" Lucky said a bit depressed he never thought that he would cause hurt out of help then he raises his head back up " I was wondering do we have any books that mention of famous ponies like from the first war and other stuff? " He asked having a good plan that may fail out of his clumsiness none the less he still wants to try

"Mmm, thats a bit... erm, cliche? Wait..." Magneus rubbed a hoof to his chin and then suddenly raised his hand, "Miss Cheerilee, what is the due date on these projects? Someponies might want to make a larger presentation, taking more time"

He had a plan going, not like an evil plan or anything like that, just an amazing presentation, but it would need a bit of help from a professional magic user... namely Miss Twilight Sparkle.

Although Splinter didn't know what to do, Dawn Swirl was quietly working on a -lopsided- earth pony using a couple of pieces of paper and a tube of glue. Although it was only a badly made model, Dawn Swirl smiled to herself. She was proud of what she had made, and started to work on a model of a pegasus.

Miss Cheerilie smiled at Magneus and Lucky Star, she just loved when he students asked questions. She purposely didn't mention the due date and other details because she wanted to get a feel of the students. Like which ones were hard workers, which ones stayed on tasks, which ones were class clowns...etc.

"Class if you need to research anything feel free to ask Twilight Sparkle who lives at the library. She is very nice and has agreed to help any or all students who need background information. The due date for this project is Thursday and the presentations are to done on Friday."

"Ohhhh!! I thought we were going to have to finish this for today!" Amber laughed joyfully at her own misunderstanding. She glanced at the working material on the table. "...That means I can do it later." She swooped away from the table, looking around the classroom once more in search of something fun to do. She took her time to check up and down the important-looking filly Diamond Tiara, when she noticed she had a cutie mark. "Woah!! That's so cool!!" Amber exclaimed, staring with an astonished expression at the filly's flank. "What does it mean??" She asked loudly, pointing at Diamond Tiara's cutie mark.

" All right! " Lucky answered after Miss Cheerilee mentioned the due they of their project as he begins to trot back to his desk assuming that there was no book on the classes bookshelves and that the sound of going to library heard like the more possibility of finding something that can help.

 

As he was trotting he noticed that Amber Vox and that she got out of her seat " Hey i got a... " Lucky cuts off there noticing that she was speaking to Diamond Tiara " She probably wasn't hearing me anyway." he thought to himself as he stops behind his stool and sits on it turn his head to Acrosplash " I got a plan for this project and it begins with going to this library and meeting Twilight Sparkle. " he said

Diamond Tiara scoffed. "Cliche? Cliche?! Well, perhaps that is true, but believe me, I will redefine the nature of presentations in costume." She smiled craftily, her mind already working at full clip on makeup, hair...

 

"So we've got a while, and Twilight Sparkle...? I like how you're thinking, Magneus. I'm sure your presentation is going to be a blast!" Not as much of one as Diamond's, she was sure. She was going on internally, on a roll, when it was rudely crashed by a certain Amber. Diamond whipped around, an annoyed snarl forming, but she then cut herself short and smiled politely. Attention was attention, after all.

 

"Uh yes..." Diamond giggled nervously, "A lot of ponies say it means that I'm naturally incredibly beautiful, I guess. Does that answer it, Amber?"

Acrosplash immediately brightened when Lucky Star spoke to her. She had thought that neither of her new group mates would even say a word to her, since she joined.

"I'm still not completely sure as to who Twilight Sparkle is," she said and truthfully she hadn't ever heard about the pony. Her dad had mentioned something about a Sparkle somebody and Princess Celestia but she hadn't been listening completely. Now she wished she had stood there and soaked up every bit of her dad's information, instead of sounding and probably looking like a complete idiot. "But going to the library sounds like a good idea." she said.

Upon hearing what Diamond Tiara said about her cutie mark, Acrosplash scoffed. "Or it could mean that you're vain." she muttered. She had decided that she didn't like Diamond Tiara much, do to her stuck up attitude.

"Acro, everypony has time to change, even if they have their cutie mark. Sure it says what your best at, but what if its something you don't want to do? You can be anything you want, granted it doesn't go out of the law" he smiled over at Diamond Tiara, it seemed she wanted to change so ponies didn't think of her the wrong way, a admirable goal indeed. He shifted around in his seat and started to draw some basic sketches of what he would do, everypony will be so amazed... and fooled at the same time.

Lucky Star stared at Acrosplash blankly after she mentioned that she doesn't completely know who Twilight Sparkle is when in the honest truth he doesn't know her at all and gave a clumsy smile proving it but then he remembered seeing the library on his way here and nods at her smiling " Right. " he shortly responded

 

He decides to return his view to Amber Vox but as he did he overheard Acro's remark to Diamond Tiara calling her vain which made him quickly blink and starts turning his head left and right looking at Acrosplash then at Diamond Tiara but then overhears Magneus's lecture on cutie marks and nodded agreeing with that said statement

Acrosplash glowered at Magneus for calling her out and butting in. "I didn't say she couldn't change, I just said that she acts really vain." she snapped, irritated by how he totally twisted her words. "And besides she said that most ponies say that her cutie mark means that she's naturally and incredibly beautiful! Being beautiful isn't a talent its a physical appearance!" By that time she was practically snorting out smoke as she argued his statement. And to make it worse Lucky Star was suddenly acting all short with her and he seemed to agree!

"Ugh, when will this day be over?" she groaned and laid her head on the desk.

"Now ponies please do calm down and Acrosplash try to be a little nicer?" she said then glanced up at the wall clock. "Okay my little fillies and foals, class is going to end in about twenty minutes, so if you have any messy materials that you need to clean up, do it now." she trilled.

Amber noticed a little commotion rising again between the classmates. It sounded to her like Diamond Tiara wasn't exactly a very friendly type and some of the students looked at her with some kind of displeasure. Amber didn't mind much though. "Your cutie mark means you're naturally beautiful?..." She thought for a while, wearing a suspicious look and staring at the 'naturally beautiful' filly's cutie mark . "...I've never seen a talent like that before! That's so cooler!!" She said loudly, sounding like some kind of fan-girl already.

 

After hearing miss Cheerilee, Amber looked back at her group's table to see if there was any mess to clean up. She threw away the few useless creased papers and turned to her partners - Lucky Star and Acrosplash - afterwards. "So, you guys going to the library or what?" Amber asked. Unfortunately she did not hear the conversation about their plans for the project.

Diamond Tiara wasn't hurt by the retaliation, not a bit. Frankly, she was a bit offended that Acro hadn't called her out on more. If you criticized another pony, at least go out of your way to really chew them out! All the same, Diamond was a bit nervous. She hadn't even really done anything yet and already she was being seen as a diva. Of course, that's what she wanted to be seen as, but if her reputation was cemented too soon then people would be biased against her! Then how would she impress them? A hoof went up to adjust the positioning of her tiara, tilting it into an angle no better or worse than where it had been already.

 

But at least Magneus was sticking up for her. Diamond Tiara smiled at her partner, an actually genuine smile as small as it was. She trotted over to Acro's desk, politely waiting until her head was done to lean in and start whispering:

 

_{"... Did I ever say I'm happy with how people interpret my talent? You included, mind you. But hey, I guess I am vain. I thought I could be possibly friends with you, but obviously that was a dumb thought."}

 

Diamond Tiara straightened up. Two out of the class were already her enemies. This was going to be an interesting year.

 

"Yes Miss Cheerilee!" She quipped at Splinter, "You hear that? Get rid of your mess." She then trotted over to Amber. The girl might be nuts, but at least she was nuts in a positive way. Unlike Splinter. "You think I'm cool? Thank you very much, Amber!"

''That's a nice model you made there..'' Splinter said while looking at the model and smiling. ''A lot better than I can do..'' Splinter said while remembering something. He shuddered and rolled his eyes. Splinter picked up the pieces of tape he had used and taped them to the bottom of his desk. Splinter overheard what Diamond Tiara said. ''Oh, go jump off a roof you tiara wearing.. I don't know what to call you.'' Splinter said while looking at Diamond Tiara.

"Princess?" Magneus said in an attempt to finish off Splinters sentence, he loved to twist words and embarrass other ponies, it was so fun to watch them crumble. "Sounds like someone has a crush... From what I've heard, you only pick on the ponies you like" he gave a wide grin and laughed, Ahh... just too much fun.

''Watch it, Smart mouth.'' Splinter said while his eyes turned red for a quick second. Splinter raised his hoof in the air. ''Ms. Cheerilee, why do we need light? I'm sure Magneus and his amazing mind can lead the way.'' Splinter said while trying to hold back laughter. Bad Jokes are fun!

"Pretty sure i could actually" he smiled and chuckled, he had more magic capability than most other young unicorns. He sighed and helped to clean out the garbage that was there with his magic. He could do it little effort, he did it all the time back at his home while reading and researching.

" Well that's the plan. " Lucky responded to Amber's question but then turns to Acrosplash and sighed " In about 20 minutes ok? Don't let her get to you..." he said not if that would help or not but then replays every single word mentioned from Acrosplash to Diamond Tiara and while trying to see some good in Diamond Tiara her smugness really makes it hard to see and begins to dislike her but keeps quiet and looks under his desk for any mess " What she needs to do is get off that high chariot. " he whispered hoping no one heard him

 

After getting back up turning his head to Magneus and Splinter once again fighting he shrugs his shoulders and gives a quick chuckle "It's not even a week and now they become rivals. " he thought laughing then turns back to the front of the class staring intently at the clock deciding since they're rivals to each other he'll secretly become their rivals as well. As he stares at the clock he becomes a bit inpatient and begun to tap his hooves on the desk

Diamond Tiara gave a highly exaggerated shudder. "Oh, Celestia help me if he has a crush on me!" She was wearing a smile for the rest of Magneus and Splinter's conversation. Magneus clearly had ambition, ego, and Diamond Tiara could work with a pony like this. For a moment, a very strange visual of the two of them wearing hoods and conducting occult rituals occurred to the young foal, then Diamond shook it out.

"SPLINTER HAS A CRUSH ON DIAMOND TIARA???" Amber shouted, way louder than she expected herself and ignoring her own group partners once again. Despite the arising unpleasantness between the classmates, Amber was so much thrilled for finally feeling like she had a group of friends. Hell, a gossip was already roaming through! More than ever, the pink colored, red haired unicorn filly couldn't hold back her excitement. "Oh my! Oh MY!! Tiara, my bff, this is AMAZING! I promise to not EVER tell anypony about this! I'm so happy for you!" Amber acted like she had known Diamond Tiara long enough to be considered her "bff". She then went to trot around the classroom hoping on the tip of her hooves, grinning and giggling uncontrollably.

"For Celestia sake Amber, calm down, i was only joking" he said and shook his head, the hyper active pony struck a nerve in him, probably a lot of other ponies too. "And trust me, you don't want to be crushed on by him" he chuckled and looked over at Diamond Tiara and smiled. Maybe they had something going on... agh, but what chances are that? Magneus is just a silly nerd that nopony ever cares about.

Amber ceased trotting around after hearing what Magneus said. She looked over to him with the most mischievous look on her face. "Oh... I think you're right... Splinter's not the one who has a crush on Diamond Tiara..." Amber raised an eyebrow while slowly walking towards Magneus "I see somepony else has..." She stared for a few more seconds at the colt, then collapsed laughing. "Hee hee hee! You guys are just so fun!!" She exclaimed as she resumed her joyful hoping around.

"Oh please, were just partners"
once he said that he realized what he just said and facehoofed, "Nevermind, that just sounds worse. What if i do? And what would you do about it if i did?" he looked at Amber and raised a brow, she would probably laugh at anything.

Once he finished up cleaning he looked at the clock, there was about 10 minutes left in class, maybe they would let them have recess early. Magneus would stay after class to help Miss Cheerilee with whatever she needed.

Diamond giggled slightly at Amber's antics. Was she an idiot? Yes, to an extreme degree actually. But Diamond had enough enemies as was, and she found that Amber was more endearing than anything else. It was like she was a cute little puppy. Who could hate a cute little puppy? "Frankly, I don't care if he has a crush on me. He has zero chance." Diamond Tiara was equally amused by the idea that Magneus was the one crushing on her. She put a dramatic hoof to her brow, tilted her head back. "Only the first day of school and I've already got two boy after me. What on earth is an innocent little filly to do?"

 

Chuckling, a genuine hearty chuckle, Diamond Tiara was quiet for a moment. Then she glanced at Magenus. "Seriously, don't even try anything." She went back to her desk and sat.

Splinter put his hoof on his forehead. ''I hate you.'' Splinter said while looking at Magneus. ''I don't care. I don't even care anymore..'' Splinter said under his breath. ''I just want to get out of here. I just want to leave right now. Now please do me a favor, and shut up. I don't care if your pretty. I don't care if your smart. Just shut up.'' Splinter said while glancing at Diamond Tiara and Magneus.
