A dream within a dream within a subtext of a dream inside a dream....

Ok, so I got that out of my system first, now I can get on with this post.

I usually have incredibly vivid dreams, a few years ago I even had a dream that I went to school and went through the entire day, it felt so real that when I got up I packed my bag for the following day and turned up at the wrong lessons, anyway... As the title suggests, the other day I had a dream within a dream, it was a strange experience.

Anyone else had a dream within a dream before? Or even gone down through even more dream levels? ;p

I've had a dream where I woke up from a dream, then I woke up and there was a big lipped alligator in front of me, singing. Then I woke up again.

Okay, now there is a LITERAL inception thread? My brain hurts.

I had a dream that my alarm clock was going off inside my house, and I looked everywhere trying to find it.

When I woke up, my alarm wasn't even set. ಠ_ಠ

Know that feel, I've had dreams before that have made me wake up in a panic thinking I've overslept, just to find out its like 6am on a Saturday, although that feeling of knowing you can go back to sleep for the next 6 hours is great :3

It's all pretty blurry now but I remember having some kind of dream where I went to school then came back home and went to sleep; after I woke up (really woke up; not one of those " woke up but it's still a dream" moments) I wasn't entirely sure if that was really a dream or if that was yesterday XD.

I've had a couple false awakenings (dreaming about waking up) in which I've gone through my morning routine, but only once have I actually dreamed about going to sleep.

It was a really weird experience.  I was having a dream where I had just nearly escaped a bombing at my school, and some police were giving me a ride home in a van.  I felt pretty tired, and decided to lay down and rest my eyes, and next thing I knew I had entered a different dream.  Don't remember what that one was about.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

I woke up and went to the bathroom and as I'm opening the doors, I wake up. And go to the bathroom. And wake up again as I open the bathroom doors.

I didn't go to bathroom again, just in case.
