Indigo 127 January 31, 2012 Share January 31, 2012 Mincespy speaks the truth. Mom: Your room is so messy! Me: This isn't a mess, THIS IS ORGANISED CHAOS! Best Friend: You need to bust a move man, get a girlfriend. Me: Disregard females, acquire ponies. Guy next to me in Physics: Why does your calculator have a rainbow pony on the back of it? Me: Ah shit, I'm subconsciously doodling again... [Phrases I have started using in life incessantly in recent months]: "This...needs to be about 20% cooler." *Deep breath in* "Yeeeeey." "Eeeyup." (used most often, it really confuses some teachers) "Everypony" (Always by accident) "Dear Princess Celestia, today I learned <insert finished task in maths>, your faithful student, Daniel Turkington." (the funny looks are so worth it) "Disregard x, acquire ponies." "BUY SOME APPLES!" [Top songs I am found humming or singing]: -Giggle at the Ghosties -Becoming Popular (Mandopony style) -Winter Wrap Up -Pinkie's Brew -The Heart Carol (Eurobeatbrony style) -The Night Before (Not a brony song? What if it's sung in Beatlebrony style?) Me: *Doing my Impression of (a rather extreme right-wing ex-politican over here in NI, with a hilarious accent.* Now, y'may think, I spend most of my time makin' speeches, but I must say, I do enjoy doses of ponies. My favourite character is Applejack, because of her firm conservative beliefs. The assembly is assured, that Jerry Adams is very much a fan of Rainbow Dash. I call veto against this, Applejack, is best pony. Guy1: You know, there's not much point to life is there? Me: Disregard nihilism, acquire ponies. Guy1: ...Ooookaaaay? Guy2: He's a brony. Guy1: A what? Guy2: A guy who watches My Little Pony. Me: Damn straight *Brohoofs Guy 2* Guy1: I...am not sure what is going on right now. Female friend: Why are all men so obsessed with sex? Me: *Shrugs* Pffft, disregard masculinity, acquire ponies. Female friend: Sounds about right.

Wonka 39 January 31, 2012 Share January 31, 2012 Almost anything that can happen will remind me of ponies. So yea, my mind is full of ponies. Perfect_Harmony 58 January 31, 2012 Share January 31, 2012 (edited) I was writing a paper for my class the other day and I kept typing in "everypony" without even thinking. I always catch myself but I think it would be a tad on the awkward side if I were to use it accidentally in a speech in front of everybody. This is gonna be hard to forget in physics, especially the way things have been going lately. Its not like she's trying to fix and electrical problem with a hammer or anything...what could go wrong? Anyway, on topic, I know this feeling all too well. Just the other day in church, right in the middle of a song, a line just triggered my pony thoughts and I just spent the rest of the service trying to look like I was paying attention and not get a huge grin on my face like a usually do when I think of pony related things nowadays, but really in my head just enjoying my thoughts over all things pony. I don't even try to fight it anymore, I just roll with it. Edited February 1, 2012 by super muffin derpy506 It's party time, ponies! Ele77 30 February 1, 2012 Share February 1, 2012 I have the same problem of recent. I will be looking at some work, then boom a small tiny little refrence and for the next hour I am stuck on that thought. I find the best way to look at it is, is that by remembering the show you remember the morals, as silly as some as they may be, they do actually apply to every day things that seem annoying, the amount of times I have sat back and used one of the morlas to confront a situation only to see that it actually worked is outstanding. I do not complain about this seemingly dominant portion of control this show has taken over my mind, though the only time It can get annoying is If I am trying to do work, and everything I think off leads me down on a detour back to it. Though it has helped me, by looking at the animation style as well as smaller references with in the show, they act as catalyst to other information I could use. I applaud the show for this, but more importantly I applaud you guys, as a community Bronys make what the show is for may.
Tom 891 February 1, 2012 Share February 1, 2012 I think ponies have took control over my higher order thought process. Today we were describing all sorts of injuries and unbearable pain, and all I could think of was ponies and also some torture devices/methods. hwrogers 168 February 2, 2012 Share February 2, 2012 almost had an applejack moment today, my bro and i drove to mom's property to do some shooting (.22s are fun and effective methods for ensuring that no data can be recovered from an old hard drive) and after a couple shots ring out we spot a rabbit running into the woods, we both immediately think "rabbit stew" (don't knock it till you try it) but almost as fast i think of applejack in "the cutie chronicles" chasing the rabbits "darn thievin varmints!" the other day i was discussing a few things with a friend and i recomended he colorize the stampings on his m16 knockoff, he says "why?" i answer "it needs to be 20% cooler, this'll make it at least 20% cooler." heard him use the phrase yesterday, explained it's origin, troll'd
Coco Pommel 669 February 2, 2012 Share February 2, 2012 (edited) What I consider a large nuisance is how much ponies are implemented in my life since I got into the show and have told people about it. I try to shut my mouth, but since quite a few people know that I like the show, I get in talks about it frequently. They aren't talks about which episode or which charactar is whose favorite, but how people are surprised when I say that this show is different. A few people have joked around with it lightheartedly, though in a slightly mean sense. I even had a few arguments with an anti-brony, which I thought was silly. As for ponies trolling my mind, I've made pony references in my work. Like, instead of saying "somebody", I'd say "somepony" and I've even drawn pony charactars in public, which led to people asking why I was drawing ponies.
