Take two ounces of MS paint, add an essence of Gimp...

Okay so,

Out of boredom&despair (and desire for procrastination), I made a new blog entry and Miss @ told me out of her kindness why I didn´t make a treat just for that picture...

Well, I´m still procrastinating, so why not?

I was curious (yeah, my curiosity core is huge.) what could be drawing in MS paint like...I mean, using the spray and all. And as I´ve said before - out of boredom, despair and other stuff, I made this.

Yeah, my little miss Sunshine again.

But when it comes to digital art, I like blurry&watercolour-like pictures.. so I didn´t like it much. I decided to use a blur tool in GIMP and in the end.. well, it´s my avatar, after all...

How charming, and the effort you've applied is commendable. I salute your subsistence and offer you a muffin. Let us partake in merry-making until the sun subsides.

And what luck. Just three days ago, I made an image using the same technique (mouse, Paint, spray tool). For those so inclined, I've included the image below.

Nice job. The top one reminds me of perhaps the art produced during the Turn of the Century (I can't pin down which exact art movement). With the blur, it looks "dreamy." The blur also looks like the top version right after someone smacks you in the balls.

I like both styles. Each gives a unique feel to the picture.

Oh, and by the way, props for the procrastination. It's one of my favorite pastimes.

Thank you very much. :)

Procrastination is amazing. I don´t think I´ve been doing anything else recently.. Sad.

Wow... They both are really nice, as each gives it's own representation of each picture. The first one is like a rough old style, then the next is a modern wave style.

Thanks. :)

Thank you, Sir. :) Your muffin offering... such a good manners!

What a coincidence.. (or a kind of mind-stalking, maybe? )

Aw, top hat.. Your drawing is just marvelous! The colours remind me of cotton candy. ^_^

Thank you. :) About the style... you mean fauvism?

Also, the balls similarity cracked me up.

Holy... Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

You took a really good drawing of yours, Miss Coco, and you made it better.

And I must add that your OC is cute.

The blur tool makes it look natural. It's a nice touch.

Young mare, I say that your work is exquisite. Keep making more art, Suntouched Coco!!

Yap, bluring all the way! Blur can make anything look better. :)

Thank you, I´ll try. ;)

Thank you, Nightfall. :) Well, she´s a pony. How can a pony be uncute? :P

But I´m glad for her ofc. ;)

Oh, there are some uncute ponies out there. What I really meant was, um... That, er- I may like her.

Wait a minute. She looks like an older Apple Bloom in the edited version.

I really can't decide which of the two pics I like more :)

Awesome job and a really beautiful picture of a beautiful OC, well done! :D

Thank you, Sirs. :)

Nightfall: Well, yes, but she looks like that because it´s only a portrait, not full-body paining. Wings sure make a difference. :P

And Apple Bloom doesn´t have freckles. :P

I'll bet she looks even better when there is a full-body painting. I mean, um...

Yeah, so... could we have a, er- full-body painting soon?

I´ll see what I can do. Right now, I´ve just returned home (it´s 23:43) and I got to make a protocol for biology labs&study for tommorow´s test, also I get up at 5 am so.. so I don´t think I´ll do it like in a minute
