My Discord bros set out onto their first Baulder's Gate 3 jaunt the other day. I declined to join them. The game looks great. But after 7000 hours of Skyrim, it might be another five years before I'm ready for another RPG. Too much, why did I do that? 0_o

omg!! i love love LOVE skyrim ^~^ especially with mods >:3c but nice and innocent mods that add depth and game mechanics, not those kind of mods.... 
i saw an indie game called tainted grail fall of avalon which is basically what i'd describe as a Scrollslike game (instead of soulslike >:3c) in that it's kinda bethesda-esque in how it tackles open world RPG uwu intend to try it out at some point :3

I'm caught in a mix between Balatro, Shadows of Doubt, and Forza Horizon 5.

I caved into Balatro and it's been addictive though I'm bad at it. 

Shadows of Doubt I picked up again because the devs were updating it again, though I wish they didn't release the game from early access so... early. But if they're still working on it, maybe they can do the thing where the game gets slowly updated over a few years and becomes a really good game? Who knows. 

I forgot I had Forza Horizon 5, so I began using it for benchmarking purposes, but I find it to be quite enjoyable to pick a random car and drive around without needing to worry about always winning to progress.

Trine 4 co-op with @Raskolnikov, an excellent game still, I appreciate the story is longer (The prince is so unlikable with such a punchable face. ) and the new mechanics worked well with the gameplay after getting used to it after I was kinda put off at first. The controls are a little bit weird and unintuitive, whilst Trine 2's controls were a bit awkward for being an older game on the Deck I still preferred the additional control they offered.

Working through the DLC now, then probably gonna roll onto Trine 5 when there's a sale and see how that is.

And oh boy, tonight do I have a POV that you do not want to see when you play this game. 

Flying Phoenix Rod Pinkie Pie has the self healing Necromancer Lightning if you get too close, and the Iron Liches do enhanced damage when they're nearby her.

Been trying to do ucn on switch. Shut up I’m trying the unlimited power and coins cheat. Just want to see if I have a chance of getting the final office. With the doors and vents closed it prevents anyone from getting in. Not sure maybe i could like I unno watch the duct system and add on the mediocre melodies. That might get closer to 8000

Wait, there's cheats on the Switch?  I haven't played UCN on Switch very much so I can't remember too much about its special console features.

To say that the System Shock franchise has been a big part of the life of my YouTube channel, and of my life as a gamer doesn't even begin to give any sense of it.

I've already done full Let's Plays of the Regular System Shock 2 and Night Dive's System Shock, a reimagining of the ancient and venerable original.

Not RIGHT this moment but I've resumed my playthrough of Sunless Sea two days ago and have finally gotten an adobe, child and will, as well as a half decent ship. Pleased! I did miss this game, it's somehow crept into my top favourites just for the super immersive gothic horror atmosphere and killer soundtrack. (I'd love to make gothic/doom versions of the tracks.)

I also found out that the director of the game ended up inspired by the loss of his father at sea when he was SUPER young - they never found his father's body and to this day have no idea what happened to him, he was an Air Force pilot or something and his vessel just... disappeared in the North Sea. So a lot of the themes of unease, horror, loneliness and sudden death seemed to be inspired by this painful and sudden early loss and his subsequent thalassophobia. I already really enjoyed the game but stuff like this makes it click 'why' you get pulled to some stuff as much as you do...
