What video-gamestyle would MLP follow?

I would love a MLP FIM game similar to The Simpsons arcade game. A 6 player beat em' up arcade game with all of our favorite characters, awesome retro gameplay, boss battles, and all kinds of crazy enemies.

No, really. It would be that awesome to me. I would probably spend a entire truck loaded with quarters on it.

I doubt something like this will happen.

But, should this idea ever see the light of day, and Hasbro gave the okay, I would pay, let me say it again, I will pay to play this game.

If this did come out as an arcade then I would be one to spend a lot of quarters to play it.

 

And you know what the concept is possible and it can be done. The only thing that would stop us is Hasbro.

Nah, I'd like it to be An Rpg. Similar to the style of Super Mario Rpg or super start saga.

 

Also, A 2D-Platformer would be good too

How about an street fighter style fighting game? That would be great, you could give each of the mane six their own unique fighting style. It would be called Fighting is Magic.

 

Could you imagine if computer technology eventually gets to the point where we can have real interactions with game characters?  I mean look at what we can already do with things like Siri.  Some day I might get to actually have real conversations with some version of Pinkie Pie!

So we are right on schedule!  It will only be a matter of time now before I get to talk to Pinkie Pie!!!

As I say before, an RPG.

You could choose your race, mane style, etc.

And perhaps you could start in childhood, an earn your cutie mark in any way possible, possibly with an XP system.

I think it would be an rpg style and would take form of either of a style similar to the early final fantasies, but with better graphics of course. Or it would be a little like dragon age and mass effect in that you interact with characters and the world from the 3rd person view, and the world carries on its business around you.

I'd really hope for an RPG game, specifically based of the Mario & Luigi series. I think that would work really well IMO. The vibe is the game is a really upbeat one too, perfect for FiM. The humor is there too.
