Yes, it was mostly a one-way conversation. During forcing sessions, I concentrated only on her and the traits I wanted her to have. So, I was more telling her things with the presumption that she was listening to me. Outside of those sessions, I would mentally comment to her about various things - kind of like those idle thoughts you have, but directed towards her instead. Her first words came when I least expected it, and though it was more of an echo of myself, I knew it was her.

 

Heh, I still remember... I was grumbling to myself about my jerk of an ex-boyfriend (whom I was still in a relationship with at the time), and suddenly in the middle of my thoughts was - big jerk! I asked if it was her, but she didn't respond afterwards. She didn't talk very much, but it gradually became more. Later, she told me it was because she couldn't talk very well at first and had to learn how, pretty much like how a child has to learn how to talk when they're young. So she mimicked me sometimes, until she could form words and sentences on her own. ^-^

Hmm.... Very interesting, I can sorta see how this works now! This is all very intriguing.

Maybe, I've been told that the 2.0 files are better then 3.0... and if that doesn't work, it may be some other factor... I.e not subjective to hypnosis, distractions, etc. It does take some time..

Currently, I'm having far more success with Rainbow Dash's file than I had with Twi's.

And yes, multiple sessions are needed. It can take a lot of time. It's recommended to listen to the main file at least once per day

HAH, me too. I'm going to be optimistic and say it's us achieving a deeper trance and eventually a stronger effect 

Not to mention, the voice speaks much faster than in the Twi's file, despite it being the same girl.

 

I mean, I understand it's Dash and so it needs to go fast and all, but slow down. I can't even picture myself transforming 

 

Also I couldn't decide on my avatar, but then I found this gif of Dashie looking GLORIOUS and I was sold.

Okay. I just need to clear something out.

 

A few months ago, I was a little bit down. I didn't knew about tulpas at that time. But wherever I felt a little bit sad or lonely, I'd imagine Thunderlane by my side, talking to him about random things. I'd imagine what he would probably answer, based on the shallow development of his character on the show. Like, we don't know much about him, and even still I'd imagine him answering me and even sometimes asking me questions. But recently, I've kinda abandoned that idea since I'm not as sad/lonely as I used to be, thanks to progress on my psychological treatment thingy. That means I no longer picture him and no longer talk to him.

 

My question is: was Thunderlane like a tulpa that I developed without knowing? And if I start doing tulpas, should I try and get him back as a tulpa or not?

The only reason you would need to use the reset file is if you used a different pony file. Using the spa/flight files and another pony file is perfectly okay without a reset.

He could have been a tulpa indeed. That's how you successfully make an "accidental" one.

But it could have been just you as well. Depends if you're absolutely sure that it was you imagining the answers or actually him talking.
