I got shown these movies non-stop in day care when I was little.  I liked them pretty well, especially I, III, VII, and X.  I need to see IV again maybe, I don't remember a dang thing about it.

I wanted to be a paleontologist and I had a bunch of books on the subject because of that show. I'm not sure if I'd like it now, but I'd rather not spoil great memories

I remember those...and then I saw the movies again and I thought they sucked.

 

I found it overwrought and cliche. The end message I've heard in at least 90 other films....

Land Before Time makes me cry every time. Especially the first movies. ESPECIALLY when Littlefoot's mother died. Yeah, that still gets to me every time I remember it. :'(

I was already like 16 when the first movie came out.  Oh well, no matter.  I went on a major dinosaur kick at the time.  Paleontologists were releasing exciting new reports which suggested dinosaurs were smarter and faster than thought to be in the past.  And that they were probably warm blooded as well.  And I always remember this commercial Pizza Hut ran at the time.

Anywho, the original movie was pretty good with a very nice score.  I watched one of the direct to VHS sequels too, but it didn't endear me like the first one did.

I used to be dino-obsessed, I wanted to be a paleontologist too. Then I spread that to my cousin. Who spread that to his brother. The dino infection will rule all little kids!

Of course I remember this, yep, yep, yep! I was really big into dinosaurs as a kid and they still fascinate me.

 

I think I still have the VHS for 1-5 somewhere, I definitely didn't throw them out. I'll have to go digging for them; if I can find pokemon 2000, im pretty sure I can find these too.
