Please let me know if I am understanding this correctly. When choosing skills you have three points to use. So if the skill listing is broken up as:

 

1 point

     Skill A

     Skill B

     Skill C

 

2 points

     Skill D

     Skill E

 

3 points 

     Skill F

 

I can take either all of A, B, and C, OR one of ABC, and one of DE, OR just F. I'm understanding that the point the skill is listed under is how much that skill costs, is that correct?

 

Also, is dual wielding something I have to learn at a later time, or can I start out with it? As a rogue I intend to use daggers and it doesn't specify in here. It just gives a description of what it is.

I am CST (GMT -6)

 

I work from 12pm-6pm (8pm starting in March) Tuesday through Saturday. I'm a night owl so staying up late is not a problem. I work at my parent's store so it is possible to play while there, until business picks up in spring, though I may be interrupted occasionally by a customer. Whatever we decide I will try to work around.

 

I prefer to use the chat box but if everyone wants video chat I will do that too.

Ok!  Sorry to leave you all in the dark there!  Lots of school, story-ing and Fallout XD

 

As for joining the game, you should just be able to jump in so's long as you click the link I posted one or two pages back.  I will review all characters and recheck stats and points and such (may scrap that system for something a little more fun).  As for times and such... Sundays are usually perfect for me but considering the time differences Friday night/Saturday morning may be in order for me.

 

Considering the mode average of time zones it looks as if GMT-5 is the most common... either way, it allows for more comfort my end XD  Atlantic's too big, no?

 

Saturdays from 1600hrs-1900hrs (GMT-5) sound ideal, that means about 2300-0200 (GMT).  If you guys wouldn't mind holding the sessions earlier in the day, then I would love you to bits!  However, I can say up 'till crazy o'clock on Friday nights.  That means no voice chat from me sadly (if we do late night Fridays), but then again reading the story seems more... mystical...

 

It would be wise to appoint a team leader.  Usually they should take a central role within the team and be able to make decisions for the group.  Or, you can all be rebels and not care for leadership :3  Your choice!!

And just to throw a spanner in the works... I'll be unavailible from this Friday until the following Tuesday as I am going to Normandy as part of a French and History department trip.  I do apologise for this as I know how much frustration you guys must be feeling with me.  I have a very busy life, but GMing is a nice way of relaxing. 

 

The first session will only be an induction crash session which will require maturity and light hearts.  The combat system is in Alpha at the moment, bordering on Beta until more testing has been done.  I ask of your patience in bot my absence and in my role as GM.  If for any reason I am not up to it, say so and I will step down if need be.  I want to do this, but I don't to drag you guys down.

3pm - 6pm Central

2pm - 5pm Mountain

Those are good hours for me. Since I'm not going to have internet at home for a few weeks this lets me use the store internet.

I'm not totally sure if flash is required...  There's the game interface, voice chat (we can use Skype if you want) and 3D dice option (that probably needs flash...) and I'm afraid I'm not sure if flash is NECESSARY.

 

Have a doddle on the site and try out the game interface on our lovely game.  As soon as I can get those characters done and we're good to go as far as times are concerned, we should be ready for the first intro-ish bit.  We'll use the same, small map to get used to things and we can refine and revise the rules we have so far.

 

NB- This is a ROLEPLAY, so it may be necessary to really simplify the rolls and make most of it up.

Great! I'll just wait and I can't wait for us to get started. Not to mention I'm going to have so much fun being concealed and picking off targets with my crossbow
