My OC

So I did a drawing of Piacevole, my OC, (finally) just to have another picture of her. Also because I finally designed her cutiemark and I wanted a drawing of it on her as well as with her bow. It's just a pencil drawing since I don't really have the colored pencils to be able to color her properly. 

 

I apologize for the poor quality, the lighting in my room kind of sucks and I don't have a way to scan it. 

 

I'm not really looking for critique on the drawing, I already know what's wrong with it. I'd rather hear your thoughts on my OC itself.

 

 

 

EDIT: She does have a color scheme, in case you were confused. You can see it on her page, the link is in my signature. I just didn't have anything to color it with right now.

I really like that design. I notice the cutie mark... are you interested in music yourself (and what part of music? Songwriting? etc.)?

 

I also really like that hair. It seems organized yet free. A bit hard to explain but good nonetheless!

I like it. I'm interested in what color scheme you'll be using. I think when it has some color to it, it will really pop right off the page.

I don't write music myself, I wish I could though!  I do play flute and piccolo though and I love classical music, I'm a huge band geek.

Oh! My, what a cutie! I absolutely love the design! The mane is definitely one of the cutest parts, in my opinion as well! ^^ She seems like she'd make a wonderful character! When possible, I'd love to hear more about her.

The OC itself's design kinda reminds me of Applebloom in a way, just older. However I also think Color scheme is a bit part in OC's, Seriously I spent alot of time perfecting my color scheme on my OC to be honest . Until I had it just right in pony creator. So I think thats an important part which is hard to judge since I don't have any indication of it yet.

 

Regardless it looks good so far! Looking forward to seeing it colored!

Ohh sorry I'm being ignorant tonight I guess Xd. Must be tired.

 

I looked at the color scheme, i'd say its pretty solid, the colors fit pretty well together, I can't really say I'd change much because one of the colors being to bright may mess up the color balance. I suppose if you wanted you could fiddle with it a bit, but I think its pretty good without making any giant remodels or anything.

 

I guess in the end its up to you .

As music-focused OCs go, its pretty good.

Maybe add  bit more of a personality to her: Some quirks, fears, favourite food, just flesh her out a bit more beyond "she's shy"

The coloursheme looks good, but the design is not very memorable, like ponycreator made OCs tend to be.

Maybe change her mane a bit, add some accessory, something that will make her unique.
