Gears turned as red as a tomato as Electro hugged him. It took him a while, but he wrapped his hooves around her.

"Well... You never asked... And... My inventions usually end in..."

He had a choice; tell her about all the ponies that hate him and ran him out of their towns, or keep his mouth shut.

''Ooo!'' Splinter said while grinning and watching the sudden embrace. ''This is like one of those movies with all the romance! Speaking of romance..'' Splinter said while gazing at Dream then shaking his head back and forth. ''You can't just confess the love already! Just get close to her, make her feel cozy, bam! I earn the date of a lifetime. And possibly some fun.'' Splinter thought while grinning and scooting a bit closer to Dream. ''I'm going to die in this very spot of nervousness.''

Electro Dash was almost at a loss for words. She went back to hugging him.

"you need to tell me these things. i'm not going to hate you because you were ran out of a few towns. It was just simply not your fault. something went haywire that's all. but... I don'I know if i can say were more than friends yet. I feel as if I would be rushing things on you..."

Dox trekked through the forest, carrying his huge pack on his back. It kinda made him look like a small manticore from its odd shape, and that's the way he liked it, he would scare off any other threatening animals by looking like one. 'I can't believe that Imissed the meetup time, now I'm trekking here, in the dark, alone...' He continued on.

Firebolt heard something walking toward where they were. She  listened a bit longer, but couldn't confirm what it was due to the other ponies talking. She tried to brush the thought of it being something bad from her head, and rested her head down on her blanket.

Thunder noticed Firebolt seemed to be worried about something. He walked over and tried to figure out what the problem was.

 

"Is there something wrong, Firebolt? You look like you're worried about something. Is there anything I can do to help?

 

Was he coming on too strong? He wasn't sure, but it was worth a try.

"Uhm... No. I'm fine." Firebolt replied quietly. She didn't want anypony to think she was a wimp. But she also didn't want anypony to get hurt. "I just thought I heard something, is all." She added quickly, talking a bit louder, then smiling slightly, before looking away.

"Oh... well I, um... don't worry about it alright? I've been in the forest plenty of times and I'm sure that even if something was out there that wanted to hurt us, I could take care of it. Um... not that that's very likely, though. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Um... so anyway, what made you want to come out here?"

Firebolt chuckled at the stallion's shyness. He was much bigger then her, and him standing over her was kind of intimidating. Realizing he had asked her a question, she replied with; "Oh. I just wanted to meet some different ponies. I don't know many." She didn't want to tell him too much about herself, but not too little so it looked like she was being secretive either.

Thunder saw that she was uncomfortable with him standing over her. He did tend to have that effect on ponies.

 

"Yeah, me too. Usually people are too intimidated by me to want to talk to me. I guess it's because I'm so big, and I have these scars, not to mention that people aren't used to seeing a zebra."

Gears hugged her right back.

"Well, it was more than a few towns, but still, the gesture itself is nice enough."

He smiled, and slowly tried to break loose. He didn't nessacarily want to let go, but he still needed to make sure the pressure in his tent stayed at a normal level. And of course make another

"Alright, well, I need to go check on the tent to make sure everything is fine... But I'll talk to you later..."

Dream was too caught up in her book to realize Splinter was getting closer to her by the second. Then she noticed and raised an eyebrow.

 

"Why are you gettin' so close? Are you in love with me or something? That would be hil-ar-ious. Anyway, theres rooom for someone else on this hammock, wanna come on?"

Splinter was speechless. How could she have known? Was he TOO close? Well, he was. ''S-sure.. I g-g-guess I could.'' Splinter stuttered while his face turned bright red as he laid down on the hammock. ''That. Was. Fast. Did that just happen? Am I sleeping? I must be sleeping. I better pinch myself. Well, even if it is a dream.. I'm enjoying it.'' Splinter thought while his blush got redder.

(OOC: I know that feel too. Spent an entire month of inactivity due to Skyrim once. :U )

Thunder shrugged; he pretty much assumed that nopony had met a zebra besides him.

 

"Yeah, I kind of figured that you hadn't. Very few ponies around here have seen one. Really anywhere not on the far side of Everfree we're pretty uncommon. At least nopony here has been staring at me like I'm a freak. I hate when people do that."

"Yes. It's always nice to feel accepted..." Firebolt said, stretching out her wings. "A lot of ponies seem to make fun of my wings, so I know where you are coming from... just not on the same level, obviously." Firebolt blew a bit of her forelock off her face, occipying herself as to not look directly at the stallion, feeling a bit intimidated.

Thunder noticed she seemed to be avoiding looking at him and sighed.

 

"You're intimidated by me, aren't you? It's... It's okay if you are. I understand that I'm big and I look kind scary or mean or whatever. I'm really not, though. I just want people to understand me, I try to be friendly, it just doesn't come easily to me. But please, just... you don't have anything to be afraid of."

Firebolt stayed silent for a second. "I would be less intimidated if you weren't standing over me...." She said quietly, looking up at him directly. "Could you... uhm... lie down?" She asked quietly, almost doubting she could have heard him over the other ponies' voices.

He sat down next to her.

 

"Alright, is that okay? I'm really sorry, I just don't want to make you feel uncomfortable or anything. I'm not too close to you or anything, am I? I can move away if you want."

Gears trotted into his tent and gathered all the nessacary materials to build another tent. All he needed now was the Maranthane Sap of the Marantha tree. It was easily obtained from the general store, but in the woods in was a lot harder.

He took a small box from his satchel and pushed a button, a primitive robotic pony forming.

"How may I serve you, master?"

"Rhonda, go find a Marantha Tree and collect sap from it."

"Your wish is my-my-my-my-my-my commmmmaaanddddsss master."

The robotic pony trotted off and went into the forest.

Gears quickly checked the pressure levels and trotted outside.

(I know the Skyrim thing too, which is kind of obvious.)

Dox had walked a good distance when he finally saw the light of a campfire. 'Ah, finally, I must have caught up to them now, hope they're expecting me.' He started walking towards the camp, and he could hear ponies talking. He smiled, excited to finally reach the others.
