Fluttershutter 3,663 September 2, 2025 Share September 2, 2025 I started reading this. Old school sword and sorcery. I've read the Conan and the Kull stories. Robert E Howard was a really prolific author who died at 30!

Cash In 23,502 September 9, 2025 Share September 9, 2025 The Fourth Protocol - Forsyth I've heard there's a film adaptation. Might give it a watch once I'm done with the book.... 3 At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do. Fluttershutter 3,663 September 14, 2025 Share September 14, 2025 A sci-fi novel called The Inverted World. It's really weird. Dimensions just seem to be stretching and distorting, including time. I don't know why yet. 4

What do you think? Spoiler Like Helward I have a very hard time accepting the ending. So this energy source warps their perceptions. Makes the sun look weird, makes people appear taller or shorter. Okay. What about the guys who spend a lot of time "north" and age more rapidly. Is that a group hallucination shared by most of the city who don't even know of the phenomenon? Helward was gone from the city for two years when he went "south". What was he doing? Wandering around in a fugue state eating local food? And why did the women's clothes stop fitting if their bodies weren't actually changing? Did he imagine all that?

MidnightFire1222 2,345 September 28, 2025 Share September 28, 2025 Um...I'm reading an adult book series. The Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian. I do NOT suggest reading these books unless you're over 18, as they are full of adult content. I can't stop you of course (I read one of the books when I was like...15, 16?) but don't say I didn't warn you. 2 Come and check out my shop! Hope you'll stop on by! Dreambiscuit 12,662 October 5, 2025 Share October 5, 2025 I Would Like to Travel the World by Guy Gaucher, chronicling some of the modern miracles attributed to the intercession of St. Therese of Lisieux. It also details the processes of her becoming a Doctor of the Church as well as healings and conversions associated with her worldwide relics tour. As with all books associated with ‘One of the greatest saints of modern times’ it’s a great read and hard to put down. 4
