What are your most stupid reasons to get in trouble in school?

I am a very naughty student at my high school. I had 7 detentions in the year, and I just got my 7th yesterday.

First detention: Writing inappropriate stuff on a piece of paper for teh lulz.

Second detention: Kicking my locker like Applejack, then running off.

Third detention: Falling asleep in class.

Fourth detention: Profanity

Fifth detention: Profanity

Sixth detention: Tripping a classmate

Seventh detention: Falling asleep in class

What's your stupid reasons?

Best reason I ever got detention for was "calling the teacher obscene things a total of six times and using the elevator designated for special ed kids a total of four times."

They literally wrote that down on a sheet of paper and tried to get me to give it to my parents but lol I just forged their signature on the thing.

Just editing my signature to say that my behavior on here was cringe. I don't regret the friends i made but man i was cringe here

What do you mean stupid? Those all sound like valid reasons for you to get a detention.

Also, I've never once gotten a detention, I always follow rules and do what I'm told.

Pfffft. Teacher's pet

It's been a while since I've got a detention. My latest one was when I was late to a class.

The rest were in middle school. Mostly 6th grade.

Calling a kid the single biggest cunt that I know, that's one.

I also got another for drawing ponies all over the place.

Another for accidently setting the microwave on fire in the lunch room. (I was 6 and didn't even know tin foil would combust!)

And another for shoving a map of Middle-Earth literally in someone's face.

Without a doubt it would of been my bus incident. I was doing whatever I do on the bus when...idiots were tossing this bottle around and it landed on me, so I pushed it off, like anyone would of done. BUT OH NO, 1 drop landed on this kid's shirt and he went to the principal and said I threw the bottle at him, and the principal told me I had to pay for him a new shirt and do 3 detentions. I said "Screw both of you, and your crappy shirt" and switched schools. Most stupid thing to get in trouble over. At first I tried talking reasonably to the principal, but he was just to stupid and close-minded.

I only got one detention throughout my entire scholastic career, in the 10th grade for being late to my 1st period class repeatedly. The reason: I wasn't able to drive myself, and Mom always took 3.78 forevers to put her makeup on. I'd tell her it was time to go, and she'd tell me she was "almost done." And when I told her she needed to hurry up with the makeup, she got all defensive and said it was MY fault somehow. Typical Mom logic. It was really annoying. And it eventually got me a detention by absolutely no fault of my own. dry.png

Even worse was the way I reacted. Think Twilight from "It's About Time"; I was in a state of shock when I was told I had a slight 15 minute detention, and for about a week I had convinced myself that I was doomed to McDonald's for the rest of my life because no serious school would accept such a blemish. I take school incredibly seriously.wacko.png

Indeed.

Bro... Brobrobrobrobro... Bro...

I'm actually thinking I'd still go to a good college after those 7-8 detentions in 6th grade. Is that bad?

It was in 6th grade. You'll be fine.

For when you don't put your name on your paper. I usually do, but I forgot once and the teacher just made it a bigger deal than it actually was.

My high school has a no nonsense approach to enforcing the rules. We have a main principle, two assistant principals, and a director of athletics, all four of which assist in monitoring the school in addition to their administrative duties. In addition, there are three security guards. These are actual security guards, huge, scary, but generally they seem pretty nice. There's one in charge of the main floor, one in charge of the second floor, and one who monitors the outside area around the school, including the parking lots. On the main floor there's a security guard office that's like a small house in the middle of the large main area/lunchroom. They have these windows that they can see out of and watch kids walk by, but you can't see inside through them. I think all of the auditoriums also have small offices in the back of them with those kinds of windows for security. We also have a resource officer from the local police department who works at our school as additional security, covering the school in general. There are also probably near one hundred teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff. There are also security cameras everywhere, near the entrances, throughout the hallways, near administrative offices, and outside. It is extremely difficult to get away with anything at my school, which is definitely a good thing. From what I have seen so far, there is very little bullying or other bad behavior at my school. It happens, but so far it seems greatly limited. This way I can go to school without having to be too afraid that something bad will happen.

Punishments for serious rule violations at my school are severe. I don't think the security guards care about swearing, but if you use it in class and the teacher hears you, depending on the teacher, you'll probably get in trouble, but I doubt the punishment for that is too severe. However, if you get into a fight at school, the resource officer arrests you on site, and you also get 10 days out of school suspension. If you are caught with drugs at school, you get 10 days out of school suspension. You can also be expelled: at the sophomore orientation at the beginning of the year, one of the assistant principals told us that once, a senior was caught spitting off of the second floor balcony down onto the main floor on one of the security cameras. The security cameras are so powerful they could clearly see what his shirt said. He was expelled.

I have yet to get in any serious trouble at school. Only a minor event comes to mind: I was in the lunch room, and the bell rang. I got out of my chair, and kicked it pretty hard into the table instead of pushing it in normally. The main principal, one of the assistant principals and the resource officer were all standing mere feet away from me. They pretty much just looked at me, and the main principal wagged his finger at me with a look of "don't do that" and told me to take it easy or something. Other than that, I've never gotten in any form of trouble at school, and I never plan to. There is absolutely no reason why I would want to. I don't want to mess with those security guards, I don't want to go to jail, I don't want to get anything bad on some kind of permanent record, and I just don't feel inclined to do something that's seriously wrong.
