Help for Writing Song? :3

Hey EveryPony!

 

I'm trying to write a MLP song, About Celestia missing Luna after she had to banish her to the moon, I'm new to song writing, and I've found its nothing like Story Writing  Can Somepony please help me?

 

 

My Troubles with the Lyrics are that I can't find anything that fits in my mouth right, I've actually got nothing of my song because I'm so bad    I'm thinking of calling my song "Misty Eyes" due for inspiration, But might change it from lyrics. I'm aiming this at a slow, sort of sad song, but still alluring and lively at the same time, Its abit much for my first, But I want to give myself a challenge! I just need help, Thats all -blush-. At the moment, I'm fine with music, I'll actually have to get the lyrics first

Due to the lack of information, and my complete inability to write anything other than fanfiction, I must say that I won't be much help. I would suggest not mentioning everything, and make it more subtle what the topic is.

I only can draw a bit of art and I write poems but never did of MLP, hope you will finish your song though and mayby sing it? would love to hear it :3

Well if it's the lyrics troubling you then I think I could be able to help! Words, whether in prose or in a poetic style, are my speciality.

 

As a pleasant coincidence I've actually been thinking about the subject myself recently, so I already have a couple of ideas about this. I wish I could help with the music too, but I've never really done enough theory to get the hang of it.

Hit me up with more info as in style and such and I can probably help you quickly of give you samples/ideas. Been composing music for quite a few years now.
