Sky Warden woke up with the herbal book on his cheeks. He pulled his head quickly and stared at the book. He sighed when he found that he didn't harm the book. He glanced to the window. The sun had turned orange and almost gone in the horizon.  He yawned and put the book back to its shelf. He strode out of the library and walked home.
Sleep in the library, He chuckled, And nopony woke me up.
He snorted when he saw a couple that looked like on a picnic, but smiled as he saw the mare leaned her head to the stallion.
Not for me, He thought as he continue walking home.

After hunter left Rain put a few more things in the basket then sat down. "Wow... Today has been amazing." He thought back to the cloud. "Heh no, it wasn't the day but the mare. Shes great. I wonder what shes getting...." The front door opened again."I'm back, so are we ready?" Rain looked up and smiled, she was quick. "Yeah we're good to go." He picked up the basket and trotted out the door with her following behind him. They trotted through the town to the park. Rain noticed a colt leading a mare with a blind fold on."Hm that's kinda odd." He said with the basket partially messing his words up.

"thats the cute couple I saw before, he must be giving her a surprise. ah heres a nice spot"

hunter pointed at a perfect spot for the picnic and laid the blanket down. she laid down on the blanket herself, helping unpack the basket. she reached into her bags and took out the wine glasses and wine bottle

Rain said as he put the basket down and started to unpack, he looked at what Hunter pulled out of the bag. "Ohhh wine I've never had wine before...So uh what kind is it?"

"Manehatten Red, nothing strong, but sweet as cupcakes"

hunter popped the cork and poured the two glasses with the delicious crimson liquid. before rainy could grab the glass, hunter pulled it away

"might as well stir him up a little"

"uh ah ah, pay the fee to get the wine"

"Manehattan red huh? hahaha as if I would know right?" Rainy watched as she pourd the wine into the two glasses. When she finished she held it out for him to take but before he could she pulled it away. "uh,ah,ah pay the fee to get the wine" she said.

"The fee? Ohhhh Haha okay." Rain met her halfway and kissed her long and deep, while he reached for the sweet red nectar in her hoof.

Angel looked over and smiled softly.  "Well, it is a lovely day after all," she said.  For a moment, she wondered if it was a nice day in Canterlot.  Not as nice as here, she thought to herself.  Definitely not.  Of course, she would miss it though. One day...one day she would visit.

"Yes, it is a lovely day."  Indigo smiled and nuzzled Angel.  "Honestly, this has been the best day if had in a long, long, long time...  With the picnic, I wanted you to feel the same."  Indigo blushed slightly and took a drink of some apple cider.  I bet this was already the best day ever for her too though...

The reunion with Twilight Sparkle and her dragon assistance was one of discovery, for all of the participants, it went fairly peaceful and without interruptions, maybe that one “magical power burst” he felt coming from the town streets but it was brief so he just let that one to pass.

 

The unicorn miss was incredibly smart and experienced in the “things that matter” she would talk a lot but Colt was eager to listen. As a fact she more or less explained what Iron Wing told him earlier, enriching those facts with plenty of information and story references. 

 

It would seem that the sister’s matriarchy would consider all of the living creatures as part of their protégées and the recent appearance of some pony raised dragons had certainly become a matter within the sun and moon wishes.

 

He had a turn to tell his origins and story, in a way, as he could tell there were some things the purple mare kept to herself and he respected that, in fact his tale was not the full one, but covered the tidings Twilight and Spike needed to know.

 

As the day died he realized there were some other things everyone on the “meeting“  needed to too.

“It has been a truly overwhelming time Miss Sparkle, but I’m afraid that if we don’t stop it now we will continue it for ages ” he said as he bowed for the mare in front of him.

 

“There are still things that I want to ask you…about your kind” Twitlight said with a disappointed look on her face.

 

“Yes, is I want to know more of US, from someone who doesn’t want to eat me or my friends” added the little dragon.

 

“I know, I feel the same as you but there are some appointments I must address…Still I promise you both that Ill be back soon to retake what we left here” Colt said as he walked toward the balcony.

 

It was night time now and the streets looked empty, just some couples here and there minding their own business. Colt felt happy in many ways and decided to do what he would never in a city before.

 

“Thank you both, for everything ” he said as he unfolded his coat to extend his wings. It has been some time since others have seen him like this.

 

“I’ll see you soon” he said as he dashed as up to the sky.

 

“You will be always welcome” were the words of the unicorn, she didn’t know if they reached him but still she was sure he knew.

 

He flew straight in the direction of the tower he had to say thanks to the armored pony for “showing” him the truth.

 

He watched the tower as he approached it, realized of the platform to land an went down to it. A soft landing that was followed by the dragon knocking the door. He folded back his wings as he waited for @@Iron Wing, to answer.

Iron Wing looked at the bags with big eyes. "Oh man, how many cakes i could bake with that...." she just said while examining the weight of the chocolate Star had brought her. "You know i could have made cake for a whole military division with that much chocolate..." she said smiling. "This will work fine!" Iron got some packages out of the bag and started to melt the sweet ingredient in a pot next to the oven. She then worked out a chocolate fondant and basted everything on the cake. After that, she waited some minutes before she got the cake within the oven. "There we go! Now we just have to wait for some time to get it ready. Also the tea is nearly ready."

 

Then somepony knocked on the door were the landing platform was. "Who could that be?" she asked outloud since the platform was on the third floor upstairs. She waved at Star to come with her, with that he could see the other floors of the tower. She went upstairs in the first floor, where her private room, and two bed rooms were placed. On the second floor was the armory, the control center with maps on a table and some unused canons. The canons could be readied for combat, but Iron Wing hadn´t even unpacked the ammunition. On the third and last floor, there was the flight deck. A big ramp led to a door which could be closed if the landing platform wasn´t in use. Iron Wing had forgotten to fold in the landing plattform, but since somebody knocked on the door, she opened it and noticed Colt standing outside on the landing platform.

 

"Colt! Nice to meet you again! Come in, i have cake and tea prepared." She made a sign with her hoove for him to get inside the building. "Colt, i am happy to introduce you to Starstream!" she said while pointing a hoove to Stars direction. "It would be nice if you join us!" she said with a warm voice and a smile on her face. She knew that this could be very surprising for the dragon, but Iron Wing had a very good mood today. Iron was always nice to everyone, but sometimes she was very strict and disciplined. She was physicaly very strong since she worked on construction sites all day, also she was trained for combat situations. But within her freetime she was very kind and thoughtful.

Rust was lost. He had been wandering this town for ages now in search of the library, but to no avail. To make matters worse, Vinyl was nowhere to be seen, and he couldn't remember where she lived. Typical, he'd run off without thinking, and now he had no idea what to do. Well maybe a little more wandering around the town would yield sucessful yet. Rust swished his vibrant red hair and set off hesitantly, watching for anything he recognised.

Once again the kindness of @@Iron Wing, took the Dragon off guard, she was living testimony of her and Celestia's student words. 

 

He realized how rude his arrival was, it was the first time in this pony... anypony in years house and he had no gift for her. "My mother would kill me if she knew this" was his thoughts

 

"Thank you Iron Wing sorry for the sudden arrival but I had to thank you for your help and well..."

 

Colt, i am happy to introduce you to Starstream!"  "It would be nice if you join us!"

 

 

As soon as Colt noticed the other pony he shut up and started to cover his face with his hood and went back to his 4 legs. He realized that was the friendly stallion that he left behind the day before.

 

"aaaa... Star... yes, Im sorry about yesterday. " he said with a feeling of regret.

 

"I’ll would like to stay if Im not disturbing you or Star"

Star obediently followed Iron. He curiously examined all the rooms that Iron showed him and quickly ran behind her when she continued walking upstairs.

She opened the door and Star raised an eyebrow at the sight of the dragon that stood before him, the dragon he himself had ran into and who had barely said a word to him before. He giggled as Iron introduced them  to each other. "Ah, so your name is Colt, you were in such a rush before that you completely forgot to mention-..."

He paused as he noticed Colt hid dis face from him. "Hey... something the matter?"

"aaaa... Star... yes, Im sorry about yesterday. " he said with a feeling of regret.

"Ah, no worries. You looked like you had something on your mind, so I could understand."

 

"I’ll would like to stay if Im not disturbing you or Star"

 

"Well, I don't really mind, but this isn't exactly my place, so it isn't my decision to make."

“Im sorry, I’m not used to find friendly ponies around someone like me. Normally when they see my face they run away or scream things like monster, Im just not used to the friendly foals of Ponyville”

 

He stood on his back legs and put the hood down “That’s why yesterday I didn’t talk to you I didn’t want to see more of those faces of hatred and fear… I'm sorry“  he walked towards to the young stallion and extended his claw wating for a “shake”.

 

“Lets start over… My name is Colt, it’s a pleasure to meet you Toushitei… sorry I mean Starstream right?”

Rust yawned loudly. This was getting him nowhere. He'd been past this spot three times now! In the distance, he could see a tower, contrasting perfectly with the small surrounding houses. "Well you know what they say..." Rust said to himself, "when in doubt, head for the most blatantly obvious building." Maybe he could like... ask for directions or something. Hell, maybe that tower WAS the library. In a backwards town like this, anything was possible. Rust sighed to himself and set out towards the tower. At the very least, it was a welcome break from going in circles.

After Colt had entered the Tower, she closed the hangar door and pulled in the landing plattform with some mechanical wheels. She had very good construction with some mechanical solutions she really liked. "So you two have met before? Thats nice, that safes some time i guess. Well then, let´s go down and have something nice to eat and to drink. The cake should be ready by now..." she said and leaded the way down again. She was a bit slower this time so that the two could get a good sight of the tower and the rooms. Iron Wing arrived at the ground floor after a while and Duran her pet jumped directly into her face. "Hmm... plush and warm. Duran what are you doing? Did i forget you?" she said smiling after putting the lynx down.

 

She went into the kitchen and gave Duran something to eat. Then she turned off the oven and pulled the cake out. It was still hot but it was ready to get eaten. Iron went from the kitchen into the living room which was in the same floor and put down the cake on a big table. She also got the tea and some cups for the two guests, slowly the chocolate aroma spread into the room. She opened a window just in case and filled the cups with tea. "There we go, everything set and ready!" she said to Starstream and Colt and offered both seats. She also sat down and started to cut the cake into pieces, giving everyone a piece.

Angel smiled.  "Surely its the best day I've had in years," Angel said.  Perhaps even the only happy day in years as well.  Today I even had moment of horror.  Angel took the last bite of her sandwich, brushing the crumbs off her hooves and onto the blades of grass below.  I can only hope the happy days will continue.

Colt followed his host and Star downstairs as he had a good idea of where he was.  “A defense post” he thought “Well that makes her part of the guard”

 

As a whole the place was a fine building with a good architectonical taste, more than resourceful that was for sure but still very big for a lonely guardian… and her pet.

 

“Amazing” he said “Your house its one of a kind but  It’s a very big place for one pony alone, ”… he said as Iron Wing brought the cake cups and tea.

 

“Are you the only guard on duty in town?” was a fairly obvious question for him as he didn’t want to face some “irrational” guard members, the day was going to well for that.

Indigo smiled and finished his sandwich.  "Well, now its time for cupcakes, if you're still hungry.  So would you like to come with me tomorrow when I look for a store to buy?"  It's a good thing I didn't look today, or else, I would have never met Angel Feathers.  And who knows, she could've had that thing she had without anypony around to help her...

"Sure," Angel smiled at him.  She imagined a brightly lit store with only a simple table in the middle just begging to be decorated as sunlight flooded through large windows.  Angel picked up the beautifully decorated cupcake and began to peel off the wrapper.

"Alright, is there anything you would like to do tomorrow?  Like, for fun or something you need to do?"   If there's anything she needs to do, we both could go into town tomorrow at the same time.  It'd be great!  And maybe I can try to find some of my old school friends too?  I don't know if they'll remember me though...

"Oh well...actually," Angel blushed.  "I need clothes hangers."  Angel didn't know why she felt so embarrassed over it.  It was such a trivial thing.  Angel bit into her cupcake.  It was better then some of the cupcakes in Canterlot which was covered in plastic tasting icing.

"Clothes hangers?  Okay, that shouldn't be a probem, we can pick some up when we're in town tomorrow"  Indigo took some bites of his cupcake.  "Aren't these the best cupcakes ever?  I wonder if Canterlot has better ones though...  I got these from Sugarcube Corner."

"I don't like the ones in Canterlot.  They look so pretty but the icing tastes like plastic," Angel said, sticking out her tongue.  "These are so much better," she said, taking another bite.  "Of course I've never bought the really expensive ones," Angel said after she swallowed.

"Really? Maybe it's because they don't have Mr. and Mrs. Cake or Pinkie Pie there?  And the ones here aren't expensive at all, but I bet they would cost more if the ones from here were sent to Canterlot somehow... But, anyways, I'm really glad I helped make this the best day you've had in years."  Indigo finished his cupcake and kissed Angel's cheek.

Angel smiled brightly at him and nudged him.  "Is Pinkie Pie a baker?" she laughed.  I wouldn't think Pinkie would have the attention span to bake.  But I shouldn't say that out loud.  Maybe this Mr. and Mrs. Cake bake more.  Angel finished her cupcake and took a sip of her apple cider.
