Q, a member of an omnipotent alien race and previous enemy to the enterprise...

 

...and Discord, the spirit of Chaos and disharmony, and the bane of the elements of harmony.

 

Who would win in a battle to the death with no outside help, and no mercy?

 

(This is assuming you don't need the EoH to defeat Discord, and also for this battle, Discord will be able to kill Q.

 

But that doesn't mean he'd win~)

Immortality aside, Q has demonstrated that he's able to destroy stars, create alternate realities, and raise the dead. Discord has done some pretty impressive stuff, but nothing I would say that approaches that level of power.

Honestly, it could go either way. It would just depend on who got in the cheapest shot or who let their guard down first. They are both equally powerful. Of course if it turns out Discord IS Starswirl the Bearded, it would add a whole new level to his power. I'm going to go with Discord on this one. I adore Q but I think discord would be able to win in the end. Again, Its like asking who would win if two beings of matched power were to fight. Its a tough call.

Well I take into account Q's OP performance and Discord's mischievousness and I'd still have to say Discord would win.  He has the ability to traverse dimensions ( I say that as in between 2nd and 3rd dimension) He can alter anything he pleases on his whim.  He is witty and plays mind games.

He's much larger than Q

And he's magic...

EDIT: Just remembered that he has also demonstrated control over the celestial bodies (Sun, and moon) so he can do anything Q can on a whim.  That's pretty sweet, he has mind control, control of weather making it extremely inclement.

For this fight partically, I think it could be neck and neck. Villains usually make sure their opponent is off-guard.

This one is tough.

It could go either way for me. But Q is technically bound by some rules set by the Q continuum. In one episode he breaks those rules and is forced to become a species of his choosing until he learns his lesson. Discord isn't bound by any rules. Of course since Q is shown to omnipotent, he could do everything Discord can. Thus making it a neck and neck fight. Both would be cheap and both can be caught off guard. So....tough call.
