I was originally going to say reviewing, but I don't like to think of myself as review since I'm only talking about bands I already like. therefore I'm not really reviewing, I'm promoting.

 

My post about the artist Sorg Uten Tarer:

 

 

As this is my first musical review I would like to start by saying that I lack the ability to write, for many people it comes naturally, but for me, well, I’ve never been great with words. So I’m going to write what does come natural. since this is music you can’t let anything stop you, you simply have to write with your emotions.

Sorg Uten Tarer is my favorite musician of all time, honestly I can’t name a single album of his that I don’t like. his music has an emotion to it that simply can’t be named, filled with such joyous sorrow and passion, you can tell that he loves doing what he does. folk, acoustic, black metal, no matter what he does he fills it with so much pure emotion. his albums Moonsilver and Our Night Songs Will Forever Be are my favorite be far. whenever I hear his music, I can’t help but be filled with sorrow and joy. I suppose that is why he is Sorg Uten tarer, Sorrow Without Tears.
