So I more or less so just butchered Nightmare moon, Don't be too harsh on me with this one, it's 3:30 AM and I'm just finishing her XP

Actually, it's not as bad as you think. It's actually pretty good. I like the fade-away effect you have going on the mane. All you need to do is clean up the coloring a little bit and it would be an amazing drawing!!

Ok, in my honest opinion, this isn't bad at all. In fact its better than mine in some ways.

The Anatomy- This is pretty much spot-on, even the body shape isnear perfect.

The Mane-  A bit off at the rear since It doesn't seem to connect to the flank, but thats an easy mistake.

The Colouring- Definitely flawed, but not terrible, and for what you had to work with, the colouringis good despite being mixed.

 

For a beginner at drawing ponies, this is a very good start.

 

But now for the bad thing, which for now isn't major, but should be fixed the more you work with art if you're truly serious about it.

 

The STYLE- Big, major thing if you're going to seriously begin working with the arts. For a beginner, as I said this is very good, but the style of it is almost show identical. For now, this isn't a major issue, but as I said, as you practice and get better, incorparate your own style into your drawings, even if its fanart.

 

The thing about style is it captures your essence of the drawing, making it yours. Not only that, but unique styles usually end up in a good place in art. Another good thing about style is that it helps discern your style from another artist's style.

I can only say 1 thing here: If you'd draw that on a computer(with tablet ofc) then it would look faaantatic! Otherwise The shape is great and the colors match, but next time try not to put so much pressure on the pencils..or use softer pencils)

That came out pretty well I wish I had that kind of talent at points but it you did it on a tablet as blaaaze said it would look amazing not that your drawing doesn't look good

Oh yeah, that's off-topic. Uhh, back to the subject

It's great in my opinion, and you the colors are quite accurate. But the one thing that takes away from it is the pencil or crayon marks kinda smudgy. You get what I mean? Otherwise, it's awesome.

that was mean <_<  anyways it's just a personal preference and for me personaly a tablet is a lot easier to use(for anyone who knows how to use pen and paper..I guess vector takes some skills to work with.

It's awesome, and accurate! Perfect, even! Just one thing: Instead of using crayons, try using colored pencils or something less smudgy. They won't be as smudgy as crayons! But other than that, it's awesome and looks exactly like she does on the show! Try drawing some more ponies, and take my advice on the colored pencils. Then it'll look so cool!! But this isn't bad...it's really good!

Oh boo hoo, I can't draw. Why must you put your self down my good sir? You may not be of epic levle yet, but your art is certainly nothing to frown upon. The fact that you seem to have done this with crayons is quite impressive. I look forward to seeing more of your doodles.
