Cascade had hesitated slightly when Styles had offered, but when Keeper said he wouldn't mind, she smiled. "Of course I'll dance with Styles," she said. "Then, we can go to the gallery if you want," She said, now directing what she said at Star Keeper. She slowly began to amble towards the Ballroom, clearly under the impression they would all follow.

Styles nodded as Chaser talked about his daughter. They were joined a second later by the hostess and another stallion. He turned to the hostess and smiled. "I make it a habit to always offer the Hostess a dance." He tipped his hat and looked to the other stallion, as if for permission before he offered his hoof.

"Wow, really?" Chaser Wing replied. He followed Styles's line of sight and saw a pretty pony, who must be the hostess. He would've asked to dance if she wasn't already with another stallion. Then again, he was a little uneasy with starting relationships with somepony when he has a kid around.

As the Styles led Cascade onto the dance floor he nodded at the DJ, signaling him to play a song he had requested earlier. The song was a slow one but Styles liked it for several reasons. It was easier to add some flair to slow songs, and it gave a chance to talk.

 

 

"Is this party what you expected?" He queried in between spins

As the Styles led Cascade onto the dance floor he nodded at the DJ, signaling him to play a song he had requested earlier. The song was a slow one but Styles liked it for several reasons. It was easier to add some flair to slow songs, and it gave a chance to talk.

 

 

"Is this party what you expected?" He queried in between spins

"Pretty much," Cascade responded, with a little twirl. She tried to keep a decent distance between herself and Styles, out of respect for Keeper, but it was hard to, what with the style dance they were twirling to. She really did move with a fluid sort of grace.

Hop still seemed a little confused but then jumped up and hugged him. Before she could back up any he hugged her back. "I am going to take that as a yes, or at least hopefully a yes. If you still don't know whats going on, then you should know that you drank a little to much and well I couldn't stand to see you like that so I helped. I hope you aren't mad at me." He finally ended up saying, still hugging her.

Hop pulled away from the hug. "Yeah i know i did. I was just upset and angry... And no im not mad at you." She felt kind of bad for drinking so much and she probably made a bad impression on the host too. Hop looked at Aarod and felt butterflies in her stomach. She wanted so badly to kiss him but didnt because she was still a little afraid of being abandoned, not wanting to get attached.

Chaser Wing watched Styles and Cascade with amazement at their dance moves. Styles danced with flair, perfect for a slow song like the one they were dancing to. Cascade move fluidly like a dolphin underwater. He then noticed that Cascade's wings were more like flippers than feathered wings like his. He'd love to of inquired about them, but he decided not to so that he doesn't offend her or anything.

Hop pulled away from the hug. "Yeah i know i did. I was just upset and angry... And no im not mad at you." She felt kind of bad for drinking so much and she probably made a bad impression on the host too. Hop looked at Aarod and felt butterflies in her stomach. She wanted so badly to kiss him but didnt because she was still a little afraid of being abandoned, not wanting to get attached.

(OOC: Why thank you, and actually the way that I...I mean Styles dances actually does keep a decent distance...not that it really makes a difference. Once you ponify a dance things can change.)

 

"Im glad. I have one more question for you. While I enjoy these types of songs and dances. It seems that some of the other partygoers would prefer something, shall we say, more modern. What would you think of me giving them a little show?"

 Peachy heavily gasped "Who said ah was lookin at yer flank?"  "Ah just so happened to be examining your cutie mark that's all!" She turned turned her face away to hide her red face. "Not that ah think ya  have ah nice lookin flank or anything" (Just to not confuse you she does think Quip has a nice flank)

She opened her eyes again and found him a little further away this time. She got up and sat next to him, gently nuzzling him. "Its ok. You know you dont need my permission to kiss me right?" She asked jokingly.

 

Aarod smiled at her. "Oh really now, so you wouldn't be mad if I did this then." He said and then leaned in without warning kissing Hop. It lasted a few seconds when he pulled back remembering the other pony in the room. "Um, maybe we should go somewhere different."

Cascade nodded as the dance ended. "I guess that's alright." SHe took a few steps back, off the dance floor, to sit with Star Keeper. She assumed that Styles was going to do a solo dance, by the way he had phrased his request. Cascade smiled reassuringly at Star Keeper as she sat with him, as he seemed a bit tense, and nodded a hello to the pony who had only just arrived. @@The-Master, @@MagicalStarRain

"I guess you could use some good music when you get home from long days," she responded, before momentarily leaning back and asking, "at least, most of them. I still need to attend the orchestra, it is a second home to me." She leaned back in, saying, "That's just part of life, I'd say I wouldn't mind doing that at all."

Cello Opal leaned back for a moment, questionably asking, "I do get enough money from the orchestra, you know. I do believe I meant something a tiny bit different than you did." She couldn't quite understand the offer, as it wasn't what she had expected at all.

@, Quip smirked and raised an eyebrow, "So my flank isn't amazing? But i took all day to shine and buffer it, how could you not like it?" he said and pouted. It was fun to tease, even if it was with a pony you really cared about. In fact, that made it all the better.

Draco chuckled as he nibbled onto her ear gentlely "I know what you meant my dear lady. I was just offering you a chance to get closer to me," Draco whispered huskily into her ear.  "Or me getting closer to you so I can have my wicked way with you," draco says with a teasing tone to his voice as he chuckled.

Styles walked over to the DJ to explain his act. It was simple enough, the DJ gets everyone's attention and then starts the song. Styles could take it from there. But Styles had to make sure the DJ had a good song to play. At first the DJ appeared apprehensive at something so different but after Styles explained that Cascade had approved he was much more accommodating. Style walked over to the center of the dance floor and placed his hat, upside down on the floor by his feet.

 

"Alright Ladies and Gentlecolts! We have here a real treat! Classy Styles here will be dancing to Never Back Down!"

 

(OOC: If you want I can attempt to explain what the dance looks like but I think it would be boring to do it that way so here if a video of myself dancing.

She laughed with him cautiously, pecking him on the cheek as well, the earlier effects slightly dimmed, but still there, just less effective. She suddenly felt her throat go dry when she realized how thirsty she was, and she took his hoof. "I'm getting real thirsty, you want to get something to drink?"

"Aye I would shall we milady?" Draco asked as he walked towards the punch bowl. "Careful now it's spiked. I usually bring along a bottle of water but I kinda forgot to do it," Draco said with embarassment. "Oh I hear fireworks, outside want to go see it with me?" Draco asked.

"That looked fun." Star was at least glad that both of them had been polite  had a good time and that was it. What was there to be worried about anyway? She wasn't that king of pony, she was special.

@, Quip smiled slyly and put and arm around her, "So now my flank is the center of attention?" he continued to tease her. "Yeah, they should start soon. Actually, they should be right aaabbboouuut..." he said, hoping the fireworks would start at that moment, but the moment was ruined because they didn't. "Oh cmon! It works in all the movies, how come it doesn't work fo-" he was interrupted by the sound of a firework getting set off, and then exploding a fair distance up in the sky. "Oh, there we go" he said as he laid down and watched them go.

 

(Assuming Peachy lays down too) Quip smiled and grabbed Peachy's hoof, moving closer to her to enjoy the moment. "I'm glad i met you Peachy..."

Cascade smiled, and nodded. "It really was fun. I can dance with you, too, if you wanted." She looked at him, her eyes sparkling. "It would mean an awful lot more with you. But... I guess we can go to the gallery too. It's that door, halfway up the stairs." She didn't sound overly disappointed... She was happy to do what Keeper wanted for a while.
