Should Twilight and Fluttershy have somepony who looks up to them?

I'd consider Spike for Twilight, she seems to be a pretty good motherly figure for him.

 

As for Fluttershy a part of me actually wants to say Discord with how close they are and how he seems to respect her more than the others. If not Discord then her animals for sure.

What about Spike? I think Spike could look up to Twilight. And maybe all the CMC look up to Fluttershy since the Stare Master.  Not so much as they do their sisters and RD though.
