"I think we're on the wrong train...?"

Amber's eyes widely opened as she slightly jumped up from her seat, turning back to Ganaram. "Wrong tra-- Oh please, don't be stupid! How could we possibly have picked the wrong train?" She looked around the weird-looking compartments and seats of the train, with a somewhat worried expression on her face.

Wrong train... Pff... No way.

Amber curled into her seat again as she listened to Ganaram's conversation, as he asked one of the passengers if the train was going to Appleloosa. She just laughed sarcastically, and mumbled silently: "Heh... You worry too much."

"Uh... No?"

Amber rose her ears and stared at the blue unicorn when he replied Ganaram's question.

"You guys didn't see the engine with the lettering 'Manehatten Express'? Or notice that this train is really crowded? Or - ... never mind."

Her face went pale. Did that pony just say 'Manehatten Express'?

"Ok, our next stop is Manehatten. Though, it's almost a couple of hours travel to get there. The next train to Canterlot leaves from there there in..." Rook levitated the program and flipped through the pages. "In about a day.... think"

Shivers ran through Amber's body like an electrical discharge. Her pupils shrank and she started sweating. She wouldn't bother that much picking the wrong train - she couldn't care less where she was travelling to. But that city... She wanted to avoid it at all cost. Coming back there after everything that happened was unthinkable. It was a past she wanted to erase so bad.

Amber stayed silent. A single tear ran down her cheek as she thought of the possibilities of having to return to Manehatten.

"I-- I don't know if... You're... Well, I just met you not too long ago, and it felt like we've been friends for months, and I feel like I've endangered our..."

"Shut up."

She replied softly, yet harshly between her sobs - at that point she was already crying rivers.

"Just... shut up." This time a little louder.

Amber immediately rose up from her seat and rushed inside the bathroom, slamming the door shut. She stared at her reflection in the mirror and kept on crying uncontrollably.

I... I can't... I just can't...

A red Unicorn that was traveling with the grey Pegasus bursted into tears. She pushed Rook out of the way and ran to the bathroom.

"Ok, so I guess this is a problem...." Rook said. "Uh, when do you guys need to get to... wherever you're going? Like I said, you'll be back in Canterlot by tomorrow if you catch the right train."

When Electrobolt had heard this was the wrong train his eyes shot wide open. In his mind, he had mixed emotions. On one hoof, this meant that perhaps his saddlebag was still safe in his room on the right train. On the other hoof, however, this meant trouble as they were split from the others, and are going in the wrong direction. Then his mind returned to when they had arrived at Canterlot and were eating their food. Looking over to Amber and noticing a worried expression on her face, he was about to say something. However, she just broke down...

"Amber, wai---" he tried to say, before she disappeared from view, as he saw and heard the door slam shut. Feeling sorry about the mare's predicament, he slowly got out of his seat as he said, "Um... If you'll excuse me for a moment..." After that, he slowly began to approach the restroom, before stopping right outside the door. From the door, he could hear the mare's crying as he frowned from the whole ordeal. He then thought about trying to calm her down a little, but was worried.

*What if I say the wrong things...?* Electrobolt thought, concerned that he might only make things worse. *What if I wind up causing her more problems? Oh Celestia, what am I doing...* Nervously swallowing, he sat down at the door before lifting his rightmost forehoof, about to knock on the door before stopping right as his hoof was about to make contact with the door. *No... No I can't... But... I have to try...* Closing his eyes tight, he then knocked on the door.

"Um... Amber...? It's Electrobolt..." he spoke up, a slight nervous tone in his voice. "I... When I saw you run off... I was concerned... I..." He stopped suddenly, however, as he was suddenly at a shortage of words to say. "I, um..." Suddenly, he felt like beating himself up. *Dang it Electrobolt... Why did you even do this...?* With a sigh, he tried again. "What I mean is... I... I was wondering if... If there would be something I could try to do... To cheer you up..." Shaking his head, he scolded himself in his mind. *Gah, that... That just sounds too corny... Why did I even try to do this anyways...*

*BONK*

Pain. So much pain. Pain was everywhere, Sandweaver could only focus on trying not to spill his brain out of his nostrils. The stallion and Sunshine walked away, and from his peripheral vision Sandweaver could see some ponies approached him, but the pain prevented him from doing anything but gritting his teeth. He locked his legs. Slowly he could feel a magical build-up in his horn. The blasted stallion hit him right over his horn!

Celestia freaking damnit!

Sandweaver took a deep breath, and sneezed as hard as he could. The force was enough to propel him two feet away from the floor. "HAA~CHOO!"

On a brief instant the immediate area around him was writhed in blue flame. His fur was slightly singed in the process. After the rough landing he touched his head, and here there was, a sizeable lump now adorned his head.

"Sir, are you ok?"

"Of course I'm not okay! Where the hell-" Sandweaver yelled, but he stopped when his eyes finally focused on the trio. "Are you okay!? What happened!?"

Sandweaver quickly searched around the area for any medical kit. Train Station this big, there must be some first aid kir somewhere. Before he could run of, Sunshine cantered to the group, in her mouth she carried a red box with white cross. As she passed the kit to Sandweaver, he muttered a thanks under his breath. He turned to the three bloody stallions and signalled them to get inside the train. "Come on in!"

Sunshine chirped in, "sirs, the train's ready to leave. Y'all the last ones here." She visibly gagged as she looked closer at the wounded stallions. "Uh... Sure y'all don't want to stay here at the infirmary?"

Sandweaver tensed. He remembered the Royal Guards, the Salesmare, the necklace, the leaving train, and he put two and two together. "No time!" He said as he pushed the gray unicorn to the train, "I'll take care of them, don't worry about it!"

By the stars in the sky, I don't want to be here when the Royal Guards get here!, Sandweaver thought to himself.

Draco ran into the train quickly. He place Beat onto a chair along with his saddlebag "There we are. So Beat feeling better now?" Draco asked as he smiled at his friend. He was always alone maybe this was a good idea for once. "Well never thought I would get beat on by a crazy salesmare," draco said with a chuckle.

"Nope we were out drinking I flirted with the wrong mare. Jade here must have flirted with the wrong stallion and you well you passed out when you had one toi many" Draco said with a joking tone

"stallion?" Beat shook his head "anyways..."

"Oh and your welcome for that Beat because I used the last of my healing talismans realigning your spine and wounds," Draco said slightly.

"did you cure me with your talismans?, I thought they were just fine pieces of jewelry!" Beat said astonished.

"well..." Before Beat could said anything he felt Draco's back arching, he rapidly started to gallop to the train's door which looked to be ready to depart. "Whoaah! not so fast Draco!"

"I owe you one again Draco...it's strange how much you did for me in just a couple of hours of meeting me."

"Though I feel pain at the moment I could swear I would feel much more pain right now...but I can't move my limbs yet. I'm OK though."

"But I feel like there was nothing of a salesmare in her, I remember she saying something about being on a very important mission and that she didn't care about that necklace that she placed in my bag. How strange, even more strange though, is how skilled she was in fighting. She beat us up really quick. I'm sure she's not normal"

Sandweaver kept nudging Jade until he reached his seat on the train, the first aid kit in tow in his telekinesis. "We can worry about everything else later!"

After everyone's already on board, Sandweaver opened the first aid kit. He started tinkering around with a roll of gauze. With a flick of his telekinesis, Sandweaver gave the red pegasus a smaller white box.

Sandweaver looked at the broken form of Beat Spark. How could he managed to cripple himself like that?, he thought to himself.

Jade wandered into the train where he caught the later half of Beat's conversation with Draco:

Sandweaver stopped. He want to ask what happened to them, but thought better of it. He started cleaning Jade's various wounds. He whistled. "Whatever you guys did back there, don't do that again."

Without any warning, he doused Jade's wound with betadine.

"Don't look at me," Draco said as he looked at the ground. "This train is headed for Apploosa correct?" Draco asked he really didn't want to go back. He began to have some trouble breathing again "Now again" Draco said as he took out his inhalor and breathed in the medicine. He sat down across from Beat "Sorry if I couldn't do anything for you Beat,"

Jade shook his head and looked out the window for a bit, before he looked over at Beat Spark, still laying on the seat apparently paralyzed. "You...you sure you're going to be to ok? She did quite a number on you..."

"Yeah, let's go on a train ride! Nothing's gonna go wrong! Manehatten isn't even one of the stops!... Stupid, stupid, STUPID!!"

Amber mumbled quietly to herself while washing her face on the sink. She thought about jumping out the window when she had the chance, but thankfully she quickly disregarded the option.

"It's... It's all his fault... Anagram! He dragged us inside this train!" She continued.

After wiping her tears and calming down, she looked back at her reflection in the mirror. She reasoned for a second and then frowned, bashing her hooves against her head a few times.

"Ugh, what am I saying?! These ponies should be as worried and scared as I am right now!... I shouldn't be here weeping, and blaming on the others... What am I, a filly??" She turned off the tap. "Besides... It's just a city!... Right?..."

Amber slightly jumped in scare when she heard somepony knocking on the door. She sniffled once and regained her posture, but remained silent.

"Um... To cheer you up..."

Her frown suddenly turned into a smile without her noticing and more shivers ran through her body.

Heh... I guess I really am stupid.

Amber thought to herself before sniffling one last time, stuffing up her chest and slowly opening the door behind her to meet Electrobolt waiting outside.

"I'm alright... Sorry for making you worry." She grinned warmly while facing the floor, somewhat embarrassed.

I should also go and apologize to Anagram... She thought, eyeing the two other ponies from afar.

Electrobolt had remained sitting there, wishing he could have said things better, but even if he could it would most likely wind up the same way. Eventually, though, he heard the door starting to open up as he quickly got himself up on his hooves. Once the door was open, he saw Amber was smiling again, even though she was looking downwards. Perhaps what he had said was enough, or perhaps she just needed some time to calm herself down. Either way, Amber was feeling better and that was all that truly mattered to him.

"Hey, it's alright, Amber," the young colt spoke up with a gentle smile. "So, um... If you're feeling better, perhaps we could go back to the group..." He then looked back to Ganaram, and the other pony with him, before looking back to Amber, who was also looking at the two. Thinking that, perhaps she might like a bit more time to herself, if that's why she was eying the other ponies, he then said, "Or, um... If you don't feel ready to go back yet, we could go to a private room for a little... It's your choice... I just want to make sure you're feeling better..." He then looked away, feeling rather awkward about the whole situation. *What am I even saying, let alone doing...?*

Sandweaver snorted. "Easy there! Some wounds can't be treated magically, you might get infections from all those wounds." After a few seconds waiting for the stallion to calm down, Sandweaver slapped a small bandaid to cover a lone wound that was too large to left alone. "There, you will live tomorrow."

Jade shook his head and looked out the window for a bit, before he looked over at Beat Spark, still laying on the seat apparently paralyzed. "You...you sure you're going to be to ok? She did quite a number on you..."

Holy mother...

Sandweaver trotted closer to Beat Spark, his body still slumped on the chair. Draco was singing something from across the seat. Huh, what a weird pony, Sandweaver thought to himself. He noticed that Draco's wounds were almost non-existent, maybe something managed to heal him before he got here? Sandweaver shrugged. He prodded Beat Spark's front hoof, "you okay there, tough guy?"

"All aboard!"

The train slowly awoke from its slumber. Dozens of reinforced steel wheels moved in unison, dragging the lumbering machine forward. A trail of steam blew from the piston.

OOC: I guess the Canterlot is done for now?

"well, I'm rather curious what kind of mission she had behind. Anyways...somepony here has to explain why he got banished from Canterlot. Maybe Mr. Jade Flare knows the answer!" Beat said to the gray stallion while giving him an instigating look.

But soon he was interrumpted by the sand colored unicorn while he applied Betadine onto Jade's fur.

Beat moved his neck only at the impression of Jade's sudden reaction, but he reasumed his position. "I think I should be dead right now, but nothing can hold down Beat Spark! I'm going to be perfect very soon! ....as soon as I can move again I will take a shower and then wash my mane. Thankfully we are the only ponies in this car, I don't want anypony to see me like this.

But you haven't responded my question young colt..." Beat said to Jade Flare.

Meahwhile...

"Don't look at me," Draco said as he looked at the ground. "This train is headed for Apploosa correct?" Draco asked he really didn't want to go back. Beat looked at the sand colored unicorn. "are you going to cure me? even after I expressed my thoughts about your behaviour when we left the restaurant?"

Sandweaver's face instantly dropped. "No, I'm not going to cure you. I'm going to tender your muscles so I can boil you in a stew later," he said. "Now get yourself comfortable, I'm going to take a look at that wound on your head"

Before Sandweaver could do anything, Beat Spark spoke,

"Wait! Is this train ready to depart? but where are the other passengers? This mare Amber, that weirdo pegasus, and the green pony! " Beat looked at Draco who looked like he was worried about something "where's Nocturnal? they are going to miss the train!"

"They took the wrong train. Right now they should be on their way to Manehattan," Sandweaver nonchalantly said. He eyed a small fragment lodged on Beat Spark's scalp. It looked like white asphalt, the kind that usually used to pave the road in Canterlot. Sandweaver started to get suspicious. Seemingly unharmed Draco, Jade's head wound from blunt object, and a crippled Beat Spark, presumably from a direct hit from his back.

Just how many Royal Guards they killed before they got here? Or maybe they were having too much 'fun' with the salesmare or whatever? Sandweaver sighed. The train shook silently beneath them. None of my business, he thought to himself as he cleaned a small tweezers to pull the white debris.

"Brace yourself, this might hurt," Sandweaver muttered as he pointed the sharp tweezers to Beat Spark's head.

Since I'm one to write structurally complex posts, I've punctuated mine with dialogue. (Hope the quote codes don't derp...)

-----

"Just... shut up."

It's what he expected, and what he feared...

Ganaram took a step back and, feeling ashamed, he hid his face by turning around from plain view.

"Amber, wai--- Um... If you'll excuse me for a moment..."

Ganaram knew from past history that he was never the kind of pony who would easily get along. He also knew that if he tried to talk to somepony about it, he'd expect them to say that it's to be expected.

"Um... Amber...? It's Electrobolt..."

A confusing ordeal to those who tried to understand him, but emotionally draining if it meant shutting himself out.

"Yeah, let's go on a train ride! Nothing's gonna go wrong! Manehatten isn't even one of the stops!... Stupid, stupid, STUPID!!"

The sound of Amber's ramblings can be faintly heard all the way to him.

Ganaram turned back to one of the seats and instead of sitting down in it as usual, he crawled up into a ball up against the window.

He didn't want to think about what had happened thus far; Perhaps he should've stayed at home and did his trek by the air instead.

He wanted to stop thinking, even just so that he can mindlessly stare at the fast-moving world from the outside...

"Hey, it's alright, Amber. So, um... If you're feeling better, perhaps we could go back to the group... Or, um... If you don't feel ready to go back yet, we could go to a private room for a little... It's your choice... I just want to make sure you're feeling better..."

Besides, there were other ponies who could mediate such situations better than he ever could... How could the poor pegasus be the proverbial shoulder to cry on if he needed a shoulder to cry on himself...?

"No,... Just stop thinking about it... ..."

He turned around to look for Electrobolt, and glancing at the young colt from afar, he began to imagine once more: How a pony of his age (Ganaram himself) can still have an unstable emotional mindset, or at least that's how he saw it. He was mature enough, but maybe he wasn't emotionally mature... He didn't wanna look that way in front of anypony else, especially on a train full of other ponies.

Instead, he sat himself properly on the seat, but this time, cuddling his saddlebag like a pillow in which he half-buried his face in looking down.

He messed up big time.

"I hope the others (Jade, Beat, and company) are fairing well..."

Amber kept staring blankly at Ganaram from a distance, reasoning about everything and feeling rather guilty. She knew she wasn't the only pony in there in need of any emotional assistance. Yet, just a moment ago, she acted like the whole world was crumbling onto her, and only her. The "shut up" she shouted angrily at the pegasus was completely unnecessary, and now she felt the need to apologize.

After all, nopony in the group seemed comfortable with the idea of going to such unwanted place. The last thing they needed at that moment was a childish mare rolling on the floor like a filly. With a sigh, she decided to apologize right away.

"Or, um... If you don't feel ready to go back yet, we could go to a private room for a little... It's your choice... I just want to make sure you're feeling better..."

Amber suddenly snapped, blushing. She turned back to Electrobolt, smiling awkwardly.

"Heh... I, uh... I'm really alright now." She said, stuttering. "...But thank you anyway." She smiled, walking past the green pony and towards her seat, near Ganaram.

Approaching the grey pegasus, she could see that he was, indeed, looking awful.

Ugh... Now I've done it...

"Hey, uh... Anagram?..."

...that was exactly what I was going to ask. "Yeah. I wonder if they'll be ok? That teenage green pony, didn't look like he had a parental guardian with him."

"Talismans aren't magic they are made from alchemy. You see zebras don't use magic like you unicorns. I don't mean any offence to unicorns Jade. The art of alchemy is delicate. One wrong ingrediant and well I once tried it I got blown through a wall," Draco said with a chuckle.

"Heh... I, uh... I'm really alright now." She said, stuttering. "...But thank you anyway." She smiled, walking past the green pony and towards her seat, near Ganaram.

When Electrobolt heard Amber stuttering, he was wondering if she really was alright. Moving his head back to look at the mare again, he noticed that she was blushing...? How come she was blushing? And then when she thanked him, the mare gave a smile before walking off towards the rest of the group. He just stood there, slightly dumbfounded and unable to say anything. The first thing that entered his mind, however, was, *Wow... She has a nice smile...*

His face then began to turn a light shade of red, as he began to feel some warmth on his cheeks. *Wait, what am I doing...? I should get back to the rest of the group, as well...* So after shaking his head and calming himself down, he began to return to the group. However, what he had seen had worried him: Ganaram in a state of disarray. Looking over to Amber, he saw that she was worried about him as well. Even though he wanted to try and say something, he could think of nothing. So, for now, he decided to sit back down and leave Amber to try and comfort Ganaram, help him feel better about himself.

Jade turned his attention back to Draco. "That's just making me more intrigued. Besides, from what I understand, the fundamentals of alchemy uses a lot of magical principals, anyway. Just not a lot of the energy-based spellcraft that makes up Unicornian and Griffon thaumaturgy."

There was an awkward pause. "...So...how 'bout that Appleloosa? That's where we're going next, right?"

Draco nodded as he looked out the window "Aye it seems like it," Draco's voice was uneasy. He tensed up slightly as he wanting to run. But he had to stay so he could watch over his friends. He sighed as he laid his head down onto his front whooves. "Sorry about my additude fellows," Draco apologised.

"they lost the train? and how you can keep so quiet about it? all of their things are back there" he replied to the sand colored pony.

"Brace yourself, this might hurt," Sandweaver muttered as he pointed the sharp tweezers to Beat Spark's head.

"aaaaouuuch!" Beat whined a bit as the sand colored pony was doing his thing. "I'm OK. I'm a strong fellow. I can take it".

Beat noticed Jade Flare ignoring him. He gave him a sort of mean look How does he think he is, does he knows that I break him in half like a toothpick? Beat thought to himself.

Beat looked back at the pony that was curing his wounds. "BTW my name is Beat Spark, what's yours? ...and please be honest, do I need stitches?"

"aaaaouuuch!" Beat whined a bit as the sand colored pony was doing his thing. "I'm OK. I'm a strong fellow. I can take it".

"If I recalled correctly, none of them are foals," Sandweaver answered to both ponies. "Electrobolt will be fine. At least one of them knows where we are going next. We will leave their belongings on Appaloosa so they can get it when they arrived there after us."

Sandweaver washed Beat Spark's wound, a lot of dirt came out. He continued with picking the debris out and covering the wound with bandages. There was nothing he could do to Beat Spark's crippleness, but at least the blood will stop pouring.

"Besides, I'm pretty sure Nocturnal is with them. Four adult ponies can take care of themselves," Sandweaver said.

Beat looked back at the pony that was curing his wounds. "BTW my name is Beat Spark, what's yours? ...and please be honest, do I need stitches?"

"Nope. You only got lots of abrasions here, nothing deep. Even if you do need some stitches, i can't help you there," Sandweaver said as he finished covering the wound, "anyway, you can call me Sandweaver". With a simple knot he fastened the bandages around Beat Spark's head. "There, all done!"

Sandweaver looked to Draco, he could not see any visible wounds. He couldn't do anything to internal injuries, so he shrugged it off and skipped him. After he packed all the medical supplies inside the box, he put it on a chair and trotted to the bathroom. He yawned.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to wash myself."

He entered the bathroom, leaving the other stallions to their own devices.
