around here... makes me feel very accepted and overjoyed. You guys truly are a wonderful community.

Spoon, I will personally miss those times where we conferred to lock up all those threads and make those other decisions in Show Discussion and Sugarcube. While it wasn't inherently pretty, it was still a good bit of fun and I somewhat enjoyed our little conversations on what to do. I think I'll miss that the most, but you're an awesome fella, and will do much better without me. I hope to see you soon, too

I...really don't know if I tell exactly my thoughts ony what happen. I'm pretty sure someone would get mad.

 

However, I will say it had to do with the boatloads of moderators thread. It was more of a...personal reason. It was concern I had ever since that one guy became mod, (though he is no longer mod now and still...)
