ooc SonicXMLP: Friendship is Way Past Cool OOC

RP THREAD

After a rather pointless ideas thread I decided "Screw it im gonna make a SonicXMLP RP" So here I am. I do have a basic story thought up though it needs some tweaking.

Story:
Another day has passed on the planet Mobuis and, like always, Sonic and friends have once again defeated Dr Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. What the heroes don't know is that the good [or bad] doctor has something up his sleeve. You see for a while Eggman has been researching other dimensions to find something to defeat Sonic, something stronger than the Chaos Emeralds. One day he comes across something called "Equestria" that appears to have all sorts of powerful artifacts. Worthy of note are "The Elements of Harmony" that are bound to six ponies, which inhabit this world in great numbers. Today Eggman has finished his Dimensional Jumper thanks to a Chaos Emerald retrieved from Metal Sonic. Once Eggman enters Equestria he will find the being known as Discord and free him from his stone prison using negative energy from a Chaos Emerald. Once Discord is free they will find the Elements of Harmony and defeat Sonic once and for all. As the heroes defeat Eggman, Metal Sonic comes to his masters aid allowing Robotnik to activate the portal and escape to Equestria, as Metal follows. With nothing left to do Sonic and Co. follow the two into the portal. This is where our story begins.

So basically Eggman is going to free Discord, get the Elements of Harmony and use them against Sonic. You can be almost anyone from either franchise but you can not, I repeat CAN NOT join as your OC. This means Sonic OCs and pony OCs. This is meant for cannon characters only though I may let you join as a background pony such as Derpy though I'm not too sure.

You can be characters other than the ones I listed. So if you want to be someone like Celestia or Silver then by all means join as them. Also you can join as more than one character. One plot point; Elements of Harmony do not defeat the good. If Eggman and Discord use the Elements of Harmony against the mane six, there would be no effect.

 

Perhaps that could be one of the scenes; then, Eggman would try to modify them into Elements of Disharmony or something of the like.

 

As I don't have a big knowledge of Sonic, I'll just play as Applejack and Twilight. If I can't have both, I'll play as AJ.

Oh darn it, Clarity. You beat me to Twilight... ;_; Oh well, If I can't have her, then I suppose that I'll choose Sonic and Rainbow Dash. I've grown up with Sonic all my life, so I know how to personify him and RD is not so different from him. I've even thought of trying to get some people together to make a MLP/Sonic fan animation, but all I could do is provide Sonic's voice and maybe some of the other Sonic characters like Shadow. Anyways, I choose Sonic and Rainbow Dash if I can't have Twilight along with Sonic.

Oh, it's gonna be FUN being Discord in a Sonic-mlp crossover! First up, take away Sonic's speed, Tails's flight, and Knuckles's strength. Then I capture all of the animals and turn them into long-legged bunnies. Then, Eggman and I (who I will make his name literal) will have a good laugh over our world domination.

I was thinking of something in that same effect like the Elements of Chaos or something. I believe that this says it better than I can...

 

 

Anyways, I'm a little disappointed that Amy or Cream aren't a part of the RP since I see them more often than the Team Chaotix. I really don't miss Charmy at all... That's just me though.

 

Also, Shade. I don't think that Discord could directly affect Sonic because of a small secret that is a huge reason why Eggman has failed to deliver absolute defeat to Sonic. If you read the comics, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, then check out Death Battle Mario vs Sonic on YouTube to learn the reason why.

I added both of them. Though if someone really wanted to join as Amy or something they could.

 

Also we may be able to start with an Eggman. I'll say that Sonic and Co where separated when they went through the portal to give people more time to join.

I thought Emerl died at he end of Sonic battle. Well you can be Espio and Spike at least.

It's easy to do if you can pick two that aren't very different from each other. Sonic and Rainbow Dash for example, have the need for speed and while they may be insensitive and impatient at times, they will always stick by their friends and do what it takes to save the world. I guess that why I chose them together. I'm gonna try and portray Sonic as he was in the Sonic SATAM series as well as how he was in Sonic Colors and Generations. Roger Craig Smith (Ezio and Chris Redfield) nailed Sonic on the head with his acting in those games. Although I can't decide if Jaleel White is better with Sonic than he was.

I didn't like Jaleel White as Sonic. Whenever he said something I kept thinking of Urkle from Family Matters. My favorite voice actor for Sonic will always be Ryan Drummond though Jason Griffith was a nice Shadow.

I think I'll be spike. (Get his claws on a chaos emerald and see if he can't bust up Metal Sonic.) Although I have difficulty believing him Rarity and Fluttershy will be able to help fight unless they get powered up.

I can understand Fluttershy, but I definitely think that Rarity can fight. Didn't you see how she kicked a Manticore in the face? Although, she probably will just rely on her ladylike wits on Eggman. Oh man, I can just imagine him getting annoyed in 10 seconds flat.

lol. Seriously though, I would like to see a bit of Knuckles action. I can envision that Twilight and Tails would be quick friends. Although I think that you should probably stick to two characters before deciding to go more so that others can join. I think that the Sonic team has much more for them than the Mane 6 Team.

Yeah, that might be the problem since I'm not sure if the iPad can support certain parts of the text writing like a comp can. You gotta look for the button labelled with the letter "A".
