searching Tears of Virtue (Adventure RP)

It's a dark day in what was once known as Equestria. A mysterious and powerful figure known only as the Grey One has amassed an army, quickly sweeping over the land and enslaving its inhabitants. The Princesses have vanished, their godlike power still no match for that of the Grey One. Without their rulers, the various ponies were unable to put up much resistance. However, all is not lost. A guardian of the realm has awoken. She has chosen seven ponies to act as her emissaries. They must rid the land of the Grey One before Equestria as they know it is gone forever.

 

 

This RP takes place between the time the tribes came together and when the princesses banished Discord. The Elements of Harmony are unheard of, and the world's more primitive; technology like the trains in Equestria is barely gaining a foothold. If your character's a computer hacker with a laser pistol, you might want to look somewhere else. That being said, inventors are always welcome.

 

The basic rules apply: no godmodding, no Sues or Stus, etcetera. Also, no alicorns. We've got enough superpowerful beings as is.

 

I may have "borrowed" (read: shamelessly stole) a good chunk of the plot from an obscure book series. However, I've done my best to alter the plot, keeping only the most basic of the ideas.

 

Depending on the interest levels of the members, this could remain a fully textual RP, or it could incorporate some elements of tabletop RPGs.

 

If you're interested, post a bio of your character. I'll review it and, if I deem it acceptable, inform you. There is a seven-character limit, myself not included.

 

EDIT: The main party is seven characters. Additional ones will be considered and possibly added. The list is as follows:

 

Colt-Fortune as... Colt Fortune, I assume.

Ian, as Steel Forest.

MagicalStarRain, as Star Rain.

Coffee123 as Pondah.

Amber Sands as Solar Flicker.

 

 

As a side character, we have Colt, the most confusingly-named dragon ever.

 

I see this lasting quite a while, so serious RPers only, please.

 

I'm still trying to work out the bugs with posting limits and such; any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Alright, I'll take a shot at it, this is my first RP so sorry if I seem noobish at times lol Here's my character's Bio. Also, if you're curious about look it's my avatar

 

 

Personality:

He's a happy go lucky adventurous pony. He loves exploring unknown locations and traveling in general. He has enough charisma to burn a hole in the Earth. He's gullible at times however, believing almost anything he's told. He'll often try to brighten a mood no matter how dire the situation. He's peaceful at most times and prefers to knock an enemy out, rather than killing, and will negotiate whenever possible. He's still amateurish since he's never done anything too big in the ways of adventure. Also he tends to rush into things if friends are in danger.

Backstory: He's a young stallion who has been aspiring to become a treasure hunter since a young age. All of his life he's been lucky, so much in fact his cutie mark is 3 four leaf clovers, which resemble that, as well as his love of rare objects. He was raised in Canterlot for the first 18 years of his life, but soon moved out and to Ponyville. He travels around whenever he hears about anything interesting,

I would like to be a support char, he can help and protect for some time the chosen’s and then we can see what can develop there after all that way your storyline keeps the same, but if you need a player to take as one of the chosen’s, I don’t think is needed there are a lot of requests up there =D. The only guideline is that everyone's in Canterlot at the same time. Other than that, do what you wish.

Ah.  I meant the dice roll system so that it's always an interesting number :3  Like, just saying your character is charismatic doesn't mean anything compared to rolling a 20 and using that as a base stat fer charm
