Is it possible to delete posts in the thread if you're DM? If not, then I guess we could just ignore the contentious posts, asking the people who made them to edit them as "post removed" or something?

 

In my latest post in the RP, I'm basically posting as ignoring the godmoding.

At this point, I like to think they're pretty much off in their own world. And no, I can't delete posts. It was brought up a while ago and the staff quickly shot it down because it's too much power, which I agree with.

 

Actually, I'll let you decide how to handle it. Whatever you want to do, I'll back you up on it. You're the one it most affects anyway.

Well, as DM (even if you're not assuming sole power, you're the one who started and basically owns the RP), you still have the power to ask people to remove posts (as I said before, edit in *post removed* or similar) if they're breaking the rules you laid down. Which they are; the rules clearly state smiting in case of godmoding. As well as the whole overpowering thing; a site I used to RP on, the mod was very clear about the power of the RP owner in such a case. Basically, if they say your character is too powerful and needs to be toned down, you do so or else leave the RP. I once had to tell this girl to leave an RP of my own; her character was stated to be the princess of all vampires and with zero weaknesses. Cuz she refused to edit the character, I kicked her out.

Well to my idea a barrier that repell two elementals at the same time seems kinda... OP? Seeing these are the elemental lords themselves its the most powerful but it seems... Kinda opish just saying like this ¨dude... No way your going in here¨ and yes i know my character was op getting in but you know what he wouldnt handle combat thats why he didnt paralyze it again also the electricity will fill any gap and its pripy controlling the unstability of it since prip controls the barrier but its just like another barrier in order to protect right now, anyways prip if you want you could just shut it down by renewing or just leading the electricity into the ground *shrugs* i dont really care about what happens with it.

 

PS. Ashwing cant really use them too much and could die any minute in that mysterious room *hint hint* to DM and second in command

It's not a barrier, as I explained before; it's a protection spell. In any case, any attempt to breach it would notify Glory and she'd naturally rush outside, seeing as I already posted she was in the temple. Had you and the others posted an attempt to break in, then waited, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. It's more the fact that you just went on with your character sneaking in unseen, regardless of anything my character would have done, that's the godmoding bit. Also, seeing as it's MY character who made the spell, it's ME who decides what the spell does should anypony fight against it. Not to mention that having your character control several elementals is what makes him overpowered in the first place, as stated before by others.

 

Actually, I'll let you decide how to handle it. Whatever you want to do, I'll back you up on it. You're the one it most affects anyway.

 

@, I'd settle for what I said before, the posts edited by the people controlling the characters and the temple NOT breached and nopony sneaking in.

Okay so your asking some people to simply move their characters (this is for darklord but meh) to another location just like that? I dont get it at all, how is it possible for someone who clearly is a long range and not insanely fast able to even move somewhere in the instant of 0,8 seconds? But ill roll and edit 5 posts ...

I still need an explanation why in the love of god i need to come up with new stuff and there are not much stuff her can do... Its harder than the emeperor atleast... I got to think of a POSSIBLE thing he can do for two reasons thats hard, one hes a changeling, two he is not talkactive.

Im not im just asking that i can have a little more advantage than like other or it would be mega unfair because its basically 10 v 1 so wouldnt the one who is alone have SOMETHING that is stronger, also your team (the 10) have more strength than my 1 without all the things i did, one magnus (skullbuster) said he had atleast 1 of each equipment enchanted by the gods... The emperor can freely control fire and earth while i? i can barely control any of the elements the only thing i had was speed and what the freak is speed if you cant use it.

Anyway, if you play things properly you already have several advantages. For one thing, they don't know what you are, so you have the element of surprise. Also, they don't know that you're alone, so you could always bluff. And really no-one ever said you were alone for that matter.

I could introduce a changeling character of my own if it helps but only if Alex and Jolteon agree. This character could maybe bump into Ashwing and they could work together; would be better than coming up with McGuffins to try and "even the odds".

He said it after he came to the temple and entered his room... I read it thrice i remember it (because of stupid half photographic memory...) anyways i did not do that he basically had nothing of advantage from the start except his speed which trap mac trap pretty much can counter by getting the floor stoney or something.

the thing is they are not enchanted, they just have a marking on them they are not enchanted in any sort of way

I believe you misinterpreted what he said. He said his equipment had emblems devoted to the gods, not that they were enchanted by them. The emblems are presumably little more than decorations. At least, he hasn't said otherwise.

I don't mind introducing another character if it helps any. I made the offer basically cuz I'd like the RP to continue and I after all only have one character.
