What's that wierd thing you do that makes you special?

Eyupp, The title says it all, what's that odd thing you do that makes you unique.

 

For example. When i go outside i always take on my shoes first. even in the winter when i also have to wear a jacket and such. This often leads to wet floors in the winter.

I'm not sure if this count's; but i'm known by my family for knowing and producing may weird and random fact's and random moment's in conversation's

But the main thing that makes me "special" is that I juggle.

 

And there are quite a few things more that I don't want to take up right now.

too scared to post in this thread. i always get anxious when i have to say something positive about myself and the like. i think i'm afraid of people getting the impression of that i'm a bastard. i dont even know.

I always pace in circles. Whether I'm thinking, listening to music, or just bored, I follow the rule of ABC: Always Be paCing. For some reason, motion just helps me think better and concentrate more.

 

I also tend to fiddle with small or large objects in one hand; if I don't have something in my hands, I feel uncomfortable. So right now this means when I'm pacing in my dorm room, I carry around a huge shower curtain pole as if it were a walking stick.

 

I make it a goal to come up with a joke every time something new and tragic happens in my life or the world in general. I don't usually share these jokes, because I don't want to offend others, but something about finding the humor in all situations in life helps me cope with how crappy this world can be at times.

 

I change my username at least once a day on Steam, on silly whims. If I come up with a funny phrase or hear something that sounds like it would make a good name, I give it a test run. At least one of my friends doesn't appreciate this, because he always has to check one of my friend's profiles to see what my current username is.

I tend to rub the back of my head while talking to people; I guess it's a nervous habit or something. I also used to place my palm on my sternum.

 

If someone compliments me, I might start acting awkward, because I don't know how to respond to compliments.

 

I have a habit of spitting when in the shower, which I think carried over from spitting out pool water.

 

When I talk to people I'm unfamiliar with, I'll tend to talk in a lower tone (it's like I won't let myself speak normally), and with a higher tone for friends/family. I'm certain this is common, though.

 

I like to imagine certain dialogues/situations that I think are funny, but I don't tell anyone about them, because I don't think they would understand.

 

Just some weird quirks, i guess.

I lie on the kitchen cabinet.

I lick my nose.

When I´m bored, I´m practicing eyebrows-up-and-down (dunno how to call it).

Time to time, I go dancing in the rain.

I´m singing to myself while I´m walking the street.

When I´m in a bus, I always sit right behind the bus driver, because here´s a reflecting plastic glass, so I can make silly faces on myself the whole time.

I draw on the misty windows in the train.

I read while I´m walking (f.e. from the train station home)

When I see one of my schoolmates feels sad, I walk to her, and start singing to her an old czech song: "Again, you are so sad, who needs to look at that. You don´t find it tasty to eat, you might have a bug in your head."

Everything that remains in my hands for more than 5 minutes is doomed (tickets, small plastic forks etc.. I destroy everything).

When I´m on a computer, I often catch myself sucking on a pair of scissors.

+ all the things based on paranoia I do.

I'm not sure if those counts, but here's some random facts that make me rather unique:

 

> I tend to smile whenever I see someone - stranger or not - sleeping beside me;

I always stick pens in my hair or behind my ear while changing classes or studying.

 

I make up silly rhyming songs about my boyfriend, our dog, and with the girls at work about different dog breeds we work with

 

My hair changes color naturally with the seasons, it is strawberry blonde in summer and spring and turns more red autumn through winter.

 

I have to have amythest in my house or on my person at all times.

 

My southern drawl is very pronounced with the words "oil" and "iron". Also my accent becomes thicker when speaking on the phone in a business situation and also in my private life when I am comfortable around someone, my family, or when I am drunk.

I have no unique perks.. I'm extremely bland and boring.

 

Whenever I'm around new people or someone I "like" (if you get my drift) I suddenly speak in a very high tone. But then whenever I'm around family, friends, or just people I don't give two doodoos about I keep my normal voice.

 

I'm one of those people that can't eat the burnt part of a french fry and rip that part off and throw it away.

 

I'm also a major hypochondriac, like I once had a very bad sore throat and seriously thought I had some sort of cancer. I literally worried myself sick over it. I've also worried myself sick just thinking about the afterlife and my soul living forever and ever and ever.

Well, I have plenty of weird quirks...

 

• I talk to myself so often that I wonder if people think I'm crazy (well, actually I know some do).  I mean people thought I had an imaginary friend in school, but nope, that's just me talking to myself rattling on. My grandma once said I should be a preacher.  But I immediately shut down when I see people, so that wouldn't happen. Plus I'm an atheist, so I really wouldn't preach the word of a god I don't believe exists.
• I have this odd tendency to mess with things when I'm nervous. Like repeatedly moving the arm of my boyfriend's chair back and forth, twirling pencils...
• I do a lot of pacing, like it apparently gets so bad that people actually start getting mad at me for doing it. Apparently it gets annoying, but I actually can't control it.
• I sometimes get into an odd habit of striking poses when I'm closing doors.  Maybe it's my inner diva trying to come out.

Probably more things I can't think of.
