The Game Master abruptly appeared in the training room and looked around. "Looks like you are really all here," he said before snapping his fingers. "ARAGORN," The familliar metalic voice said as he was transported to some ancient ruins. "DRAGONBORN," it continued sending him along as well.

 

The exit to the room Claus was in opened upon approach to reveal a long hallway.

The Masked Man looked down said Hallway, and tested his communicator, of which still did not receive any information.

 

Being under the control of someone other than his own master was getting annoying, and he decided if he saw the GameMaster himself, he would likely demand the power or return to his world, with a gun of course.

 

So, with a sigh, he walked down the hallway.

"Yes, my story seems to be a rather popular one tonight," Dumbledore says, eyes twinkling. "And I do not believe young Miss Rowling has quite completed the stories of his schooltime activities yet, so I really cannot say, can I?"

"No, I suppose you can't, not really. You know, I honestly don't want to fight you, don't want untold strength, but most definitely want a memory of this. Who do you think you'll end up fighting?" I hope he doesn't die - he seems rather sweet, really.

As Claus walked down the hallway he was met with two training dummies. A scanner came from the dummies directed at Claus. "Intruder detected. Initiating extermination." The dummies said as they transformed into a Dalek and an Elite with an energy sword.

47 took his eyes away from the fight to look at the competitors. Apparently, Yusuke had brought an assaut rifle with him. 47 took note of that and wondered how he had not seen the gun. He then looked over to the new arrival, the woman called River Song. She claimed to be a professor, but she did not look like the scholarly type. She instead looked more like a woman of action. Clutched in River's hand was a steel rod with a glowing red tip. 47 wondered how it would help her in the battles to come.

(What kind of an assault riffle causes incineration?)

 

Yusuke wrapped his knuckles in some athletic cloth, the only item he had brought with him aside from clothes, and went back to sitting down with his arms behind his head. He was pretending to be exhausted, but, in truth, he felt fine.

hey where did dumbledore go? sora thought to himself before spotting the boy dumbledore called yusuke. hey yuske my name is sora sorry about the sword accident but it wasn't my fault blame dante! also why are pretending to hold a gun i dont think you can win a match using IMAGINATION!(as sora said this he arched his hands above his head and a rainbow formed between them)

"Kid, look at the hole in the floor." Yusuke said. The place where the dummy used to be standing was now a mass of broken floor and charcoal. Yusuke lifted his finger to where it was pointing to the sky. "Do me and yourself a favor and go home, kid. The last thing I want is for you to look like that dummy."

With a small blast of U.N. Owen Was Her and Night of Nights, the Doctress cleared the offending power rush out of her mind.

 

"Sorry, I have a childish persona that comes out sometimes. The latent powers burst out a lot." she said, gesturing generically to the area.

 

She belched, and a random fishlike cat appeared and absorbed the water puddle, just before the fishcat was immediately bagged by the Doc.

 

"Like that. I tend to let out power bursts in Master-y areas. This one is powerful, but has poor managing abilities. I've already barfed out a reverse-catfish and some music. Much longer and something offensive would pop up. If he pulls a Zqan on me, I might be able to hold it down, but my allergies to that might get in the way."

As Claus walked down the hallway he was met with two training dummies. A scanner came from the dummies directed at Claus. "Intruder detected. Initiating extermination." The dummies said as they transformed into a Dalek and an Elite with an energy sword.

With a Jump, The Masked Man quickly fired his arm cannon at the two Daleks, and then jumped over the Elite and cut it repeatedly with his sword.

 

Confused as to why these dummies changed into odd machine looking beings, the Masked Man figured he was close to something important. Maybe this meant he was under the game masters Radar, but now he kept a keen eye as he continued with his blade and arm cannon in hand.

47's eyes widened in surprise when the dummy was reduced to cinders and the floor beneath it destroyed. He amended his previous mental note about Yusuke, it now saying direct confrontation with him should be avoided, lest 47 wanted to get incinerated.

yusuke you just upset because i sliced your face aren't you?like i said i am really sorry besides it is healed up but if you want to be a jerk about it i can always do it again! why are so quick to cast me aside? i may be just a kid but there is more to me than you might think! could we spar a little bit so i can prove myself to you?

"This isn't some game!" Yusuke shouted. "I've been to tournaments like this. There aren't any participation ribbons. If you don't back out now or you don't win, you're going to die! Trust me, I've done that twice already, and it sucks. But what happens if you win? You leave knowing that you killed everyone else, and you have to live with that forever! I have to fight in this, but you have a choice. Just go home before I have to see another child die because he was being stupid!"

Yusuke sat back down. "Every time two people walk into that stadium, only one comes back." He glared at one of the Gamemaster's speakers. "You know, that really pisses me off. Those assholes who set up these stupid tournaments and don't have the decency to let me kick their asses!"

"And don't you think I can't see you looking at me, Hungry Eyes. I'm sorry to tell you this, but I'm engaged and you're way too old for me."

Dumbledore approaches the arguing bunch. "I agree. I know this Game Master's type. He would enjoy playing with his prey for a while longer than he would make known. I believe that only when he has finished toying with us he will let us return to our homes. But I do believe, when we have satiated his hunger for entertainment, he will let us return."

"Psh, you eastnormies- Ahem, people, you know that most of our respective universes are keenly against most Master-related conventions." the Doctress began, staring off into space. "Or should be, but I've only met some Alternates and few entities in power. Most, if not all, of your stories end well. Admittedly at least one of you gets shoved off a tower and another gets his head blasted off, one of you should be executed by Weyard's citizenry unless you're in the RJRA Alternate in which case Jenna eats you alive and borrows the last alchemy power fourth from that Isaac guy and proceeds on a burning crusade against the Joys and Scarlets, one of you has to deal with Yen Sid, and one gets killed by a bear and his helmet stolen, and another- Oh psh, it's not like we can't slaughter the heck out of any Master who is a problem. A certain insidious man tried me once, and he got violently incinerated by the USS Monitor when I hit him with the afterburners and my personal Allweapon."

 

She suddenly realized what she just said and implications thereof.

 

"Oh my, I believe I spoiled several futures. Peh, none of us will remember. Besides, some here are sadistic enough to like killing a few people they really really have problems with from bad writing which can be accused on their willful actions. Um... Right, let's just watch the view and channel your simmering rage from my bad futuretelling into killing each other later."

The Doctress decided to channel the upcoming power rush from the excessive conflict into something unproductive. She pulled out a sign.

 

It read: Nice save.

 

Smirking, the Doc sent the sign back to the narrator closet bag from whence it came, laughing mildly all the while.

"Here's a hint, asshole." Yusuke lifted his index finger. "This ones for the fight later on..." He retracted his index finger and held out his middle one. "...And this one's for right now. Enjoy it."

"If Toguro hadn't done it, I would have killed those assholes at the tournament committee myself." Yusuke mumbled.

Spider-Man pulled the mare down with much force, into the side of the building, he then pulled her towards him, his fist bouncing her back like a paddleball, each time she made contact, Spider-Man would shoot another thread of web out, slowly encasing her in a web cocoon, as they fell down the side of the building. Spider-Man then pulled the mare down, towards his feet, spinning her around as he hit her with more and more web shots, they were just about to hit the ground when Spider-Man slung a web back onto the building, while catching the encased up to her head, Rainbow Dash, Spider-Man then stuck her to the wall like a piece of ABC gum. "And that's why you call good old Spidy for all those pesky critter round ups, accept no substitutes." Spider-Man taunted as he hit Rainbow near the base of her spine, just enough to pinch two nerves together and render her unconscious. "Welp, I think we know who the overall winner is here, so... Now what?" Spider-Man posed the question to the empty lot around him.

hey doctress how come you know so much about us and what were you saying about master yen sid is something going to happen to him? and am i the only one here who trusts the game master? he seems like a nice guy! why does eveyone look done on me? well i'lll show you guys! im going to win i am not some useless kid! i am the chosen wielder of the keyblade that can open any lock be it a simple door, dimensonal portal or magical seal and the only thing that can truly kill a heartless!

Dumbledore wasn't paying attention to the conversation at the present. The delightful, rainbow-maned pegasus he had held cordial conversation earlier looked to be defeated. Was she... Cocooned? Dumbledore suddenly wished he'd paid more attention to the battle's progression on the hologram.

"I broke the fourth wall and I read a lot of stories on the internet when I was a kid. In my universe, until we broke parallel we shared most of our history with One True Plane Earth, where we're all stories and don't actually exist. So yeah, I KINDA know a lot of endings. Oh look, Dashie's been cocooned. Tsk, if she comes back Spidey has a rainboom with his name on it, but that's unlikely."

Scaling his way up the ruins, Aragorn took position in the higher reaches. He was at least a good 100 meters from the target, an easy shot from above. He drew the string back to his chin, tightening his grip on the shaft. His eyes focused on the target, taking into account every missed last time. Within a seconds warning, he unleashed his arrow on his prey,quickly falling back behind cover.
