[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

"It's alright, I only need a pinch," she says, coming out from under the generator. It seems to be making much less noise now, and her grey pelt is streaked with oil. She grins, wiping sweat of her face, and levitates the ingredients. Walking back to the glassware, she turns on a hotpad, which looked new, and crushed the apples in a pan with a flat piece of metal. Putting that in a beaker, while carefully straining the pulp, she throws in the rest of the ingredients.

'Good thing she didn't need anymore cinnamon.'

Mal went next to her and watched her work with the ingredients he had brought her.

'Even dirtied with oil and everything she looks amazing.'

Mal couldn't help but smile. "So, Radio, what are you doing with those things anyway?"

She produced the beaker, now filled with apple-flavored liquid. "I give to you, apple cider! And now that I know howto make it, I can make as much as I want! It's so much better than... It's better than... Darn it, I still have to reaserch radiation," she looks at her hooves, "I wish I was an Apple pony," she mumbles, then looks up atyou. She smiles, "Ohh, but you have been a great help, and lab assistants must get paid." She steps in close, and kisses you on the check, smearing some grease on your face by accident. She smiles at you.

Whirl Wake let it go. He had just met this stallion, anyways. "Oh, nothing." He put his hoof up to his ear. The huge huge speakers near Vinyl's stage had been pumped up to max, and they were playing a new song.

"How about we step outside and talk? The music is way too loud!" Yelled Whirl Wake.

red nodded his agreement and stood up. He waited for Whirl Wake to lead the way. For a total stranger, Whirl Wake was being pretty open about himself to Red. "Where should we go?" He asked as he stood up. Once again though, he made sure that his flank wasn't visible to Wake.

Mal stood there, mixture of happiness and shock showed on his face.

'Did she just... Did she really just.. kiss me....'

"I... Ugh.... Be your assistant....." He said stumbling on his words.

'Come on Mal, pull yourself together.'

Mal looked dazed, like he couldn't believe what happened.

She stepped closer, and breathed in his ear, "Oh, Mal, you're even cuter when your flustered. Especially considering how long we've known each other." She pulls back, and then kisses you square, tilting her head so that your faces fit. After a moment, she draws back and smiles at you.

Mal was even more surprised when Radio kissed him again.

'She really did.... She kissed me....'

Mal smiled and blushed deeply."Uh... I... Thanks, Radio." He said to Radio after they kissed stumbling on his words once again.

'Mal you are looking like an incoherent idiot. Snap out of it!'

She grins, "Why don't you get on home, loverfoal, and clean up. You look like you've been fixing my generator." She grins and turns, putting her headset back on, and sipping the apple cider. She seems to be putting all of her attention on the something, which is not you.

Whirl Wake gestured to the door. "The exit's over there. Besides, you look like you need some air anyways." He said, laughing. 'Twas true, Red seemed to be sweating as if he was stressed about something. Whirl Wake began walking towards the exit, waiting for Red to follow.

Mal blushed deeply. He headed to the door.

"Okay Radio, see you tomorrow." He said to her.Mal went up the stairs and put on the headset.

'She is such a wonderful mare. I feel like the luckiest colt in Equestria right now.'

Mal arrived home and cleaned himself up. Afterwards he went up and went to bed.

She smiled at a beaker, Mal... He's worth a voice-note "Headset, voice notes, title, "Mal," reconstruct," she says. On the lens, a 3-D, rotating picture of Mal came up, with a few notes on his physic. She smiles at it, and began the voice note. "Mal is a male unicorn slightly taller, and softer-muscled than me. He is one of the first ponies I've actually met. He wants to know about everything; time travel, nuclear physic, and radiation. I taught him the particle-analysis spell, which probably makes him one of the best chemists of the time. I met him at a party where the bartender was spiking drinks. He's kind, and shy, and possibly gullible, but he knows how to talk to a mare. I just hope I don't screw this up too... /endvoicenote." She yawned, and walked up stairs. Celestia had been extremely generous once she learned that Radio was from the future. Or one of them. She'd been nice enough to give her her this hous, with a basement and a second story, so she could continue her work, in case she ever went back. She yawned, falling on the bed. Her last thought awake was about how much softer the beds from the past were.

Mal frantically searched for the end call option on the device.

There were many different things he could do with it, but as he scrolled through them he accidentally clicked on the call feature. Since only one other headset was registered on it. It began to call. Radio was awaken by a notification that her call feature had been activated. She sighed and answered it, "Yes Mal? I didn't realize you were an insomniac. Do you have a question, or did you not realize that if you stare at the red button for a few seconds it hangs up?"

Red followed Wake closely, he was starting to feel a bit more comfortable around him, "I know a good place we could go," Red suggested once they were outside, "it's nice and quiet there.". He still was not yet ready to nucover his flank.......that secret would remain hidden all night if he could help it.

Taking one last glance around the bar, now as good as empty, she looked back to Aarod, considering it. She wanted to, but it wouldn't be for the longest of time, perhaps an hour or two at the most. "Yeah, sure, why not. You want to go right now or just stay here for a little first?"

 

 

"I'm fine doing whatever you want to do. If you wish to stay here and get a drink before we go, that is fine, or if you wish to go ahead and go, then we can. It's all up to you." He said, smiling. He was really happy now, she had agreed to go with him, and he thought she was rather cute. Don't get ahead of yourself, your just going for a walk.

She nodded towards the door and stepped outside. She realized she had forgotten her things inside, and she remembered that there were lockers upstairs to keep things inside if you worked here. Technically she did, and as tomorrow was her day off, she could work at the club tomorrow morning. She had no intention of carrying her things around so she went upstairs and stored her things there before going back downstairs. "Park it is."

Red followed Wake closely, he was starting to feel a bit more comfortable around him, "I know a good place we could go," Red suggested once they were outside, "it's nice ansquiet there.". He still was not yet ready to nucover his flank.......that secret would remain hidden all night if he could help it.

 

Whirl Wake slowed down so that he was nearly beside him. "Sure, It'd be good to find some place quiet after being in there for an hour." He said, tilting his head to the double doors which they had just exited. They were walking through the back alley that the exit was located in when suddenly two ponies wearing ski masks jumped out, skillfully wielding butterfly knives. "Give us all you got, we want you money, not your life." Said the pony on the left. "If either of you try to make a move I won't think twice." Said the other, who clearly had a more muscular build than the one on the left. Whirl Wake sighed and unfolded his wing, searching for his wallet.

'You probably woke her up, good job idiot.'

I work my own hours, and Celestia's pretty lenient about my research. Now than, you called?" She grinned and thought about opening the video option. She could just see him blushing on the other end, and tucking his head back in that cute, little, embarrassed way of his.

The two ponies smirked devilishly. "We know," Said one, "but first, we need some green. Give us all your money or you will never fly again and you will never do magic again!" He said, pointed first to Whirl Wake then to Red.

Red tilted his head, "my friend, I just offered to buy you two drinks," he said, " there's no need for violence, now come on let's get you two in where the fun is..." He turned and began calmly walking towards the door to the club......giving a wink to Whirl Wake so that he would know that Red could handle this.

The ponies smiled and agreed to walk in, as long as they wouldn't make a move. It was then clear that they weren't very experienced in the art of thievery. The two thugs forced Whirl Wake and Red to walk back into the club, making sure that they weren't pulling anything off. As they opened the double doors, Whirl Wake whispered, "I hope you know what you're doing, man." into Red's ear, the music playing too loud for the muggers to hear.

He walked out the door. "So, you do know where the park is, because I almost forget. It's um, that way." Right he asked, pointing with his hoof in a random direction. "No wait that way right?" He pointed in the opposite direction. "I think I am a little lost." He said. "Maybe you should lead the way to the park?" He suggested.

Red spoke back to Wake, "this is how my parents always did things," he explained, "this way they get what they really needed from all of this......"He bought the two thieves each a drink of their choosing, left them both some extra money for later, then walked back towards the door, "Now what were we doing?" Red asked innocently.
