Sweet Love bolted to her feet, whipping out her bow and an arrow, already determining which enchantment would be best. Deciding on something quick and simple, she used a drowsiness spell on the arrow, aimed at one of the beasts' chests', and fired. It hit, and the beast slowed. She hoped somepony would jump on the chance she provided as she aimed another arrow at another beast, and fired. Her trajectory had been off- the arrow whizzed past it's head.

(Hmm... I know that i'm not in this RP and it's not within my rights to say a thing. But I have noticed that you guys have gotten some geological errors in this RP. You talk about going through Everfree Forest in order to get to Canterlot, but the dirrection you're moving in is the direct opposite of Canterlot. Refer to the Equestrian World Map: http://derpy.me/5tE7g    I just wished to point this out cause it is a pet-peeve of mine.   Love Placidzone.)

Thank you for your concern, but to be clear if you want to post anything regarding the RP that is not part of the story then post it in the OCC. This isn't the place for it.

Now for this RP I based my geographic coordination off of this map. It's a crossover between Middle Earth and Equestria, basically everything to do with this RP.

map_of_equestria__tolkien_ified__by_fimo

Now, in the story we have only been grazing the Everfree, staying to the eves. We truly haven't fully entered the thickest part of the woods. I did say this. Okay, this means we have been heading in a general North-East direction towards the Saddle Lake where we will either turn West or head further north to Canterlot. I have planned this.

Thanks anyway.

"O-ok, I'll try!" Star Rain shouted back. She sacrificed half of her hold on the water orb spell and concentrated her psychokinesis on Helm. She looked to her right and focused on him. She lifted him up with great strain, levitated him back some, and with a loud yell, threw him at the other troll. As for the troll she had trapped, she was feeling faint, but she forced herself to keep drowning it. Finally, the troll stopped thrashing and just sunk, breaking the water orb spell. Star Rain staggered a little and felt even more faint, but she struggled to remain conscious. She held her sword in her mouth and jabbed at the troll's knees, causing it to roar a little. It would've done more damage of she had not attacked meekly.

Helm was thrown straight into the face of the awaiting troll, flailing its arms around to deflect the living projectile. Helm seized the trolls neck, hanging on for dear life. He hefted his axe to his side, giving a wild swing at the trolls neck. The amount of force behind it cracked through the hide and entered the soft flesh. The beast howled with pain but did not fall. Instead he grabbed Helm and tossed him away into the rock side. He pride the axe from his flesh, throwing far into the distance. He was wounded but not out.

Just as the troll began to flail wildly as it tried to get Helm off of it's face, it hit seeker with it's fist sending him backwards as he hit a tree with a mighty thud. At that moment  the griffin's pain tolerance to kicked-in as his body was falling as he forced his wings open, forcing him to land on his hind legs. Seeker had looked to where he had seen Helm, then around him to see that a few members in the group where unconscious. With great strane on his wings seeker flew quick and low, his great sword only grazing the ground as he swung his blade upwards in a diagonal swing at the troll's chest.

"You guys have got this, right? I would appreciate it if someone could retrieve my dagger. My back is... not the best at the moment. I'm sure it will be fine. Anyway, I would prefer if I were not to die, so if someone could make sure they doesn't attack me while I sleep, I will be greatful." Goldseek lay his head on a rock and slept through the pain in his back.

The troll howled as Arrow's spear entered its ankle. She looked up at its head and saw a small black dart stuck in its eye. But then the troll stepped back, It accidentally kicked her into a nearby tree. She landed on the ground and groaned, Then her vision slowly went black and her eyes closed.

Sturdy yawns from his tree branch, lazily gazing down at the combat below

"Is everypony just about done?" He asks, waving a hoof at the party

"What did we loot? I think they're just about dead" He laughs, grinning at the unreasonable combat skills of the party, and the incredible magic of Star Rain

"Very well done there!" he hoofclaps, "That was an impressive spell"

Staring at the clearly injured pony Goldseek he sighs and flies down from his perch "Yeah yeah I guess I got you" he laughs and pulls the dagger out of the back of the wounded colt, picking him up by the waist and flying him up to a nearby safe tree branch

Descant's vision began to return to him, and he saw the largest troll, thrashing feebly on the ground, horrible burn marks all over its face, lying merely feet from him. He knew too well that the burns extended all the way through, to the back of the head... And it was still, slowly, gnawing away at the troll's flesh. The dart was even still embedded in the thing's eye. He tried to move to reclaim the dart, but cringed slightly as he felt a stab of pain in his right side. "Anypony a healer?" He called, wiping the blood away from his mouth, moving as little as possible to do so.

With one troll down it seemed spirits were at least a bit higher. Helm struggled to keep his eyes open, his vision fading as blood dripped down his forehead. He took out his last throwing axe, holding it close to his chest. Suddenly he felt himself lifted into the air, a troll had grabbed it. He struggled as much as he could, the axe slipping from his grasp. The troll looked at his eagerly, ready to finish him off. Helm accepted what was coming, shutting his eyes and blocking out all pain.

The light began to rise from the hills, the sun giving grace to the land again. As it's glow touched the exposed skin of the trolls hey seemed to freeze, turning slowly to solid stone. The grasp on Helm loosened  falling to the ground with a thud. The three trolls were done, the company had held them off until morning. But had they all survived?

Star Rain leaned against a tree in exhaustion. She didn't even hear Sturdy's compliment because she was breathing so hard. "I... wish... that... I can... heal..." she said between breaths. She slumped down against the tree and breathed even harder, still conscious.

((OOC : Saturday class. Only exists in my life. -_- ))

Cunning Horn charged his horn with magical energy as he tried to stay away from the battle, sword in his hoof. It charged very slow, and those trolls were just too strong for him to deal with in a melee fight. "Come on" He thought as he waited for his horn to be fully charged. He wasn't good at magic, and his horn-harden spell just made it harder to transfer his magic energy to the horn. He saw a mare stabbed one of the troll's eyes with her double ended spear, but the troll kicked her as it fell due to the pain.

He directed his horn to another troll, but quickly directed to another one when he saw the troll grabbed Helm and ready to finish him off. From his position, Cunning Horn knew that Helm couldn't survive that attack. He focused his energy on his horn and aimed for the troll's head, ready to launch it when a ray of light touched the skin of the troll and slowly turned it into a stone. He couldn't hold that large amount of energy anymore, and he unleashed it in a form of magical bolt which darted in an incredible speed and precision right to the troll's head. A sound of shattered stone filled the air when his magic bolt shattered the troll's head and some parts of its shoulder into pieces.

He stood there still. His horn shimmered red from the heat. He snorted, "Oh great! I just sharpened it yesterday morning" He thought as he dipped his horn into the lake. Followed by hissing sound and thin smoke from his horn.

((OOC : He's a good marksman, but he needs a long time to recharge that bolt magic. Don't mind it don't ye? ))

"Cunning Horn!" Helm regained some strength in his legs, stumbling over to the nearest pony. "Morning has come and we cannot linger here. Should we continue west, or risk going north to Canterlot. We have no time left to negotiate and I will not leave the choice to myself. I can trust you with this."

Star came to after a few minutes, his eyes still too blurry to make anything out. The only thing he remembered was being utterly useless in the fight. He practically drew his sword and got knocked out instantly. What a waste of a fighter, if he could be considered a fighter at all. "So... what now?"

Cunning Horn took his rum bottle and drank from it, "Canterlot sounds good" He held the bottle upside down and snorted, letting the last drop of rum fell to the ground, "I'm running out of rum".

He filled his bottle with water and put it in his saddle. He sat on a rock, and yawned. He hadn't sleep all over the night, but no matter. He was used not to sleep enough due to his wandering habit after all. He pulled out his sword and focused his magic energy on his horn, trying to harden it. "Anytime ye are ready to go Capt!" He sharpened his horn with his sword again.

Sturdy shakes the sleep from his eyes and carries down from the tree Goldseek, wings flapping rhythmically; yawning he looks at helm and says "So, Canterlot? We decided to take that route after all?" Placing Goldseek on the ground

"Not an issue, I am looking forward to the trip"

Arrow slowly started coming too. She tried sitting up but gasped and fell back down. "Buck." She muttered. She took a deep breath and pushed herself up. "Ah." She gasped again. She took a few more deep breath's then got up onto her hooves. She walked around to the other side of the stone troll's, Then slowly and painfully moved over to the group.

Helm took a deep sigh, now knowing that he ad little other choice. Much of their provisions were destroyed after the attack and many were injured. "So be it."

"We will move out now. If a pony cannot stand on his own four legs then carry him. We will leave the packs here for we will not need them for the next part."

Instead of leaving her pack behind, Star Rain simply made it disappear to a place that she can summon it from anytime she wanted to. She had regained much of her strength back, enough to cast a small healing pell on everypony, including herself. She didn't even protest against going to Canterlot, but she had to tell them a little something. "Just letting you know, we may encounter a mare there who looks identical to me. If we encounter her, be careful," she warned them.

(OOC: Can Star Rain's mother make an appearance for the next part at some point? She'll only be around for one battle against us.)

Cunning Horn just finished sharpening his horn when Helm ordered them to move. He snorted and sheathe his sword in his saddle. He didn't have time to sharpen it, but he used his horn more than his sword after all. He stood and glanced at Arrowleaf. She seemed wounded pretty bad and like what the captain said, "'Cannot stand on his own four legs then carry him'. Oh, her".

He walked to the dryad, and gave her a weird salute, "Ye need help" He paused for a while to remember the dryad's name "Miss Arrow?".

Star Rain could barely stand. She tried to get up, but she kept falling. Finally though, she regained enough strength to lift herself up and cast her healing spell on herself. After all, she's about to face a nightmare she swore never to return to. But it looked like she was headed home anyways. And she wasn't about to tell them that she used to live in Canterlot. All she could tell is that she'll most likely be seeing her mother again, hopefully for the very last time if they meet.

Arrow nodded."Yes *Pant* Please." She said, quietly. *I need to pay more attention next time.* She thought. "I think *Pant* I Broke...a rib *Pant* Or two." She said, Trying to ignore the stabbing pain every time she took a breath. *Buck...This just had to happen when we were leaving.* She thought.

Cunning Horn rose his eyebrow as he looked at the dryad carefully. "Ribs 'eh? Guess I can't carry ye in that condition". He turned to Star Rain, "Oy ye there! Ye are a healer aren't ye?" He titled his head to Arrowleaf, "We need a little help here".

He didn't get any wound in that battle because he wasn't involved in the melee battle and waited until the right time to attack from safety, "If only they were a little smarter and avoid swashbuckling with those trolls, bah! Who knows what will they do when they confront that dragon" He chuckled, "Maybe they will enter its mouth and rip it from inside".

Goldseek pushed himself onto his legs. His back ached, and he fell again. He pushed himself up again, and, fighting through the pain, managed to walk. "I'll... Be okay." Step after step, Goldseek made his way to the rest of the gang. "Ughh. Stupid trolls." Goldseek fell again. "This is impossible." Through all his adventures, Goldseek never really had an injury. Just cuts and bruises.

"Oh you need healing?" Star Rain answered Cunning Horn's call. She walked over to Arrow and began casting the healing spell on her. Her magic aura went from cyan to a minty green as a green energy surrounded Arrow, just like how it surrounded herself when she used it on herself. When she was positive that Arrow got at least a good chunk of her strength back, she let go of her focus and asked,"All better now?"

@@aRegularPony,

The moment Seeker landed he could feel almost every ounce of energy leave his body as he fell to one knee, his grip never faltering on his Great Sword. "may who ever judge their souls have pity on them." Seeker whispered as he looked at the fallen trolls, but more closely at the one he ended with a slash from his Great Sword. With a audible force of strength Seeker forced himself to his hind legs as he heard what helm had told the group at that moment he looked to where he saw Arrow, but saw she was already being helped and gave a small smile. He turned his screaming body to where he heard Goldseek "If you need help, just ask we are comrades, are we not?" Seeker asked as he held a claw out to help Goldseek back up, though if need be to put him on his back.

Sturdy stands at the head of the now roughed up group of adventurers, gazing over the injured and the healthy

"We need to leave now, you heard Helm, every pony capable of flight, fly; those who can still walk, walk" He chastises

"We are heading to Canterlot are we not? I will meet you there, don't be long" He takes off, soaring towards the distant mountain, leaving only wind and the party behind.

Goldseek took Seekers claw and trembled. "Thank you. I should be ok." Back on his feet, Goldseek continued to try to walk, his stubbornness cancelling out his common sense to accept help. One step at a time, he made his way forwards. At this point in time, Goldseek's pain was easily noticeable.
