*Wait. He was lying about his name, too?* Rose thought, bewildered. *That's twice. Fake burn, fake name, what about this pony isn't fake?*

 

"Sure, I'll come too," Rose Petal said. "And I don't think I'll bother accompanying Garvolin - or whatever his name is - to dinner tonight." She looked at Bright Spark out of the corner of her eye. *He must be pretty strong to lift what's-his-name all by himself.*

stacy chuckled. "Dinner? Please, he asked you to dinner? Hes got some guts to write a letter to me about how he still has feeling for me and then turn around and ask some pony to dinner. Hes not worth the time if you ask me. For the day and a half we were together we had more fights than an old married couple." She said now a little cheered up.

Yavolin looked up st Stacy."Its not like that, I had..." His wing began to hurt really bad his eyes began to show sorrow, he still loved Stacy with all of his heart, he reached in his coat pocket and pulled out the letter that Celestia sent him, he was showing her that he could of burnt it but in stead he saved it.

Rose couldn't help grinning appreciatively at that last comment. "You'll have to tell me all about that sometime," she said. "It sounds like a wonderful story." She couldn't help but poke her head out of her shell slightly, now that she had a friend. She hoped that Stacy would be the friend she needed, anyway.

(OOC: Derp, I thought he was in his room.)

 

"It was really really nice." Star said shyly "He's... Rather handsome." She thought, giving a small shy smile. "I wish I stopped by my room to drop off my clothes and instruments before we came looking for his music." She thought. Then she heard him say he only got two ponies complimenting him every two years. "What ? But you're so good at playing, You should try playing when they have the open mic... I mean... Sorry for interrupting." She said, quietly.

"Really? Where are you from?" Moonbeam inquired. "I can't see how anypony could resist such beautiful music. Star and I heard you all the way from the ticket booth, and we just had to come see where it was coming from." Moonbeam smiled reassuringly at Somber Tones.

 

"Star's right. You should totally play at the open mic night!"

Stacy laughed when Yavolin showed her the letter. "Is that supposed to mean something? I have a job now, that letter is practically useless." She turned back to rose pettal. "Yeah sure, stop by my dorm tonight id be more than happy to share the story. My room number is 16A, if you want to stop by." She replied.

Of course. The one time he forgets to shut the door behind him... 

 

"I'm from Ponyville... I won some sort of contest to get a free ticket on here...  And uh, here I am."

 

His eyes widen when he was invited to the open mic night. "Uh, I don't know... I generally don't play in front of crowds...", Somber shyly said.

Rose Petal smiled. "Okay, I'll be sure to do that." 

 

She then made an *Ahem* noise, trying to remind Spark that she'd been holding the door open for him all this time. "If you want to put him down, it would be faster if we were actually walking to the Nurse." She said, smiling slightly.

Yavolin yelled at her."IF IT WASN'T FOR ME YOU STILL BE A USELESS BLANK FLANK I HELPED YOU FROM THE KINDNESS OF MY HEART , I COULD OF BURNT THIS LETTER BUT IN STEAD I SAVED IT, I SAVED IT BECAUSE  REMINDS ME OF YOU I DIDN'T GIVE UP I DIDN'T WALK AWAY WHEN YOU NEEDED HELP WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST"? Yavolin showed his temper.

"I was hoping to play... I just dont know what I should play." She muttered. "Star... You just got on the boat, And you are already thinking about somepony ? Ugh whyyyy am I so bad at this." She though, Looking at his guitar. "So... Um How long have you been playing ?" She asked.

"what? oh yes, i was just, erm. waiting for you to finish your little chat. you didnt have to stand there that whole time, but thanks anyway

(OOC: we were standing there that whole time? i thought we were moving towards the nurse.)

he looked up at yavolin. "Jeez man calm down. I think you need to see that nurse about your anger too."

"I live there too! I should come visit you sometime!" she said cheerfully, the top part of her hat swinging across her face, "and I would play with you if it makes you feel more comfortable. You will too, right, Star?" Before Star could respond, Moonbeam kept talking. "Star's an amazing musician too! She has so many cool instruments!"

When Yavolin yelled at her she held in her laugh. "Hmf, thats no way to talk to a lady." She taunted wanting to see how far he would go, how far she could push him. She wanted to get the message across that she didnt need his pity and that she was fine without him.

(OOC: I guess we never really cleared that up. Oops.)

 

Rose was starting to grow alarmed at how quickly these two were reaching an argument. "I think it's sweet that he kept the letter." she said to Stacy, trying to piece together what little information she had gathered. She didn't like the arguing, and if she had to intervene more forcefully, she would.

"Uh, I'm self-taught. I guess I have a good ear for music... And I've been playing for about.. Uh, 13 years?", Somber said to Star Song, before turning to Moonbeam.

 

"Interesting... I, uh... I honestly don't do well with other people playing with me... It leaves me a bit scared to be honest... But, thanks for the offer... And, uh... This open mic night... When is it?"

Yavolin looked at her."I needed you Stacy, and you abandoned me, I didn't forsake you when you needed help, i over looked the lies and Dissect, because i loved you, with my hole heart does that mean anything to you at all Stacy? all i ask is give me a chance". Yavolin wanted to put things right between him and Stacy.

"Oh celestia he is perfect." She thought, Ignoring everything she had thought before. "Um... I dont know. My friend told me that most cruise ships have a night like that. She was saying some at some point closer to the beginning of the trip and near the end of the trip." Star said with a little more confidence.

Rose shuffled her hooves embarassedly as she walked. Yavolin seemed to be forgetting that he and Stacy weren't alone... Or was he just like that, do declare his love in public? Either way, she wasn't too impressed from what she'd heard so far about the pegasus.

Stacy looked him straight in the eye, she softly spoke, "Coming from you? Not really. Like i said im not here for the guilt trips." She backed off. "Well im going back to my room if all youre going to do is whine." She then began to head back to her room. She turned and looked at Rose, "See you later rose." She then continued walking.

"Yeah... See you later..." while adding in a silent plea "Don't leave me here!"

 

She took a deep breath and glanced around uncomfortably, not quite sure what to say. Spotting a crowd on the other side of the deck, she wondered out loud, "Wonder what they're gathering for?" She wasn't likely to find out anytime soon, though. They were out of the way from their path to the Nurse's.

"Oh, okay," Moonbeam replied. "Good luck, though!"  Moonbeam reached into her bag and pulled out a pamphlet which she quickly flicked through. "Voila! The open mic night is tomorrow!" she announced happily.

 

"If you decide to do it, I'm sure you will be great!" she told Somber with a smile.

Yavolin felt like this was the chance he was waiting regardless of his wing, he out stretched his wings to make sure the pony holding him would let go, Then he began to limp after Stacy, he wanted a chance to set things right , he was wasn't  going to let this end.

Bright Spark was getting a little annoyed "considering she dont love you, you still argue like a married couple." eventually, they made it to the nurse, and they sat niylon on the bed. "well now your here im goin to my room. cya both." he left the nurse and continued out mumbling "B7, now wheres that?"

Well, great. You just basically told them that you'll do it. Nice going. Don't you remember how the last time went? You threw up on the floor, and cried. Do you want that to happen again?

When stacy reached her room she wished she had invited Rose to come along, but then again she had invited her later for tonight. She entered her room and was about to close the door when she saw a few ponies. She thought she recognized one of them or maybe both. She trotted to them to say hi.
