Dusk knocked on the door, but he entered when someone shouted, "Come in!" He walked up to Airy and Scamps.

 

"Hey, you must be the new musician here, and you," he began before kissing Scamps' forehoof, "must be his beautiful fiance, the magician. My name is Dusk Chant, and I am a musician who works here at the circus. I came here to see how you're doing. I don't want any problems with the show, so I wanted to make sure everything is fine with you. Also, I'd like to ask if you want to perfom in my private show. After the main show I like to get together with some of the boys and play some...livelier music. If you want to play, come see me after the show in an hour." He began to leave, but then he turned around, "Oh, and Miss Scamper, I will be sure to see your performance later," he said with a wink before heading towards the exit.

"Like I said, whatever you want to do Umbra... I'll be fine with it.", Rockshire simply said to him, noticing the British accent. She really liked that too...

 

Short Fuse just looked over at the other ponies, mad, but tired too. He hoped that there wouldn't be anypony with him right now...

Time to stop being silly, he wanted to impress her, to make her happy an idea formed. Would that work? Only one way to find out. "Well, okay the dodgems, have a bit of fun y'know? B-but first... well... ah shut up, me" He smiled for the first time, and leant in giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

Electro Dash shrugged. "Sure, can't hurt anypony right?" This descant fellow seemed like a nice pony. Obviosly they just met, but Electro Dash still saw him to be the kind of pony who you almost insta-friend. "I do have a quick question though. Do you have the times for when the main event starts?"

Descant paused, thinking. "Actually, no I don't," he said, looking embarrassed. "I bet it'll be obvious when it starts, though. But... I guess we can try and find a schedule..." He glanced around, looking for, well, a schedule, or maybe somepony who looked like part of the circus.

Bob soon saw his stand near the entrance of the tent , he slowly walked over to it. He had no idea why they had placed him near the entrance where every pony would be trying to go inside and have a good time with their friends and family. Bob let out a soft sigh and  prepared to start his work day.

(Jessus guys! I dont pay attention to the ssr occ topic for one day and now look. Im three pages behind now! No way im reading them all. I got catching up to do.)

She couldnt believe it. She was actually here! Hop looked around passing by other ponies who had also come to the Curquie. (I know i probably spelled that wrong im in a rush) There so many things to do, she didnt know where to begin. She was hopping to find some of her friends here although it may be unlikely.

Flame brought himself a sandwich and started trotting back to his tent.

On his way he accidentally bumped into a small Light gray pony. "Oh dear, My apologies m'am." He said to the mare.

Bob switch his store sign from closed to open and began to wait for customers, he still didn't know why he was placed at the entrance of the tent. Bob soon got out some cleaning supplies and began to clean his stand making sure it looked presentable.

"Ah don't worry about it. I say we just have fun at this here carnival. You know? Dodgems, the ferris wheel. The tunnel of love..." she said the last part half seductivley, before chuckling at her joke. "So what would you like to go on? I love everthing here so i can never decide."

Descant grinned. "There's a tunnel of love? You seem awfully interested in going on that one..." He couldn't help teasing. He really didn't know which he wanted to go on either, to be honest. But... the Tunnel of Love... He had just met this mare. Maybe she had just been joking. Maybe not. Odds were, it was probably just a cheesy, half-lit water ride what would occasionally squirt them with water anyway. "Sure, why don't we go do the Tunnel of Love?" He couldn't help blushing faintly at the suggestion, but he didn't think it showed through his lavender coat.

Rag flinched slightly, and looked around as somepony had bumped into her flank. She looked around, and saw none other than Flame Dancer himself. She had always thought his act was amazing, and that he was amazing, but it seemed he didn't even recognise her as being part of the cast. Almost like he didn't know she existed, she thought gloomily. Inwardly sighing, she said, "Don't worry about it, Flame Dancer."

Descant grinned. "There's a tunnel of love? You seem awfully interested in going on that one..." He couldn't help teasing. He really didn't know which he wanted to go on either, to be honest. Descant laughed and waved a hoof. "Don't make that big a deal of it. It's probably just a water ride with cheesy cardboard cutouts and bad lighting. But... You do have a point. Why don't we do the ferris wheel, or the dodgem cars first? I don't like the looks of that roller coaster." He eyed the wooden coaster suspiciously. It couldn't be well built, if they had to tear it down and reconstruct it every time they moved location.

 

(OOC: I think it would make for a hilariously awkward situation if they did go into the tunnel of love expecting something cheap and cheesy, and it turning out to be a full-out legit Tunnel of Love.)

"Well, I'm off to go find something to do until my next act...the performances start again in an hour. I Will catch ya later." He smiled at Flip and trotted out of the big performance tent.

Ponies were everywhere. *Wow...This is the busiest I have ever seen l'Amour...I'm impressed.* He thought, trotting over to a small booth selling sandwiches.

(What's there at the Cirque outside the tent?)

"Yea, see ya!" Flip Flair said to Flame Dancer as he was leaving the tent. Soon, it was time for her to take a break too, she headed out into the world that was supposedly outside the tent. She was amazed what was there. Tastes!, Smells!, Sights!, etc.

Flame smiled. "Oh...Your name is Rag right ? I have seen you and your brother around but I still haven't introduced myself...Properly...My name is Flame Dancer. It is wonderful to officially meet you." He laughed and shook her hoof. "So when did you and your brother join ?" He asked.

Scamps blushed as Dusk kissed her hoof and winked at her. She didn't blush because she was flattered though; it was because her fiance was literally right next to her. As far as she knew, Airy took that the wrong way...which was kind of how Scamps felt.

 

As soon as Dusk left, Scamps looked over to Airy, still blushing. "I...I'm sur ehe was just being a gentlecolt. Anywaus, good for you that you were invited to a private show. I'll be sure to see it after I'm done."

He smiled, his face blushed as red as a tomato as they walked, each step he took he held himself a little more confidently. He hoped to get in a few more kisses before the day ended and he went to the hotel. As they joined the line he sheepishly put a hoof around her shoulder as a lover would, hoping to every god she wouldn't mind

After a while Hop decided to grab some lemonade from one of the stands. She paid and went to sit on a bench and take in all the stuff that was around her. What she really was waiting for was for the show to start, but that wasnt for another hour or so. As he sipped down her drink she noticed a Dodgem area and thought it might be fun to go there, but there were so many ponies around she kind of wanted to find a good stallion for her. But many of them already had marefriends which darkened her mood only slightly.

Rockshire blushed a little more when Umbra put his hoof over her shoulder. As a bit of a return, she nuzzled his neck, kissing his cheek, and smiled.

 

Short Fuse kept walking throughout the grounds, seeing more ponies show.

 

Great... More ponies to laugh at me... This is swell.

"It's great to meet you, too!" she said happily. "We've been around since the Cirque visited Hoofington last year, remember?"

Bob decided to take off work for awhile, he wanted to see what the Dodgem area looked liked.  He made sure his face was covered with the scarf that his grandmother gave him before she had passed away, Bob switched his sign store sign from open to close and then went off to the Doggem.

She was so cute it hurt, the line moved slowly but he didn't mind. Slowly but surely they were at the front of the queue with the owner of the ride smiling down at them. Umbra showed the wristband he'd been given on entry and they were allowed to get on the ride. He singled out a purple one  and sat in the drivers seat, patting the chair next to him.

"Ah. I see. Well, I don't see but still." Electro Dash was now flying beside descant upside down. She enjoyed flying this way, because it amused her. Eventually they reached the ferris wheel, and Electro Dash looked a little nervous at the huge thing.

"you know i've uhh, i've never been on oe of theese. Perhaps its the nerves of bieng in the air but without your wings. I keep thinking i could fall..."

Rag laughed. "I remember the cider incident. We were in Seaddle that weekend, remember? I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to have any too." She grinned, honestly thinking so. "I think... we're on in about 45 minutes. We're on fifteen minutes in."

 

"Ah. I see. Well, I don't see but still." Electro Dash was now flying beside descant upside down. She enjoyed flying this way, because it amused her. Eventually they reached the ferris wheel, and Electro Dash looked a little nervous at the huge thing.

Descant smiled at how Electro was flying upside down. It was cute. But... Descant was nervous too. He hadn't been on one either, but... He pointed at the carriages. "Don't worry, they're open to the sky, see? If anything happens, you can fly away..." He wasn't worried about anything happening, but if something did happen, Electro would be able to get away. Not that anything would ever happen. It's just that Electro has no reason to worry at all.
