"Yes, I know i was there using my invisibility spell I would have helped them but the invisibility spell puts a lot of strain on my body. Anyway you need to calm down and stop worrying about them, you did the right thing running back here." Letrix said trying to comfort Star Rain.

Cherry Blossom walked closer and gave her a confused look. "A-Aren't you worried about what might happen?" she asked as she pulled over a chair and sat down. "I-I would also like to ask why you even like me. If that's o-okay with you." she gave a little smile and just stared at the floor.

 

"Well... Yes, I'm a bit apprehensive about other ponies finding out about this, but... Even if they do, what could they possibly do to us?" She put a hoof on Cherry's shoulder. "It's ok. And to answer your question, I love you because you're beautiful in both your looks and your heart and you make me feel... Something special."

Cherry Blossom blushed a little and tried to look away from Vinyl Blade. "I-It doesn't matter what they do me me, but you could be in serious t-tension." she frowned, thinking that she may also be made fun of and insulted by other Pegasai. "Doesn't it affect you that I'm a Pegasus?"

Pleasantly, Martin woke up to a beautiful mare to his side, enveloping each other in their arms. Without opening his eyes, he softly kissed her on the forehead and said "Did you sleep well?" he moved a bit to rest his head on top of hers.

 

"Of course I did. And I owe you thanks for keeping me happy and warm."

She hugged him closely as his head rested on hers.

 

(OOC I'd just have them knock out Saph.)

 

Sapphire woke up to a horrible headache. Last she remembered she was attempting to knock some of the guards out then a sharp pain at the back of her head. "Uhh.." She mumbled as she stood up from her cell, she saw a pony in a hood talking to Fire. 'Damn, he still got captured.' She thought to herself.

 

Fire Blade heard Sapphire's moan.

"And she still got captured. Great. Now I did nothing. That just makes me feel a whole lot better."

"Sapphire, are you ok?"

"I'm the leader of a kingdom. What could they possibly do to me? Maybe in this society it should affect me that you're a pegasus, but I don't think who you love should be dictated by race. And with this alliance between our two nations, it might even be socially acceptable. Look, I love you and that's all that matters right now."

Cherry Blossom nodded and just smiled. "Well, I-I really like the letter you sent me and I am very grateful your highness," she said. There was a little bit of an awkward silence, but Cherry Blossom just looked around the room. "I really like how you spruced up the r-room here."

"Thank you. And, please, just call me Vinyl." She looked out of the window and noticed the sun beginning to come over the horizon. "Wow, isn't it beautiful? I can't believe we stayed up through the night though. I'm going to get some sleep, you're welcome to stay here. There's plenty of room on the bed."

"O-Oh okay, Vinyl," Cherry Blossom giggled a little and looked out the window. "Yes and it's a wonderful gift from the Unicorns." she yawned with her hoof covering her mouth. "I-I think I'll pass. I am a lower class pony so I don't really have permission to sleep here."

"I'm sure nopony would mind, but if you want to go, then that's your choice. If you're leaving, then I guess I'll see you later. If you're staying, then well... The bed is ready." She rolled over on the bed and covered herself with the sheets. She was so tired that within a matter of moments she was asleep

Sapphire saw Fire. "Yeah, I guess, just a headache." She replied to him as she continued to look around the room. "Who is that?" She asked Fire pointing towards Windscar.

 

A unicorn wearing the uniform of a high ranking officer heard the report of Sapphire's capture. "Send this letter to Vinyl at once." He instructed the designated messenger unicorn handing her a letter.

"Yes sir." The unicorn replied as she focused her magic. The letter disappeared in a cloud of grey mist.

 

Next to Vinyl's bed a letter appeared sealed in an envelope marked with the seal of the Unicorn military. There were two red words written on it that said 'URGENT' and 'CLASSIFIED', if Vinyl were to read the letter it would say.

 

 

 

Empress Vinyl Blade,

We regret to inform you that Commander Sapphire Shine was captured during a reconnaissance mission in the earth pony's territory, from what I am informed another member of her team was also confirmed captured, two other ponies are MIA. One of the returning ponies said that they were storing food in a cave. We request your instruction on how to go about this situation.

Star Rain is laying down in a clinic, covered with bandages and an ice pack. She was drawing stuff and writing in a diary. She wrote today's events down in blue ink, and added pictures of what occurred. After that, she picked up a spellbook about medical spells and began to read it out of curiosity.

Cherry Blossom's legs and wings were feeling a bit exhausted so she went ahead and climbed into the bed. She jumped suddenly when a letter magically appeared next to Vinyl Blade. "W-What is that?" she asked. She yawned again with her hoove covering her mouth.

Vinyl woke up when Cherry jumped. "Huh? Oh that's just..." She looked at the bold, red lettering on the envelope. "One second." She got out of bed and picked up the letter. As she read it, she paced around the room. "Oh... Well this is both good and bad news. We have a better idea of where they're keeping the food, but several of my ponies are either missing or captured." She sat down at the desk and wrote a letter back to them and sent it.

After debriefing Letrix decided to visit Star Rain to see if she was going to be okay. A doctor took Letrix to the Star Rain's room and there Letrix saw Star Rain reading a book on medical spells. "So rookie, how are you feeling?" Letrix asked her curiously.

Sapphire saw Fire. "Yeah, I guess, just a headache." She replied to him as she continued to look around the room. "Who is that?" She asked Fire pointing towards Windscar.

 

"I don't know. She just came up and started talking to me and asking questions. And if she really was a military pony," he glared at Windscar. "She would most likely have a military uniform on. Tell me, miss, who are you and what are you doing here?"

He knew he was being blunt, but he felt like he needed to.

Sapphire studied the pony in front of her cell. Her stance was different from a regular earth pony, her hooves were not planted firmly on the ground. "Yes, who are you?" Sapphire asked Windscar in a suspicious tone.

 

The letter appeared before Algid. As he read it he was already walking towards the barracks. "Alright everypony listen up, Commander Sapphire is currently captured by those uncouth earth ponies, we need to be ready to take her back. I want everypony to be ready for deployment on a moments notice. Also put the entire unicorn territory on high alert, triple the guard and be prepared for the worst." He announced to the ponies at the barracks when he arrived.

Several of the guard immediately left the barracks the moment Lt commander Algid finished his announcement. The word spread quickly and the guards started to move to their positions.

One of the guard approached Surge and his party. "I'm sorry sir, you will have to be escorted back out of unicorn territory. This is for your own safety. Your weapons will be returned at the border" The guard told the group of earth ponies. Several other armed guards waited to escort them to the border.

 

(OOC Heading out, any other unicorn RPers can control the guards while I'm gone.)

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

Velnir looked at the guard, then at Fatigue, having a bad feeling that he was about to get them in trouble. He put his med kit on his back and stepped between the two. "Alright then, if you would be so nice as to deliver a message to your leader requesting that she see us, over a matter of peace, we would be grateful."

The guard remained where he was. He was suspicous of the party trying to resist, but he listened to the Velnir. "She will be notified, but I have my orders, you are to be escorted back to the border. It is up to her whether or not to contact you regarding this matter." He replied to Velnir.

The other guards watched the group, still waiting to escort them to the border.

Well there is no need to be rude. Its not my fault your locked up. she snapped back at him. Maybe next time ill just walk by and let you rot. And yes i am military. I dont sleep in my uniform. For a unicorn your not all that bright. Walks over to Sapphire's cell. Well i never a female unicorn would get her hooves bloody as well. But maybe you saw him. Where you brought in by a large green pony with stripes? If so do you know where he went? And who i am is of no importance to either of you. All you need to know is that im a guard of the EPK under General Surge. But i just want to know if you two were the ones who killed the guards.

 

Surge was starting to lose his patients. He was shocked at the way Fatigue had calmed down. But if fatigue was calm things were not going to end well. Just as he heard the announcement go through the city and the guard approached him and said they need to leave. He had had enough but would not let the unicorns see him lose his cool. Very well then. I see i have done nothing but waist my time coming here. But i will honor your request and leave. But i still wish to speak to your leader when they return. But next time they shall come to my kingdom. Velinr Fatigue lets go. As they get to the city gates and get their weapons back surge looks to fatigue as the gates close behind them. Fatigue....you will have your fun in due time....Wait what?? You mean i can....In due time.....But for now just be ready for anything.

"I was. And currently, I don't regret it. They were leading us into some kind of trap, right? And secondly, you would have at least put on a uniform before walking around if you were in the military. So why are you not in uniform?"

He glared at her again.

"And for the second time, NO! We did not see a large green foul earth Pony!!"

"No, I was knocked unconscious and dragged to this horrid cell by some of your guards, at least our holding cells are not as dreadful as this. I have not seen a green pony with stripes." Sapphire replied to Windscar quite annoyed by her comment. Sapphire knew this pony wasn't of any importance yet, she simply went back to the bed in her cell and lay there.

 

The guards escorted the group all the way to the border. As they arrived they handed back the weapons to the group.

"So what's going to happen now? I heard there's going to be a lot more protection now that the Commander was caught", she said to Letrix. Fire Blade became pissed at her comment about blood lust. He didn't really want to be hurt too badly, but he would admit to anything he had done. He didn't believe that she was part of the military, but she was gone before he could mention that she wouldn't tell anyone that she was part of a stealth group if she really was part of it. He returned to his bed.

"Sapphire, to be honest, I'm sorry you got caught for my actions. I'll get us, or at least you, out somehow."

Cherry Blossom sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. "Is this t-the 'assignment' that I've been hearing about?" she asked, now staring at Vinyl Blade. If this continues, I'm sure a war will be declared by somepony soon. It may even be today, but I wouldn't want that to happen. she thought.
