Gated Synth in FL Studio?

Does anypony know how to go about making gated synths in FL Studio? Any suggestions would be awesome! I'm trying new things with my music and I especialy love the sound. Thanks!

gates are really easy to make.

 

simply add Gross Beat to your effects board on the same channel that the synth is

 

there are many preset gates that you can use, or even make you own

 

see that picture down there? The orange box is the gate/volume presets. click through them till you find one you like. the saw gates are really good actually!

 

if you need ANY help with fl studio, ask me. not trying to brag but im pretty good with it.

If you don't own full gross beat, don't worry, if you own juice pack or any FL Studio over Producer edition, There should be a Effect vst called "Fruity Love Philter" Turn the filter off or set vanilla lowpass on low, use the first channel and make Square shaped automation, or, there are couple gate presets on it.

 

If your using sytrus, you can go to the FX Tab and go to the VOL setting, do the same thing you did on lp on this

Thank you! I'll be sure to check it out when I return home, and I'm sure I'll return to ya guys for more questions in the future. I have FL 9 xxl producer edition, and I'm not sure if i have that first instrument, but i do have the over 2 that are mentioned
