Say Twilight snaps, Lesson Zero style but much worse. She won't listen to reason or anypony.

Some questions

1: Could Celestia stop her (Twilight won't obey her)

2: Could Luna stop her?

3: Could the rest of the mane 6 working together stop her?

Honestly its depends on how powerful she is, if she snaps due to all the power going to her head then everyone is screwed, if not she'll most likely just get sent to the moon for a couple of centuries.

I think that this could happen as Twilight seems to snap pretty easily. I bet that she could be handled by Celestia, Luna and Her friends though.

I reckon that Celestia and Luna could take Twilight, maybe not on their own, but together they probably could, especially with the Mane 6. I do think that the Mane 6 on their own could probably take her though, because they are very close to her.

Depends on exactly how strong Twilight's magic actually is. We've seen Chrysalis' magic overwhelm Celestia, so she isn't unbeatable. Discord seems to be the most gifted magician in Equestria, on the balance of the evidence. But most of Twilight's magic seems to be derivative, she reads up on it and sets out to reproduce the results, so until she starts developing her own unique spells, in the vein of Star Swirl, I'll say that I think that Luna and Celestia united could take her.

Assuming this is current Twi and she has gone full rogue, with no chance of talking her down, only stopping her in a fight.

 

Either Celestia or Luna could take her no sweat. Twi is powerful, but not Alicorn level. It's possible she could get there, though.

Although, if she went Avatar State (or whatever it's called when her eyes glow and she does crazy shit, but NOT when she's using the EoH), there may be a possibility of defeating one of them. IIRC the only time we've seen her like that was during the entrance exam, so we don't really know how powerful she would be if she did it now.

 

The rest of the mane 6 couldn't however. Twi is easily the most powerful in a fight, and would take them all out, no problem. The only ones who would even be relevant in a fight vs Twi are AJ and RD. AJ wouldn't be hard to defeat with magic, and RD would only pose a problem because of her speed. However, Twi is a lot smarter than her, and would probably use magic to slow her down, or perhaps just wall herself off with a force field and then take her out while she's trying to break it. And obviously, they can't use EoH on her, since she's one of them

She's a prodigy but come on, she can't take down Celestia or Luna like in some of that crazy fan art acting like she can. She wouldn't be easy to take down, but both Luna and Celestia have powerful magic and experience from a couple thousand years. But as for the other six, I don't think they could really stop her through brute force. Applejack can't do much but buck which isn't very effective against someone with powerful magic, Rarity's a unicorn but her magic is a lot less powerful than Twilight's, Dash has tornadoes and stuff but I don't think it'd be enough to land a critical hit as long as Twilight kept her eyes peeled for it coming, and that leaves Pinkie and Fluttershy.

 

The Sonic rainboom nuke might be able to do something, but I don't think Dash would be all too willing to do it on a friend. Unless Fluttershy's stare worked on Twilight, I think it'd be up to the Princess, plus maybe Shining Armor if he was needed for backup in containing her, to stop Twilight completely.

If Twilight did go nuts, I think she would be able to take Celestia and Luna. They would be able to give her a good fight, but if she is crazy then we have to assume that her magic well be unpredictable. So she could hit them with a spell that could hurt them pretty bad.

 

As for the other six. If they tried attacking, they would lose. Now if they tried talking to her and reminded her about the friendships they have and helped her remember. She would clam down.

I say yes to all three, Celestia and Luna I think would be able to stop her easily if needed, and I think the rest of the Mane 6 could save her, it would be sort of the same way that she restored the Mane 6 from Discord’s influence, just opposite. I think collectively they could make Twilight come back to her senses.

I think it would depend upon if in her madness she still held a connection to the element of magic. If she did then she would be a major danger to even Celestia.

 

However, regardless of how much she respects her student, I think Celestia has a contingency plan for exactly this situation having seen the possibility of it someday happening.

1. Yep Celestia would be able 2 stop her in my opinion. Even tho Twilight is an excellent unicorn with magic abilities that goes far beyond a normal unicorn's dreams, Celestia could just do the same with her as she did with Nightmare Moon

2. I really have no idea how she would do that and if she could... don't know much about luna's magic... but I think she can... or she could at least Canterlot Royal voice attack her

3. hmmm... Applejack straps her down, Rarity would make sure there's an elegant bed or something on the ground so that twlight doesn't have 2 lie down on the grass (for what reason I don't get cause they love grass), fluttershy would... tell the animals to leave that place for a while? Pinkie Pie would say random things so that Twilight would snap out of her own craziness... like an exorcism... cuz crazy + crazy = sane. Rainbow Dash would make sure she can't leave using magic... or just track her down. so yea it's possible
