"she's actually a real sweetheart, I went out with her a couple years ago. she was the only pony that didn't break my heart when we parted ways. and before you ask, yes, I was a lesbian back then, still am more or less, but I also like colts so its all good"

hunter looked to the higher clouds and remember her times with Vinyl. she then blushed as she realised she admitted being bisexual

Vinyl started the small walk back to her house before asking, "So why aren't you staying for long then rust?" as they got to the door he opened it and invited rust in, "Take a seat on my sofa while i find some food." Vinyl was in the kitchen for a couple of minutes trying to find something, eventually she found 4 apples "here have a couple of these."

Rust took the apples gratefully, stashing them in his worn saddlebag. "Well, I'm trying to buy a house somewhere," he answered, "And I'm trying to earn money along the way, finding gems and stuff. Only... I'm not very good at it. Every time I get some gems, I end up having to sell them for another week's worth of food." He shrugged. "Looks like I'll be doing it for a while." Rust looked over to Vinyl. "What about you? What's your story?"

"Well the house you're sat in was only just bought by me, and it was and still is a bit of a mess." Vinyl started to get a little teary-eyed "You see i walked out on my parents when i was 13 and i was homeless for a long time, but then i saw a DJ playing music at a festival which i had managed to sneak into, I don't remember why but whatever, then it was when i realized that's what i wanted to do to get money and I've been working on that for the past two years and finally I have a house to call a home." By the end of all that she had started to cry from the memories of her parents.

"Oh, shes a sweetheart huh? I thought of her more as some loud rowdy trouble maker, guess I was being stereotypical huh? So your Bi huh? Well just know that I don't mind, lots of my friends are bi so...Meh." Rain flipped over to his side so he could look at Hunter, she looked, well beautiful i this kind of sunlight. He sighed and smiled, he was glad he could spend this kinda time with her.

Rust stared in horror at the teary Vinyl, and he squirmed uncomfortably where he sat. He had no idea what to do in these situations, and so he attempted ti comfort her; "Uh! don't cry! Just... I... I'm sorry for upsetting you..." Rust quickly rose from the sofa. "At least you've got a talent! I..." he glanced around him. "You've got a great house in a great town, not to mention a realistic dream." Embarrassed by the situation, Rust hung his head. "I'd better go. Thanks for the apples Vinyl, here..." he opened his saddle bag and took out three small and untidy gemstones. "As payment, you can have this week's findings. I'd better go..." Rust left the gems on one of the tables, and moved towards the door.

"I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable rust" Vinyl had done her best to fight back the tears from her memories. "Here have your gems back you need them more than i do, also I know this might sound a bit sudden and all but would you like to have the spare bed in my room, you said you had a food problem and i would like to help you out all i can, i'll help you out all you want i just need someone to keep me company." Vinyl stood with tears still running down her face.

"Oh, that's not silly.  Everything needs protection..." she paused.  "You...you could always read one of my finished stories..." she said softly, hopefully.  Not many ponies ever took an interest in her writing, and despite her soft and quiet personality, she felt ready to bring her stories out to the world.  The waiter then arrived with their orders.

"I wouldn't mind reading one of your stories, and it's nice that you don't laugh at me about wanting to protect flowers.  Alot of pegasai would tease me about it when I worked with the weather..."  Indigo was really happy somepony didn't think that his need to protect flowers was silly.  Back when he returned to Cloudsdale from school in Ponyville, he was excited to tell other pegasai of his abilities but they just thought it was rediculous and taunted him because of it.  Indigo thanked the waiter and slowly began to eat.

Angel smiled at him.  "Maybe one day you could show me your flowers...and stuff," she said.  She took a bite of her sandwich and chewed almost thoughtfully as she looked out the window.  "You said you brought a shop, correct?" she asked after she swallowed, turning back to him.

Indigo finished a bite.  "Well, I'm trying to find a shop to buy actually... Or a good place to build one.  But that would cost alot more I think, since I can't build to save my life... But until I have a shop, I really don't have any flowers to show you unfortunately...  I have a few flower seeds but that's all for now..."  Hopefully I can find a shop to buy soon...  Or at least a house I can try to modify into a shop.  Indigo thought as he took another bite of his sandwich.

"Oh, okay. Well, when you do find a shop, I could always help you...set up and clean...if you want," she said softly.  She took a few more bites of her sandwich and sipped her apple juice.  Hmm...nice apple juice.  But the sandwich still could use some blueberries.  Oh well.

It was no long when he arrived at the end of the town and could see the property of the Apple family, row after row of big apple trees started to fill the scenery .The farm was just in sight and the words of the black stallion in the sky were proven to be truth as a big Help Wanted sign hung on the fence took his attention.

 

“Will have to thank him later” said to himself as he took the sign and go through the fence.

 

He catch the voice of a mare coming from the house in front of him, with that he took a big sigh and tried to relax a bit

 

“Here goes nothing… “ he thought  “please just don’t run away”

 

He knocked the door and brace for impact.

"That'd be a great help, if you wanted to help."  Indigo smiled.  Maybe when my shop starts getting a decent profit, I could form some kinda double store or something?  Help her stories get big or something.  That'd be nice. for her I bet.  "Maybe if I get a good amount of customers, I could help you get your writing out there? If you wanted, you know....  Anyways, hows your sandwich?"

Angel smiled softly.  "Really, that would be wonderful.  its nice," she laughed.  "Usually in Canterlot it has blueberries though.  But yes...it's nice," she said.  She finished her sandwich and finished her apple juice as well.  Would he really help me with my stories?  He hasn't even read them yet.  Does he really think I'm good at it?

"Haha, I haven't had blueberries in a long time.  I like them but I prefer strawberries usually."  Indigo chuckled a bit and finished up his sandwich. "So where are you staying while you're here?  Do you already have you're own place or are you with friends?"  That reminds me, I need to get a place to stay...  I think I'll just find a cloud, those are comfy enough and by the looks of the sky, it shouldn't rain overnight.

Angel smiled.  "Oh, I'm staying just in this town house by more town houses.  To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll remember which one," she smiled.  Ah great.  How do I get home now?  How could I forget where I live! "Where are you staying?" she said quickly, as if he could hear her thoughts.

"Me... Well.... Um.... I actually don't have anywhere right now."  Indigo chuckled a little bit.  I really hope I don't seem like i'm asking to stay with her, that'd be awkward for the both of us I think.  "I was gonna' find a cloud to sleep on tonight.  They are alot more comfy than that branch I was trying to nap on."  It prabably was a good thing I couldn't fall asleep though, else, I'd be really bored now.  "Anyway I can help you find it?"  Not that I'd be much help though...

"Oh."  Angel didn't really know what to say.  Should I invite him over to stay or would that be awkward?  "Are you sure you haven't got anywhere to go..." she said softly.  "Oh, I'm not sure we'll be able to find it," she smiled.  "Their all so similar."  Oh great.  Does it seem like I don't want him around now?

"Well, with my help, we should be able to find it maybe?  And, If we can't, do you have any personal belongings in any of them?  If you do, we can knock on all of the doors until we find it?"  That would take forever, but I don't want her stuck outside if she has a place...  And even if it wouldn't be awkward to ask, she can't sleep on a cloud...  "I bet we can find it."

"Well, then lets go now," she smiled.  "Who knows how long it could take anyway."  She stood up and went to the counter to pay for both of them.  Do we go to the counter to pay?  I think we do...oh whatever.  Either way, I have to pay.  She went back over to Indigo.  "Come on.  I paid for you."

"Oh, really? Thank you, I appreciate it alot."  Indigo smiled, I was planning on paying for it, but I guess that's ok, maybe if we hang out some other time like this, I'll pay for it.  "Well lets go look for your house.  Do you remember what color it is?"  Indigo got up from the table and prepared to help look for this house and followed Angel.

"Yes.  It's...uhm...beige...like the other houses," she said.  This'll be harder then I thought...

Angel walked towards the area of Ponyville which had more houses.  She had found a usual house, in a usual part of town, for a usual price.  She looked around at the houses surrounding her.

This might be difficult.... Umm... "Oh, I know!  Do you know any spells that could help us find it?"  Indigo was looking around trying to see anything that would help, but as Angel said, all the houses were the same color.  "Are we in the general area at least? Is this the area where your house might be?"

"Oh...hmm," Angel thought for a moment.  "I'm not sure.  I don't think so," she said, disappointed.  "Yes, I think its around here.  I remember coming down to go find a restaurant to eat at...oh, I think my house has a porch," she said, remembering walking down the steps of the wrap-around porch.
