I would guess fake, simply because of the 1.5, but I could be wrong. You'd think they'd continue with their Final Mix naming convention.

like it could be true the 1.5 I think probably means that it only has Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Chan of Memories. That might be a possabilty.

They should release this for the WiiU as well. It's garnered tremendous support and the preorders for it have sold out everywhere already, plus square has put 3 or 4 games on Nintendo's handhelds already. I really don't understand why they're so adamant on keeping the main games of the franchise on Sony's consoles; unless of course Sony is throwing money at them for it

Yeah this is real. I'm hoping that this will come out in America. I have the PS2 version of Final Mix and have beaten it despite not knowing a single word of Japanese (AKA learning what symbols meant "Aero" and which symbols meant "Save my sorry ass Curaga spell"). Final Mix was insanely fun on Proud Mode, and I was rather proud when I beat it due to the difficulty at times. I would love to play it again in a language I actually understand lol.

 

However I am not happy about the inclusion of Re: Chain of Memories. This was, in my oppinion, one of the worst Kingdom Hearts games ever made. Almost as bad as the gameplay mechanics of 358/2 Days. I hated the card system with every fiber of my being, that crap doesn't belong in an action RPG as it negates some of the need for skill and knowing how to dodge shit. All you had to do was "0" card the shit out of your opponents OMG-PWN-Your-Face LOL moves.

 

Finally.... I'd really rather just have Kingdom Hearts III but I am content with an HD version of Final Mix.

Totally real and I'm looking so forward to it. Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix, KH Re:CoM and 358/2 days all in HD on the PS3.

I did hear somewhere that 358/2 days might not be playable but instead it will only be HD cutscenes but I'm not sure if this is true.

 

Anyway, I'm guessing (hoping actually) that since most HD remakes have only 1-3 games included, that they'll make another HD remix pack with KH2 Final Mix and BBS. Fingers crossed.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 will not actually have 358/2 Days the game. It will have all the cutscenes for the player to watch in an in-game library.

 

As for the game itself, I'm not even sure if it will be localized. Outside of Japan, there have been no releases of Final Mixes, so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get this one either.

Not to derail the topic or anything, but you can download the English Patch of both PS2 Final Mixes from the Internet. I'm assuming you have Swap Magic, so all you have to do is get another DVD-R disc and download the patch on there, then switch it with SM when it's software comes up.

That hasn't been completely confirmed though. I wouldn't care if they did leave Days' gameplay out either way because that was my least favorite spin-off game.

 

Plus, it would be kind of stupid to only have cutscenes from the original game and not actually have the game implanted in the collection. Either have the full game in there or don't. Don't tease it and then expect us only a half-assed attempt, ya know?

I don't know how the heck a 358/2 Days HD would work, as much as I love the game and DS I don't think a 3D DS(not 3DS, a DS game with a 3D world and stuff) game would look very good in HD, in fact it would probably look pretty terrible, they'd probably have to redo the whole game...

Remember though, CoM was originally made for the GBA, there's no way you'd be able to stuff an entire KH adventure on one of those Game Paks. While I was surprised with it, I was incredibly happy they were able to do an actual game on the DS. CoM was fun for the GBA, but not so much when Re:CoM came out.

 

But yeah, I agree with you, I'd rather have KH 3, but this would be pretty cool too. Gotta play through 1 and 2 again.

I think that if it haves a Final Mix in HD, then the game it's only going to be in japanese which is no big surprise coming from Square Enix.

KH was a PS exclusive when it first came out so making the most important games in HD for PS3 isn't a bad idea, it would be better if it's for multiple platforms though.

The title for the HD edition of the game is Kingdom Hearts 1.5, it's what happens before KH2, and KH2 doesn't really need a HD edition since the game itself has some good graphics, the same with BBS.

And Square Enix always forgets the community... they left me down with The World Ends With You, expecting a game for 3DS then they launch it for iOS, huge dissaprovement.

Me want so bad the only thing I love than ponies kingdom hearts must and when I get it pure amazingness will enter my mind to bad it dosent have favorite games in 2 and birth by sleep. Also why no on Xbox square you put final fantasy on it you can put this as well, oh well I'm sure 3 will be.

You'll have better luck downloading an ISO file of the game (the data straight off an actual PS2 disc) and applying a patch to that file, then using some particular software to burn it to a DVD which the PS2 will then hopefully read without error. I've tried downloading straight patches from sites like PirateBay and they are very broken.

This is indeed real, it's going to be released to the PS3. It has KHFM, and the other PS2 KH games.

 

I first heard about it in January, and as a big Kingdom Hearts fan, I cannot wait for it. An English version of KHFM.
