"Somber...Somber are you alright ?" Star asked, sitting down next to him. "Hey...Somber, Look at me, Look into my eyes...Everything is going to be Ok. Take a deep breath and exhale. Blow out everything that is hurting you. I'm here for you." She said, putting a hoof on his shoulder, Trying to comfort him.

Scamps woke up, and went downstairs to have brekafast. To her relief, Airy was there. She sat down with him as she ordered her breakfast. "Hey, Airy," she said. "Um...how did you sleep?" She remembered all too well her nightmare, and how he had sipped away from her. She shivered slighly at the thought.

Airy was very happy to meet Scamps at breakfast. "Nice to see you. Well, I slept quite well, how about you?"

The question actually wasn't really needed because Airy could see that Scamps wasn't feeling well.

"Scamps? You look... worried. Is there something bothering you? You can tell me anything..."

The laughing had grown louder... Somber had fell onto his back, looking into the sky. His breathing had reached hyperventilation stages, as the memories kept rewinding... His eyes were near bloodshot, and he couldn't hear or see Star trying to comfort him... The rats... The near suicides... The drownings... The zebras...

"I...I know I can," Scampa replied. "I'd rather not talk about it, but I know it will be better if I talk withyou. I....I had a nightmare where it was our wedding day and....and everything went dark, and then you were gone and...." Scamps paused, sniffing

up the tears. "And it felt so real, so I thought I had lost tou forvever without even trying to save you...and I just wouldn't be able to live with that."

Airy lay down a hoof on Scamps' back. "Ssh, it's okay, I am here, and everything just was a dream." He whiped away a tear from her face. "Look at me, you haven't lost me. Now sit down and eat and drink something. It will calm you down and cheer you up, I'm sure. Shall I get you somethng?"

Scamps felt comforted with Airy. "It's fine...I already orded some muffins," Scamps replied. She trotted over to the nearest window and looked outside. "Hey! You can see Canterlot out in the distance! We're almost there!" She turned around an dsmiled at Airy. "We should be there in a few hours. Back home...."

Stacy felt Rose shift slightly and looked over at her to find that she had woken up. "Sorry, did i wake you? Was i humming to loud?" She asked now unsure of just how loud she actually was humming, though to her it seemed rather quiet. Stacy smiled at Rose as she still looked a little tired.

(OOC: ill be back in a few hours. Got a doctors appointment.)

Airy also took a look outside. "You... you are right! We're almost there! I never would have thought I'd be that happy about returning from our cruise, but who could have expected all that happened either? We... we will be at home soon, and then it's just us again..." He looked into Scamps' eyes and gently kissed her.

Star put her hooves on ether side of Somber's head. "Somber. Listen to me. Relax, You're not alone, We are going to ho home now. I am here for you Somber, And I will always be here to help you when you need help." Not knowing what else to do, she hugged him tightly, Hoping he would snap out of it.

((OOC: Sorry. I'm going to have a hard time posting for the next few days. At the moment, I'm on my phone.))

 

Rose was silent for a moment, trying to remember her dream. She knew it had been important... All that she really remembered was Luna's parting words...

Stacy waited patiently as Rose took a minute. Stacys heart then stopped when she said that she wanted to talk to both her and Spark. Stacy was nervous as question ran through her head. *did i do enough to convince her? What if she dosnt chose me? What if i somehow screwed things up?* these went through her head constantly then Stacy answered, her voice a little shaky. "Uhh, y-yeah, sure." She then got off the bed and waited for Rose at the door.

Moonbeam was still asleep, holding onto Firecracker like a big teddy bear. She snuggled him dreamily, comfortable in his warmth. She cooed softly.

 

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and before Firecracker could respond, a young sailor opened the door and spoke. "We've arrived!" He exclaimed, but when he saw the two together he quickly apologized. "Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to bother you while you were..." he trailed off and closed the door awkwardly.

 

Moonbeam's eyes soon slowly opened. "Firecracker..." she whispered softly with a smile. "Good morning."

Rose looked nervously at Stacy. She hoped that she hadn't made her nervous. She still hadn't picked. She had just... decided it was time to tackle the issue. She didn't want to hurt anypony, but... she couldn't hide anymore.

 

Somewhere, a Princess smiled...

 

"Stacy... don't worry about it. It's... It's just... I need to make my decision. I shouldn't have kept either you waiting this long. It was cruel, for both of you. Either of you could have met somepony else... somepony better than me... somepony who wouldn't have kept you waiting..."

 

She opened the door, and saw Canterlot in the distance... and hoped she was making the right choice...

"Yea, same to you." said Firecracker. He then smiled and rubbed her mane a little. Then got off the bed and on to his hooves. "Let's go check out the deck area, see if our friends are already awake." Firecracker then headed upstairs to the deck, acknowledgedly thinking that Moonbeam was right beside him. He saw while on the rescue ship, they were close to Canterlot.

Stacy let out a sigh of relief. *Ok, she hasnt decided.* stacy folowed Rose out to the deck and saw Canterlot. Her eyes gave a hint of life at the sight of it, but quickly came back to reality as she had to help Rose find spark. "Alright, where would he be do you think?"

Right as Stacy exited the room she began to hear ranting. Like someone was talking to themself. It was strange...then she realized it was Spark who was talking. Stacy looked back at Rose with worry, then went up to his door and knocked lightly. "Spark? Are you..ok?" She asked guesturing Rose over to the door.

Bright Spark jumped back into the corner, himself fileld with terror, as if he belived everypony was out to get him. "no no no no! sweet clestia im soory! please, keep them away! i swar i wont let it happen, i wont let the dreams be true! I wont let rose die i swear! please make it stop! all the laughter IT HURTS!"

Now extremely confused Stacy spoke again. "Spark! Let us in. No one is laughing and Rose isnt dead, just let us in please." Stacy looked over at Rose and spoke quietly so Spark couldnt hear. "I think you should talk to him...alone." Stacy listened for a reply from Spark. Something was wrong with him..but what?

"no, please no! ill fix it all! Ill let the ponies out, ill stop my creation! Just save them! i cant let my parents die!" By now, Bright Spark was a mess. Not in appearence, but mentally. To him the room was just walls of fire, and this pony on the other side was mocking him, laughing at his parents demise. And there was nothing he could do, but sit where he was and hope that the pain went away.

Stacy was in shock at what she heard. *Is Spark losing his mind? I think this trip did a toll on him.* "i dont think hes going to let us in. So, were just going to have to bust in." Stacy went up to the door and got into a good position to kick the door down. She knew Spark was freaking out on the other side and that breaking in would only scare him more, but she couldnt let him stay in there and freak out over a dream. Stacy kicked the door hard and it flung open. What she saw inside was Spark cowering in a corner, his eyes blood shot. She quickly went up to him to get a better look.
