Always:

phone

ipod

headphones

water bottle (I get thirsty a lot more frequently than most people do)

Usually:

wallet (I sometimes leave it behind so I won't be able to impulse buy anything)

knife (basically whenever there's room in my pockets and I'm not going somewhere I could get in trouble for having it)

flash drive with various stuff on it (when I think I might need it)

Dr. Pepper (when I have it)

DS (when there's even a slight chance that I might have to sit around doing nothing while waiting for someone/something, and I have room in my pockets)

And why the hell is everyone carrying knifes? O.o

Because I don't have a concealed carry license and a 9-mil yet ;)

Joking, of course. Knives are extremely useful in many situation.

The flashlight is now busted so I'm in search of a new one. The throwing knives I rarely carry. They aren't terribly practical, but the sheath below them holds all three and its profile is so low that you could even forget you had them in your pocket. I always carry the folding knife. Every time I leave it at home I need to open something either for myself or somebody else. I also carry my phone, a Galaxy SIII. It's not in the picture because I don't have a camera or another device containing one.

Depending on where I'm going, I might also carry one of the following:

My personal preference is the revolver.

wait how the hell are you getting away with carrying knifes?, in the UK you can get arrested for just possession

Because it's not illegal in America or Canada to carry a pocket knife. The only exception being switchblades, and the laws regarding those vary from state to state; as far as I know switchblades are illegal throughout all of Canada. My understanding was that only blades over 3 inches were prohibited from public carry in the UK.

Because I don't have a concealed carry license and a 9-mil yet

Go for a .45.

I far as I know about the UK from a video someone from there posted:

It has to be under 2.5

It can't lock in any way

It can't be anything that could be called "tactical"

It can't be one hand deployable

and you can still get arrested because even with that said, what constitutes a concealed weapon is left up to the cops discretion.

All I carry is my wallet and my watch. Well, I actually wear my watch in case you were wondering. It's not really necessary to carry a gun here in Germany. However, if some kind of epic pony war happens in the near or distance future it might not be such a bad idea...

I got a picture finally, would have a handgun, but in TN you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun and apply for a carry permit. There are no concealed carry permits in TN, only carry permits allow both open and concealed carry. I love my state.

Pencil

Pen

Pocket Watch (For keeping time in STYLE!)

Lead

Flashdrive

Glasses case

Random notes I write to myself.

In Virginia one can open carry without a permit. It's rarely done though, the only exception being out in the boonies where I came from. Some permits are also good across several states, so you might want to look into what other states honor a permit from Tennessee.

You carry an 1851 revolver? Dimitri, you are the most badass person I've every come across. I've never shot live ammo from my musket or pistol. Now, by 1851, do you mean reproduction, or are you firing live ammo from a 160 year old gun?

Wallet

Phone

.....

Sucks when you don't have a car or can't live on the campus until next Semester. Either way, I don't need much. I can pretty much survive without the flashy technology/gadgets and just need something to communicate with.

I use a reproduction for firing (Extremely realistic and antique looking), but I also have a genuine one from 1851.....used as a decor piece in a glass box on the wall in my house.

Would you know what caliber to use for an 1862 ( I think) pocket pistol?

Funny, I tried blank firing my pistol one day. I use cream of wheat to keep the powder from pouring out of the chambers. Well, after about half a year of just sitting there, the cream of wheat was useless and I had a heck of a time XD.

Depends, maybe a. 36

XD that's damn hilarious. Once when I was firing my Springfield my dog knocked into me and I ended up shooting out a window on my house.

Hmm, I need to starting shooting my musket with live ammo. I assume it's a .58 caliber.

Hmm, is there a place to get minie balls for ammunition? That's the ammo every one should use! It flattens out as it makes contact and can turn bone into splinters. Modern bullets pierce, the minie ball punches its way through!

Minie ball is an utterly terrifying thing. Smashes the bone, SMASHES THE FREAKING BONE!

I get my ammo from a supplier who lives in Virginia. Costs me a lot, but I rarely ever spend any money...so it's all good.

sweet. does your reproduction fire the original .36 cal or does it use a more modern caliber cartridge? any pics of the pair together?

Sadly no pictures, my brother ruined my camera and MANY pictures when he dropped them into a creek during a hike.....

It can fire the original, but I trust the modern better.

But are they minie balls? I would carry my side arm, but I'm only 14 :(. I would carry it to reenactments but:

1. Not old enough to fire firearms (execpt on the less stricter events)

2. Musicians didn't carry fire arms (God knows why...)

Changed:

Got a new wallet(with a chain so I don't forget it somewhere. again)

Another wallet I keep stuff I don't use a a lot in to keep my main wallet clean.

The same Kershaw Crown(3.75in blade, liner lock It's really nice knife for $15 at Wal-Mart)

A Swiss Army Knife(don't know if I'll keep carrying this)

A cheap multi-tool that kinda looks like a old Leatherman,

My Phone(Galaxy Axiom, great little phone)

My Keys(still with little knife)

Cheap light(I keep Duracells in it and it's bright for being a cheapy)

If anyone is wondering about the coin on my Wallet, it's a half-dollar I found in the form of a necklace, but I carry on there as a charm because it was minted the year my late sister was born.
