I was so shocked when it became apparent that A K Yearling was actually just Daring Do. I'm not sure if even now I'm that fond of that reveal. I don't think it works that well. :okiedokielokie:

I noticed this too. I think she was probably practicing simple little spells while she was up in her room. Nothing major, just sparks or easy spells. I liked the show's little nod to it.

I was really excited about Sunset Shimmer's backstory and potential at the beginning of the film, but once you find out the writers aren't going to give us anything good with it, it was a little disappointing. She had so much potential but imo she's my least favourite.

Helping Twilight Win The Crown is a really wonderful song. But I looooove the remixed intro! It's so catchy.

Twice. That's not because I didn't like it though; on the contrary. I ended up wating forever to try it because I wasn't sure if I'd like it, and since that first time I just haven't really had the chance.

At first I was very against the whole thing. I didn't want them to change Twilight's personality. Then when I watched MMC I was a little more impressed (I loved the musical numbers; Celestia's song omg) but as it was so rushed I didn't have time to adjust. Once I watched the start of the fourth series though, I realised that everything was going to be fine. I think Twilight is great as an alicorn, she suits it now. She still has all the same little quirks that make her wonderful and it's been some good character development for her.

"Reformed" Discord is my favourite. He still keeps all his quirks, humour and mischief whilst pointing Twilight in the right direction. He doesn't give too much help which keeps with his character.

@@~Chaotic Discord~, Your posts in this thread make my brain so, so happy. I completely agree with you. That tree is clearly very ancient. I do wonder if Discord is as old as the tree, or if Discord's personification (dragonification) of Chaos is something which has been handed down to him, in a way. I always used to believe in my headcanon that Celestia and Discord were polar opposites. Celestia was the personification of Harmony and Discord the personification of Chaos. Celestia and Luna "rose up" to defeat him when he was already well-established, but (especially with the recent flashback proof) it is clear that Celestia and Luna were already alicorns and therefore already had strong magical prowess. They could (and I believe they are) as old as each other. If Celestia didn't create the Elements and apparently didn't have a hoof in creating them either, but merely borrowed them, it is a possibility that Discord is a result of some other, more ancient power, that he in turn "borrowed" or had bestowed upon him in some way. I know that it's a little far-reaching and I don't have anything to base this on other than my own personal head-canon, but I still love thinking of Celestia and Discord as being completely equal opposites and this enables me to continue doing so. Also, somepony else in this thread said that they thought Discord must know a lot about the Tree of Harmony. True, he planted Seeds of Doubt to try and destroy the tree, but I don't understand how he seemed oblivious to the Element's power before being turned to stone the first time.

I'd really love another Christmas episode. I bucking love Christmas. Or, if not Christmas, something wintery like Winter Wrap Up. I love occasions. <3

I never liked the first one, and the second was only slighty better, so this is my favourite so far. I thought the others were a little tacky, but this is sleek, beautiful and simple. It sums up our Twilight pretty well!

I thought this was amazing. I loved the flashbacks; my sister and I were only talking the day before we saw this how wonderful it would be to find out more of Celestia and Luna's history. The Luna-banisment scene made me cry; seeing that Celestia, normally so stoic and calm, cried the whole time she used the elements against her sister, I had tears coming down my face. Like everypony else, I can't wait to see what's in that box. I have a little theory that the elements' power melded together to create some sort of artefact which is made up of all the different elements. I am pretty certain that each member of the mane six will have some challenge to overcomew which will lead to them gaining their key. I'm not sure I'm keen on Twilight's magic-boom at the end, it was a little cheesy. But, I guess it was a nice way of including her in the celebration. Celestia admitting to Twilight that each SSC was a day of sadness for her up until this one was a nice touch - it shows that Celestia feels like she can open up to Twilight about her feelings now that she is also a Princess. Not to mention all the new angles, perspectives and animation techniques which have been shown off in this episode. It was just gorgeous. Akafjasodkjsdsa I just loved this episode. It was amazing.

I love doing the RD one at night before bed. Only thing is, because I've been doing a lot of lates at work, I end up falling asleep now. I need to start doing this in the daytime.

I can see Twilight needing more specialist help, but I also can't see Spike going anywhere. He and Twilight are such close friends, they will always be together. I think he will give her help in the basic assistant duties he always has, and I'm sure she will seek his advice like she always has.

There is a meetup where my local brony community will be watching it but I'm working. Is this forum doing the stream again? If so what time will that be?

I seem to remember that when the Wonderbolts fly at high speeds, they leave trails in the air similar the Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash's. Some members have dark, cloud-like trails (Soarin', I think, whose mane is also dark) and one has a cloudy one with lightning crackling in it. I think the trails depend soley on the ponie's colour scheme.
