It is very fast to download, maybe a min at most (not counting the rom which took me 6 seconds) It is completely free, but you have to have a firered/leafgreen rom. (and SS/HG for pokes following you.)

an ROM-file, or ROM-image, is a copy of the data from a chip, usually video-game cartridges. ROM stands for Read-Only Memory, which means that the file's only option is to be read from a device or program that can analyze the data from it. in this case, this Pokemon MMO reads and utilizes the game data from Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green in order to play properly.

 

acquiring ROM-files is usually illegal because they contain full copies of the games which are subject to copyright, but eh.

Nah I decided not to EV train since my friends have no idea what it even is (felt like it was a bit unfair to do it xD) I'll probably EV train when I make my new character.

 

Also have you got the amulet coin yet? It's so useful

I don't know where to find the coin, I never played through firered/leafgreen much, because I played the heck out of blue. I use a persian with pay day for money, fighting trainers, besides running elite 4

I looked it up, is it from one of oak's aides? I probably missed him. I got the itemfinder and the exp share, but I didn't get one for 40 pokemon. EDIT: Yes it is, I got it.

Yeah, i found out a couple minutes after posting. it is on my Aerodactyl now. Thanks for the help, even if it wasn't needed. Turns out I had just missed one of the aides.

We're not doing it for anything except $25 bucks each on real life ($100 pool ). 2 of the 3 friends are actually Pokemon idiots, but the other one is pretty good.

 

I'm confident, I can EV train and I've been playing since 2000, they've been playing since 2007. N00bs lol.

Ugh, I got a modest houndour, and thought it was so awesome, then I IV checked it. 0 special attack IV. So much for that. Someties I wish i didn't know what IV's were, so I didn't realize how bad my pokes were.

I got around $15,000 per battle so overall I got $75,000 (plus Gary of course) I can fight the E4 around two times a day so I can make around $150,000 per day. Dayuuuum o_o

Fighting the elite four gives off $15,000 per battle

Well each hat costs $500k so it would take a while to buy each one
