Satsuki Kiryuin 1,155 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 From my thoughts, I get quite nervous wearing brony clothing and accessories outside, but I am quite shy and very paranoid about what others think, so it's probably just me. ~Felicity~ @OtarineMusic | Otty's Facebook | Otty's Youtube | Otty's Soundcloud | Otty's Bandcamp
Dusty Soul 2,613 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 My greatest fear as a brony is the community imploding on itself and disappearing quickly. Starshine 16,335 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 Our greatest fear? Having the Season 5 degenerated into what the pony used to be in G3,5. Newborn Cuties in Ponyville! Betcha the resulting chaos would be enough to make Discord shudder in joy.
silvadel 1,393 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 Pinky and the Brain and Elmyra. That is the biggest fear. I remember Pinky and the Brain and they utterly murdered the show with Elmyra. Silvadel, the Pegasus of Insight.
linnyc 22 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 I would hate to have people find out I'm a Brony >.< I told this one girl, and she posted on Facebook "When adults watch My Little Pony smh" I just don't want people to think that I'm super intense like watching it 24/7 or something. I also would hate to have people think that all Bronies are cloppers.
OkBuddy 586 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 I think a brony's worst fear is for the show to end and for the fandom to die. I certainly wouldn't want this whole brony community to be just another fad. 1 I'm a Y2K Survivor™
Titan Rising 2,156 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 Hmm... welll... soap, vegetables, not drinking soda, exercise, everything that is categorically listed and identified to be a "phobia", and everyone who isn't a progressive na 'm just kidding. Their real fear is snakes, and planes.
~Asuka <3~ 867 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 My greatest fear is for my mom to find out that I'm this into the show. She knows I like it, but she doesn't know I have this account, or that I draw pictures (not clopping material, mind you). If she found out, she'd never let it go. I'm already teased by my parents as is, and that would only make it much, much worse. 2 #1 Asuka fanboy. Signature created by Thunder Bolt. Shanks 10,816 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 I suppose my greatest fear would be the show deteriorating in quality much like far too many have, the season 3 opening wasn't exactly very encouraging but it is too early to start to go into full blown panic mode. I don't really care if people know I like MLP or not, if someone wants to be a hater I will just laugh at them and be on my merry way. 1 Rarity Get's Cockroaches
GreatPonyNui 6 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 The show, fandom, franchise and even memories being pulled out of every single person's brain. Then all equines going out of existence and memory so their is not even the POTENTIAL of it ever coming back. This would probably be the most terrible possibly.
Rolls Royce 606 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 For me, it would also have to be the show ending and the fandom disappearing entirely. I highly doubt the fandom will cease to exist, when that sad day does come and the show ends, I think bronies will continue to make pony related fanfics, songs, maybe even full animated episodes. I don't worry much about haters, I like to mess around with them. 1 Signature credit to Gone AirbourneXbox Live - Sir Trollestia Steam - Sir_Trollestia Wii U - SirTrollestia
featherheart 67 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 Nothing. I know some fear being found out, and in these days if your found out... everypony knows about it. Ha, I see it as a huge shout out, let them know, the more they know the more curious they will get. In a way its like a pond, throw a small stone in it and watch the ripples get bigger and bigger, and then disappear.
Abstract 832 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 That the show would become a shell of itself in time, instead of ending with some pride and decency. I will be sad to see MLP end, but better it burn it in flames than fade away into a pile of crap. I just hope the writers/producers/whatever realize this, and give MLP the farewell it deserves when the time comes. 2 "Let the steel of my resolve be not bested by the sum of my fears." DoctorWhovian1902 596 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 Yeah, the older generations have affected a few people I've told about the show, they associated the old with the new. The news mocking us really is immature on their part (irony, right?). I think if cloppers were associated with the majority of bronies, that might make things harder, as already the fandom can be hard to explain. Okay, personally, my worst fear is that if many people I know found out, they would see me differently and wouldn't give it a chance, so I'd be screwed socially, basically. I'm working on that, though, I've already brought a few people to the fandom.
Gone Airbourne 21,977 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 The fear of not being to talk to all you awesome people anymore or the forums shutdowns forever or something like that. That would be my answer!
ping111 124 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 Shunning. As a lot of us are very hardcore introverts, we cling on to the handful of close friends we have, If they find out against our will, and shun us and refuse any sort of apology, and then they spread the word, we will not have even one person in our life we can come home to and feel happy that you have them. I mean, family, fine, but they're not much comfort if you literally have no friends. Despite my social ineptitude, I often hatch scenarios where they found out, and the dregs of my social life would be totally gone. I would have no-one, and I need to belong somewhere. Sarajevo 124 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 I agree... the whole clopping assumption needs to stop, come on the community is based on an innocent TV show... as if we would ever aim to destroy that image, we just love the show because of what it is!! I don't think I'd be grounded, but my parents would definitely have something to say to me, if you know what I mean. Considering that one of the stories is a self-insert HiE fic doesn't help much either.

Retro*Derpy 3,200 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 (edited) Well everyone knows the show well end, but I think(I'm not speaking for everyone) that the greatest fear is that the show will end HORRIBLY. The ending will be terrible, the CMC will never get their cutie marks, and with the horrible ending, it will also be a cliffhanger. At least, it is my biggest fear. Zygen 6,066 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 (edited) That doesn't exactly speak for every single brony... And so I can't speak for anyone else, but I think a brony's greatest fear would be for MLP to end/die out. For me, though, my greatest fear is obviously for AJ to still be basically having as much personality as a background pony--which is technically already happening. I agree with clarity pretty much fully.I think some bronies. have different fears then others, not all fears apply to all bronies. but I do think that the death of MLP would be a pretty wildly shared fear. My fear is probably if the series ends this season. I want it to go a couple more seasons after this, I haven't got enough MLP yet .(I'm on my 4th watch of the whole show .) Oh and considering i'm a closet brony someone finding out about this would be one of my bigger fears as of now.. Edited November 15, 2012 by Zygen Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig! DoctorWhovian1902 596 November 15, 2012 Share November 15, 2012 Parents can be tough some times, and I think they've judged the show far too quickly. If My Little Pony wasn't in the name, I think they'd be fine with me watching it. But since it is, y'know. Gah, it's frustrating. Same, I showed them a trailer for the show, that I thought for sure would change their minds... But they said it looked like something "12 year old girls would like" and that it was like "Lord of the Rings for kids". I'm willing to bet the same, that if it hadn't had "My Little Pony" in the name they would have been more open-minded. I then tried to explain the show, but they wouldn't listen. Sometimes my parents are the most dense people ever, I swear. Anyways, this has become a topic of mocking me with (mainly for my dad). This really doesn't help me in the fact that for my upcoming birthday or Christmas I want a Fluttershy plushie. Really not helping my cause or confidence here.
