I JUST HAD AN IDEA FOR THE FOLLOW UP

 

Okay, so like, everypony is in their 20s, regardless of created age. (This is so marriage/engagement is an option.) During the camping rp, one pony who is in a relationship finds one of those heart-seperating locket things, puts a picture of them and their lover in it, and seperates it so it each of them has a pic of the other forever.

 

In the new one, the locket is reunited. In a twisted turn of events, the couple breaks up and seperates the locket. This unleashes a threat to Equestra. Closing the locket will stop bringing more of them, but will not defeat the threat. Only one problem; the locket only comes together when the two ponies with their pictures in the locket truly love each other, so the broken up couple has to come back together in order for the threat to stop coming while everypony else fights the threat

The plot sounds good but i think you need to rethink the intro a bit more i mean Equestria being threatened by destruction which can be stopped by the power of true love sounds a bit unnecessary , i am not saying the idea it self is bad but it needs to have more though in it other then a simple locket.

It's a magical locket, but it could basically be like the crystal heart where it looks really simple but has a huge backstory.

And remind me again, how was Queen Chrysalis stopped? By the power of love.

 

Sorry, I know the plot was a bit weak, not trying to criticize you or anything. But yeah, I thought it could maybe be a start.
